Deak shrugged at Jason's question. He looked around, an instantly identified Zeak's lifeless body. Deak bit his lip before getting closer. He forced himself not to cry. Deak absolutely could not do that in front of Jason. It would make him seem less of a man then Jason and Deak couldn't accept that. He then proceeded to look around, until he found a large garbage bag. He wrapped Zeak in it and carried him out. Deak laid him down in a good grassy area. "Here." Deak said pointing next to a small grave. It was Zeak's mother's grave.

Jason nodded and carefully dropped the bag on the ground next to the grave. "Should we start digging?" he asked, looking at Zeak's mother's grave a bit sadly. He couldnt believe where this world was going.
Shadow looked out the window and sighed, seeing a walker stuck under a car. Hope thats not how they turned.. She thought sadly. Shadow then exited the apartment and climbed the rooftops. She soon found Deak and Jason with a garbage bag next to a grave. She raised an eyebrow and jumped down from the short building. "What is that? she asked softly as she came closer to them.

"Yeah we should start digging. We should be quick though, I want to surprise Shadow." Deak said before Shadow Ironically arrived on the spot. He quickly turned, giving Jason the keep-quiet look. "Oh, nothing. Just taking out some trash. That place was beginning to stink!" He joked. "Hey, while your here, could you go to the apartment and get my gun? I hid an extra one under the bed." Deak said trying to shoo Shadow away.

Shadow gave him a weird look and looked again at the grave. "Next to this?" she asked suspiciously. "Jason whats going on?" she asked, knowing he would probably spill it. Jason only looked away from her piercing eyes. Shadow sighed and went back up the building. "See you guys later.." he said and went off.

Deak sighed when Shadow left. "Ok lets hurry." He said conveniently finding a shovel propped up against the pool house. He began to dig up a hole large enough and deep enough to fit Zeak. "Ok, now we just have to get a few things from my apartment. Its close so it won't take long." He stated.

Jason nodded his head and looked at the way Shadow had gone. "Hopefully, we dont want her to come back and find a hole for Zeak here." he said and follwed Deak.
Shadow had finally reached the apartment and looked before she could jump off the building and climb the ladder. Soon this place would be all torn up and chunks would be everywhere. At the bottom she saw a group of men at the corner of the building. With caution, she watched carefully. "Ok, we changed the plans to bomb them tomorrow morning. We have to get here exactly at 6:00. They'll never expect an attack so early." he finished. In response the rest grunted in agreement and they walked the oppisite direction. Shadow felt fear in her again and waiting for them to come out of site befor going into the building. "We'll have to leave tonight, no rest then I guess.." she muttered to herself. Shadow then entered and searched around for Deaks weapon.

Deak smiled, and for the first time, it was directed towards Jason. "Its ok bro, I'm only getting a few things." He said and within a few minutes they were at his apartment. He scavenged around until he found what he wanted. A picture of a girl who looked around their age and a locket. "Lets hurry back, I don't want to take to long." he said wondering if his well hidden gun would distract Shadow long enough.
((Deak is going to tell Jason a story about his life before Shadow shows up. Don't worry it won't be a long sob story. Just a short one! XD))

Jason took a look at the locket and was a bit confused. "Who's that?" he asked following him back.
Shadow had nearly torn the place apart looking for the damn thing. Finally she found the gun tapped underneath the counter in the kitchen. "Smart." she said. Shadow didnt want to rush so she only ended up walking the streets instead.

Deak looked up at the sky as he walked. "Zeak's mom." Deak answered simply. "She raised me a him." He paused to hold up the picture. "And this is Zeak's ex-girlfriend. She also grew up with us. She stayed good friends with us even after they broke up." Deak smiled. "She was great." His smile soon turned into a frown when he thought about how he always fell for Zeak's girls. Deak sighed and realized they where already back at the place they dug the hole. He rolled Zeak in, still in the bag and laid the picture and locket where his chest was. He began filling it with dirt. He sat down next to it and looked down, covering his eyes with his blonde hair. He was in dear need of a hug, but Jason was the only person there. He looked up a Jason with watery eyes. "Dude, I need a hug bro... But you know...no homo."

Jason smiled only slightly at the thought of a girlfriend. He had one before all this, but they lost contact soon after. He then watched as Deak had put Zeak into the hold and the locket along with it. He then made a weird face when Deak asked for a hug but, he probably needed it. Jason then wrapped his arms and gave him a manly pat on his back. (( PLAN XD ))
Shadow had returned finally to see Deak and Jason hugging. She held in her laugh and then looked down at the recently dug hole, confused. "Uh, haha.. You guys are.." she said akwardly rubbing the back of her neck.

Deak planted his face on Jason's shoulder. "No homo man!" He said through tears. Thats when he heard Shadow. He pushed himself off Jason and wiped the tears from his eyes. He awkwardly cleared his throat. "Uh that was obviously a manly hug! It was totally not homosexual in any way! Right Jason!?" He looked around nervously.

Jason blushed in embarressment when he heard Shadows voice. He then quickly let go off Deak and took a step back. Jason then fake coughed into a balled fist andlooked at Shadow. "Haha HUG?! I dont know what your talking about.." he said. Shadow laughed but stopped short when she saw the grave once again. "What is that?" she asked softly, pushing the guys apart gently. (( This just went from funny to sad D: ))

Deak looked down at the grave. "Its Zeak's." he said and looked back up to Shadow. "Thought we should burry him before we leave. I..." He paused for a second and looked over to Jason. "We wanted to surprise you." He decided to give his new friend some credit. "Oh, and Jason. Sorry for being a complete ass to you before. I'm kinda bipolar." He apologized.

Shadow looked down at Zeaks grave and collapsed to her knees. But this time, she didnt cry. She was happy, happy that he could be at peace now. "Thanks guys. Im sure Zeak would be proud." she said. Jason smiled slightly and told Deak it was fine. He then bent down to Shadow and gave her a warm hug. "Your welcome Shadow. Im pretty sure he was a great guy." he said looking at the grave. Shadow smiled and stood up, brushing herself off. "I need to tell you guys something. They're bombing the place tomorrow morning. We have to leave tonight.." she said.

Deak smiled, but it didn't last long. More bad news. "Seriously?! Can't we just wake up early?" He suggested, shivering at his own idea. "Damn those guys." He crossed his arms. "This day couldn't get worse." He pouted. Then it started to drizzle. "You just love proving me wrong don't you universe!" He cursed to the sky.

Shadow looked to Deak and spoke. "I seriously doubt thats possible. Anyway they could plan it any earlier and we'll be asleep when the place explodes. We have to go back and get our stuff ready." she ordered. Shadow then smiled slightly when it drizzled and Deak was mader than before. She looked back at Zeaks grave. "You guys go ahead. I just need a second here.." she said. Jason nodded his head. "Course, Shadow. Lets go Deak.." he said softly and started walking towards the apartment.

Deak sighed and soon was following Jason back to the apartment. He was mostly silent while they where walking, but he had so many things going on in his mind. He looked up at the sky as his hair slowly dampened. Not long after they started walking did the rain stop. "Thank god. I thought we were going to have to walk through a storm." Deak sighed in relief.

Jason looked back at Deak. "So any idea where were headed after we leave?" he asked, trying to break the silence. Up ahead was the apartment and it soon stopped raining.
Shadow stared down at Zeaks grave and sighed. "Thanks for being there for me. I'll try to stay out of trouble, but I dont know if I believe it when Im saying that. Thanks for being there when I was at my lowest, Zeak. God, if I wasnt so stupid! This wouldnt have hapened.." she said. Shadow then grabbed one of her daggers and drove it into the dirt above where his had would be. She then walked back and caught up with Deak and Jason. (( Lol some of the lines where Shadow was talking to Zeak are actually from one of my favorite songs XP))

Once they got to the apartment Deak flopped down on the couch. "Sooooo.... TIRED!" Deak shoved a pillow over his face. "Too much walking. Need TV." He whined. Deak sighed. "Why me?" He threw the pillow to the side. "Why us?" He stared at the celling. It wasn't long before his adorable sleeping face appeared. He breathed almost silently, but if you listened closely you could hear it.
((I kinda ran out of things to say, but I stopped myself before I rambled on about how adorable Deak is while sleeping XD))
