Maybe there should be new staff members specifically for creating instrumental music. Like specific theme songs for each planet, or a tune for every creatu with the option of being able to autoplay or not. Like one user could have the option to disable all music when viewing profiles, or a user can simply disable autoplay so that another user can just push play if they want to hear their music.

There'd be no risk of copyright as long as the staff is trusted and reliable. Plus it'd be pure Rescreatu-owned. :) 

Could be like a new module. As long as the server will be able to support it with minimal lag.

I always have to turn on the tv or radio on while browsing Res.

Then suddenly, "Hello, my name is Amber!"-advertisement attacks while i have full volume.

That creeps me out. o_O Musics plz. 

It seems like it may be really hard for staff to watch this. Then they would have to watch for songs with curse-words, implicit themes, foreign songs (you know someone would want an anime-song on their profile), and the list just goes on and on.

It does sound interesting, but I only support if it doesn't cause a great amount of burden on the staff and server, has specific restrictions, and has a way to disable it for the users who don't want to hear it.

Drocell has a point, but it be the users fault for adding them, but there could be staff members that are specifically assigned to checking profiles? maybe not? its only added ideas. Then again, there are some songs I listen too and I don't notice the cuss words the first time cause I'm used to it(mom and dad fight a lot, my friends parents also use verbal language)

I don't know if there are any plans to allow music to be embedded on profiles again.

I have seen it said that there will not be a Res-specific feature added to enable this, though. The reason the players were disabled was because a flaw in the code allowed unscrupulous users to steal your information and your account in some cases.

Staff is short-handed as it is...support staff usually stays that way; not many users stick with it - that's the reason rule-breaking music used to slip by..there just isn't enough time to do everything we do and constantly monitor profiles for content.  

The good news is though, you can fire up your own mp3 player or favorite radio station/streaming mp3 site and listen to your heart's content! =)

I do not like it when I am just random browsing the site and suddenly loud music starts to play :/. Scares me to death, just like Amber. Not to mention it would make profiles load slower. Putting up songs without the permission of the composer/singer is against the law anyways.

We once were able to use those Mixpod players, but I heard that smart users were able to hack into people's accounts with those.

Anyway, those JB fans are already annoying enough by barring us from getting to their Merchant shops or whatever by having a load of JB pics on their profiles, causing us to bounce up every few seconds. And I don't want to hear Baby when I'm in a good mood :B

Maybe there should be new staff members who can create music specifically for Rescreatu. xD I mean, why not? We have almost every form of art here (writing, drawing, etc).

Like a Liyure theme song, or a Relcore tune. Of course, that will be instrumental only and I won't expect fast development. I'm just hoping for some type of sounds someday. xD

I can just imagine the Liyure being, like. All majestic sounding with a little clever mischief. Or something.

But then, if you had like, ten Gondra. That tune would get boring pretty quick, no? Perhaps if there was a way to disable you being able to listen to it (Other than turning your sound off, lol)

The way it sounded to me was more like.. a Res soundtrack or something. o: Not like, jingles that play automatically on certain pages and force you to hear 'em, but more of optional songs that are inspired by stuff around Res and add to the fun and imagination. Maybe they could have their own page for listening or something, and an option to add a song to a petpage? /ideas

Ohwait, actually. Doesn't v3 support certain things being on every page? Maybe there could be a player that allows you to listen to these theoretical songs. Like they used to have on the Pokemon website. :D

Heck, if I was more musically-inclined I'd love to help with something like this. But I'm not, so. xD
