"Its should be pretty fresh. I mean it wasn't that long ago that someone was here." Deak shrugged. He waited for the others to try it before himself. For some reason, he wasn't in the mood for food right now.
Jade watched as Deak left the room. She didn't want him to get angry and trash the place. This house held most of her precious memories. She decided he might need a little boy talk. "Hey, Jason, is it? Can you take some food to deak? I know he must be hungry." She smiled and turned to Shadow. Maybe she could make friends with this girl. "So, Shadow, I hear your a good fighter. How good are you with a sword?" Jade asked, curiously.

Shadow grabbed a plastic fork and slowly put it into her mouth. "Oh no! Its infected!" she joked and put both hands on her throat as she slowly dropped to her back. Shadow then laughed, "Its still pretty good.". She then stood up and patted her hands, clearing away the dust.
Jason smiled and went to Jason, holding a plate full of the food they had just found. "Hey Deak, are you doing alright?" he asked, handing him the plate with a bit of a serious ex
pression.
Shadow looked at Jade and turned away akwardly. Your not transparent. Jade cant see through your memories or anything like that. Her conscience reasurred her. "Um, yea pretty good.. Why?" she asked, now only stealing a glance at her or two.

Deak gave Jason a small smile and took the plate. "Thanks." When Jason asked if he was alright, he didn't know what to say. "I honestly don't know." He sighed. He started to take small bites of the food. "Things are starting to catch up to me I guess." Deak shrugged. He looked around awkwardly. "So uh, I see you like Shadow?" He smirked, changing the subject.
Jade smiled. "Well I happen to be a pretty good swordsman, if I do say so myself." She began to eat. "Maybe we could spar or something sometime?" She asked.
((Shadow should watch out, Jade is a totally different person when she's fighting 0.o))

(( Ah come on, Shadow's killed people bigger than her! XP ))
Jason felt his cheeks grow hot. "Psh, um no.. I do not know why you would say that anyway.." he said looking down and scratching the back of his head. "Um, anyway we were talking about you. You seem a little off, then again, the day Jake got a hold of you guys and the whole Daisy situation.." he said, his cheeks still a little red. (( Jason isnt the best person to talk to is he? XD ))
Shadow then looked at Jade confidently now. "Maybe, I dont know. Still have some things on my mind.. But maybe later.." she said. Shadow then walked out of the kitchen and outside. The truck was still there and so were the giant fields of grass. Shadow then threw herself onto the ground without caring and looked at the sky which was now partly cloudy. Shadow didnt even know if she was good at fighting without her other dagger. She continued looking at the sky and rested yet again.
Shadow had been inside her nightmares again. All she saw was flickering lights and then darkness. She was back at the old city, walking the streets alone. Then the ground started to rumble and buildings were falling. A giant herd of Walkers were comming straight towards her and another group of living humans were up ahead. She started to run towards the humans. "Hey! Wait, please!" Shadow yelled, but they didnt hear her, and kept running. Then the Walkers surrounded her, but didnt harm her in an way. "Come Shadow, your one of us. The killers." one zombie said. Shadow started to slowly walk away but then she saw Mary's face among the dead crowd. "Shadow? If you listened to me you wouldnt have to become a killer." Mary growled.
Shadow then woke up but not with a start or gasp or anything. It was really no surprise who she was becoming or what dreams she had. Mary had told her long ago that Shadow should quit, it was bad and wasnt good for her. Shadow didnt listen though, all goody-goodies were like that right? (( Didnt think I forgot about Mary did you? :D ))

Deak sighed. "I told you I was bipolar didn't I?" He said and shrugged once more. The whole Daisy thing was still a sore subject. If only they could of buried her too. Deak's head then popped up. They didn't make sure Daisy would come back as a walker. "Damn it!" Deak hissed. He then looked to Jason. "You don't remember Daisy coming back as one of them do you?" He asked.
((I was just thinking about Marry! No joke! And maybe they could end up running into zombie Daisy?))

(( BWAHAAH I was wondering since Daisy died if you remembered we didnt kill her! XD ))
Jason's eyes went big. "No, I only remember Jake! Damn! The base was proably attacked, unless they shot her already!" Jason exclaimed. Just then there was a loud thundering noise in the distance. "Did you hear that?" he asked.
Shadow was startled when she heard an explosion. She stood up and cupped her hands over her eyes to block out the sun. There was indeed, an explosion. Black smoke rose out in the distance but you could just barely see it. "I supposed they bombed it already.." she sighed and then walked inside. "Mission was accomplished." Shadow stated to Deak and Jason. "They really did it.." she said sadly.

Deak gave himself a face palm. "The one time Shadow decides not to kill." Deak growled. He then realized Jason didn't know about Shadow and how she killed so many people. Then Shadow herself walked in with the news. "Wow. I honestly didn't think they had it in them, not without their dumb ass leader at least." He said.
Jade heard the boom and walked into the room with all the others. "What was that?" She asked. "Our old hideout." Deak replied. "Oh so that's why you guys came here?" Jade confirmed. Deak nodded.

Shadow only smirked. "Yea, I keep wondering who's going to control them next. I always thought it'd be you though Jason." Shadow stated. She then saw Jade come in and ask about the bomb, in responce Deak answered by saying it was their hideout before. She planned not to let any info out to Jade but she figured her plans were ruined.
Jason was a bit confused when Deak said, "The one time Shadow decides not to kill." He was about to ask what he meant before Shadow came in. "And I dont think so, Jake didnt like me all to well to hand me the group. He would probably think I'd screw it up.." Jason said with only a bit of dissapointment.

Deak looked to Jason. "Pft, you'd be a better leader then he ever was." Deak crossed his arms. "Then again if you were leader, you wouldn't be part of this group and we would probably hate you." Deak shrugged. Daisy would also probably still be alive and they wouldn't of ran into Jade. In a way, maybe it was good Jason didn't become leader, if you rule out the whole Daisy thing.
Jade looked around at the three of them. "I'm sorry to hear. It's getting harder to to find decent survivors." She looked down. "What's wrong?" Deak asked. "It's just before you found me, something happened with me and a few other survivors..." Jade started to remember what happened. Deak didn't get the hint and asked her what happened. "Well there was a group of older guys and they forced me into an ally and harassed me. After a while, I realized I had my sword with me and they were crossing the line, so I..." Jade paused. "Killed them..." She avoided eye contact with any of them. She felt guilt. She hadn't told them she had a smile on her face the whole time she killed them. Jade didn't know what to do, but she knew she would never harm these three.
((And her personality while fighting is revealed! Maybe Jade and Shadow can be friends after all?))

Jason smiled at Deak. "Thanks. I think? But maybe holding people in captivity and torturing them isnt my thing ya know?" he joked slightly. Shadow rolled her eyes and smiled as well. She then looked at Jade who said she had killed people before. Shadow wanted to speak out and say. "I know how you feel!" but decided not too. "Guys, Im going upstairs.. Jade, sorry to hear that happened.." she said a bit too harsh. Shadow needed to leave, she couldnt stay here anymore, knowing her past would come out at some point in time. She then grabbed her duffle bag and put some more stuff in it that she found in the room. Shadow began to zip it up and put it around herself. (( Lol yea maybe ^^ And somebody should go stop Shadow, but dont worry she wont really leave! :3 ))

Deak watched Shadow leave the room. She left the atmosphere awkward and Deak didn't feel like sitting in silence. He walked out of the room to find Shadow stuffing a duffle bag and acting like she was going to leave. "Where do you think your going?" Deak chuckled. "You not getting off that easily." He joked. He walked over to her. Her face was serious and Deak wasn't liking the looks of things. "Shadow please don't go." Deak was now serious. His eyes had sorrow in them. For the longest time, Shadow was just his dream girl whom he thought he'd never meet. "If it weren't for you, I would probably be dead by now. I feel like we're good friends. If you don't feel the same, I honestly don't give a crap. I don't want you to leave and it obvious. Don't make get into some stupid emotional conversation." He looked to the side, his cheeks a bit red.

Shadow only glanced at Deak for a couple seconds and put the duffle bag over her soulder and looked straight at him. "Sorry Deak, but I cant stay here anymore. Jade's secret just came out. Who knows how long until mine does, I cant live in a house where two of my new f-friends dont know the real me." she hesitated the word 'friends' for Jade. She still considered her as an accomplise. Shadow then began walking downstairs, trying to avoid Jason and Jade. "Shadow! Hey where are you going?" he asked, only a small smile on his face. "Bye Jason.." she said simply and walked out the door. Shadow then ran down the cleared out path in the field towards the far-away town. Running from fears now? Shut up. Not in the mood.. Shadow answered back.
Jason watched as she ran away. "Sh-Shadow!" he yelled. He didnt believe she would really go. He then angrily ran upstairs. "What did you do?!" he hrowled at Deak and shoved him into the wall.
(( TWIST!!! Shadow only leaves you guys for a short time and finds you again, maybe while your in trouble or something? Now is the time to telll Jason or he'll think you did something XP SO EXCITING XD ))

Deak just watched her leave. He knew he couldn't do anything to stop her, but he was trying to hold his rage in. Well until Jason came in and shoved him. "I didn't do anything!" He shoved back even harder. "She left because you and Jade know nothing about her!" He yelled. "She's a killer! She's kill to many people to count! And I'm not talking about walkers!" He clenched his fists.
Jade didn't understand what was happening when Shadow got up and left. She walked in on the boys fighting. And happened to hear the last part. She wasn't shocked, but rather relieved that she wasn't the only one.

(( Oh yea, its fine im not the only killer in the house XD ))
Jason was astonished. "Wh-Wha..?" he began. Jason's anger went away. The first time he had got into a fight with someone in his new group and it wasnt even Deak's fault. "W-Why wouldnt she tell me..? And.. And then she just- just leaves?! Without caring about the people she left behind!" he shouted, but he wasnt angry with Deak, he was quite angry with Shadow though.
Shadow had finally gotten to the town. She had to kill a couple walkers but it was no big deal. At the corner of the town se saw a sign. "Hans Town" As she walked she noticed cars flipped over and cars that crashed into each other. The town was actually quite big. Shadow had to sneak around some trucks to avoid the big crowds of Walkers from biting her. A car alarm went off when she got near it. Most Walkers turned and hased after her. Luckily, there was a gas truck and the ladder was there. Shadow then climbed and looked below where the Walkers started shaking the truck and moaning. (( Dont go after her just yet, she'll escape on the next post ^^ ))

"She left because she cared!" Deak growled. "She was afraid you wouldn't accept her! Don't you dare blame her." He hissed. He was about ready to punch Jason. "She didn't tell you because you wouldn't understand, and you not her boyfriend!" He yelled. He took Jason by the shirt. "You don't know anything about her so don't act like you do." Deak hissed. He let go of his shirt and shoved him away. After he walked down stairs, all you heard was Deak punching the walls.
Jade turned to Jason. "I'm sorry." She said, knowing Jason probably knows Deak was bipolar by now. "He's looked up to Shadow for a long time. He even liked her at one point." She said. "Don't take it personally." She gave him a small smile.

Jason only glared at Deak when he grabbed him by the shirt. He clenched his fists together tightly so he wouldnt hurt Deak, he knew he was in a bad mood. "Thanks Jade.. Its just not he same without Shadow though.." he said sadly and decided to go to his room that he picked out already. It seemed to be a guest room since there was no personel stuff in it. Jason then flopped himself on his bed and looked up at the white ceiling.
Shadow jumped from the gas tank to the building railings near it. The sharp points at the top of the metal pierced her skin and hurt her a bit. The Walkers went crazy and tried going inside the building, only to find the doors locked. She sighed deeply and looked at her fresh cut on her side. It stung a bit but there was surely some medical supplies in the apartment room. Shadow readied her dagger, knowing there would be some Walkers in the building. She opened the sliding glass door and walked in, only to find out that the lights were not working. Shadow then killed 5 zombies in the room alone. Oh God, why did I have to come into this building. Shadow then looked through the medicine cabnets and found medical wrap. She wrapped it around herself and continued looking around.

JAde sighed and walked up to Jason's door. "Just know that i'm here if you need to talk." She said, and began to walk off. She wanted the others to trust her. Killing her friends where totally out of the picture.
Deak sighed. "Please come back, Please come back..." Deak whispered to himself. He wanted to go look for her so badly, but he was afraid she would refuse to go back. He looked out the window to find a few walkers in the distance. That few turned into a small group, then to a crowd. He looked trough all the other windows just to find they where about to be surrounded by a gigantic herd of walkers. There where to many to kill, and to many to escape from. "Shadow, please..." He fell to his knees.
Jade noticed Deak on his knees and imminently caught on. She ran back upstairs and banged on Jason's door. "Jason! We're surrounded!" She shouted through the door. As the minutes passed, the faint moaning and groaning became louder, and louder. She didn't want to die, even though she knew she deserves it.
((Will Shadow make it? Sorry I had too! A lot of violence is about to go down!))

(( XD it's fine. And what time is it where you live? Don't you have school? I'm only online because I got a little sick :P ))
Shadow had cleared out the 4 floor of the building she was it. Blood was everywhere and the whole place stunk. She noticed most of the Walkers going in the direction she came from. At first she paid no attention to it but when they ALL started going that way she thought Deak and the others were looking for her. "God, those idiots!" She exclaimed to herself. Just then there was a small cry. "H-Hello..?" She heard a child's voice cry. Shadow thought she was hearing things. She was at the lobby when it happened again and she checked behind the desk. "Anyone there? Show yourself!" Shadow growled. Then a girl that looked to be about 6 came out, afraid. "Please don't hurt me! I-I want to see my mommy!" She cried. Shadow's eyes went large, " Um, it's ok kid.. Just come on out and I'll protect you.." Shadow cooed. Then the girl came out and Shadow took her by the hand, and ran outside. ------ The Walkers were surrounding the house when Shadow got close enough. She gasped a bit and put the child near a tree. "Ok, you need to climb up there. I promise ill come back for you after this ok?" Shadow reassured her. The little girl nodded her head and climbed up and waited for Shadow. Shadow grabbed her dagger and killed most of them. She was then cornered at the side of the house, "Deak? Jade, Jason!? I'm gonna need your help out here!" She called to them. As the Walkers tried to bite her, she stabbed them all with her dagger and waited for the others to come out.
Jason heard Shadows voice and the sound of Walkers banging against the walls. He gasped nd grabbed his cross-bow. "Guys come on!" He yelled to Jade and Deak as he ran outside and started shooting away.

((It's 5pm where I live, in Texas.))
Deak bolted up at the sound of Shadow's voice. He ran up stairs, stumbling upon a sniper. He ran up to the roof and looked through the scope. Six walkers surrounding Shadow, now on the ground, dead, for the second time. It gave Shadow enough space to start killing again. He gave a smirk down to Shadow. "Your welcome." He chuckled and continued to snipe the other walkers trying to get Shadow. "I got your back!" He shouted down to her.

Jade took out her samurai sword and began to chop the walker's head off. She swiftly maneuvered around the zombies. Her under average height giving her a strict advantage against the tall and heavy monstrosities. There was only a slight smile on her face as she demolished these horrible monsters.

(( Oh ok XP I'm in California so it's like barely 3:25 here. Texas is my home-state though ^^ ))
Shadow smiled when Deak said he got her back. "Thanks buddy.." She said quietly. Shadow then looked back to the little girl who was watching the whole thing in horror. Poor thing. She said she wanted her mother, but Shadow didn't think she would be seeing her anytime soon. Jason then hit the last few with his arrows. He then ran to Shadow and embraced her. "God, I thought you'd be dead!" He said, his eyes almost filled with tears. "You know I can mangage.." Shadow laughed a bit. Shadow then looked back at the girl. "You guys stay here for a second, I have to show you something." Shadow said to all of them and ran back to the tree where the girl was, and grabbed her hand. "This is, Mary. Found her at a place I was clearing out. Her name sounds familiar huh Deak?" Shadow said, a small smile on her face.
(( I want Mary to be permanent, kinda like a Lee and Clementine thing. ^^ Also I decided to name her after Shadows old friend :3 ))
