I've got 20 credits that I'm never going to use because (1) The cheapest credits item is still 40 credits and (2) I can't buy more credits in order to use them.
I bought these credits with TU. And if I remember correctly, the conversion rate was 100k/1 credit.
And considering my bank right now, that's a lot of tu that I'm not going to get back.
So I propose that we can be allowed to "sell back" our credits--at the same conversion rate.
I would go a step further and suggest phasing out credits completely. What's the point since there are cash points now? I thought the point of credits was initially so there wasn't any exclusivity in the credit shop - you could purchase any items using cash or tu, without there being a direct cash-tu conversion. Now that there's cash points and certain items can only be bought using cash points, why not just do away with credits? Have the cash-exclusive items be available for only cash points, and the others available for cash points or tu. Then have a credit to tu conversion available for those stuck with credits. Unless I'm missing something, credits just really seem outdated and unecessary.
No they won't go to waste. I'm not sure what will happen, but one thing I do know is that forum avatars were supposed to have been placed for sale in the CS at about 5-15 CP each, so that is one possible way to spend. Maybe we can come up with other items to exchange for a low amount also.
