As I was moseying around the Credit Shop, I began to wish that I could gain some credits. My mother would never want me to send a letter or use her credit card to send money to Res because that's just how she is. I know there are probably plenty of other users out there who have the same problem. They have the cash, but can't get the credits.

Well, in Gamestop, I always see Xbox gift cards and stuff like that being displayed. When I went to buy some points the other day, I saw a Neopets gift card I thought, why couldn't Res have that? Well, I was thinking I should suggest Rescreatu gift cards.

They would be an easier way to get Credits through to kids who are unable to buy them with the already available transactions. They could be just like regular gift cards with the activation codes and everything. I know my family would buy them for me as gifts and I would certainly be buying from the CS a lot more. (That may be a bad thing for me xD)

The only thing that makes me feel foolish about making the thread is that I have no idea how gift cards like that are made. I don't know how much they would cost Res to make or how they would actually get out there. I thought it was worth a try to at least let it be known.

I believe this idea has been suggested before. 

It wouldn't be possible for Res to make this idea a reality right now, I don't think. It costs a lot of money to produce the cards, and it's very hard to get places like Walmart, gamestop, etc, to carry them. Res has spent a lot of money recently (I think pat even said they were spending more than they made from the CS shop) just on getting res into v3.

I'm sure this idea will be made a reality in the future, but I don't think it's possible right now. Res simply does not have a large enough cash-paying fanbase to make it so. :(

There are pre-paid credit cards that can be purchased. They contain NO personal info, they are just filled with the amount you asked for. If you wanted $20 on it, they will cost $20 plus a small fee for the card (usually about $3). And they can be used on any site that accepts credit cards. 

We'd love to offer currency cards in retail stores someday - but that day is a long way down the road.
