Well, I think that the next creatu you have to buy from the credit shop, could have some money put into donation. What I mean is, some money from buying the creatu's eggs could be put towards the Haiti appeal or a charity of your choice for a month or so. I think it would be a very kind contribution from Rescreatu and its owners and would win it some respect, and more importantly, saving lives. So what do you think, is it worth it?

I agree. I would spend more money on rescreatu if the gave maybe 5 dollars from every purchase depending on how much is bought to Haiti and the kids in africa. I was really sad when I head about the people in HAiti and I felt like I couldn't help. But Now I can :D

It really depends. The money from credits mainly go to keeping this site up, so really you should put the money for keeping it up as a higher priority.

well, i personally would rather help the haitians than keep this site up. But, i just had an idea! how about res has like a telethon sort of thing? users donate their tu to patrick, the main guy, and they send haiti $1 for every 500k?

Tu doesn't make up for the value of money... Pat can generate all the tu he wants, lol. A dollar is worth more. Personally I agree with Ping on this issue. Even if I really want to help the situation at hand, there are plenty of other ways that donations can be made. |

if you haven't noticed everybody in the world is helping haiti right now. res has its own problems to deal with right now. if you want to donate to haiti then donate, but i don't think that taking "5 dollars from every perchase" will benifit res at all. if we were to do something like this it would need to be by percent-say 1% of a credit perchase... don't get me wrong, the haitians need help, but i just don't know if donating through res would help very much.

if you'd rather help haiti recover, just donate money to the red cross or some other group of helpers in your area to help them.
this is rescreatu, the money here goes to maintaining the site.
besides, if res donated a portion of the money to haiti, people would buy more credits to help haiti as an act of sympathy. Unfortunately, there'll be some people who see it as a form of advertising and be angry at res for using poor innocent people who suffered an earthquake to earn money.

As Lut said, if you want to donate, go to some other charity. It's not like you can't dontate unless you do it through res.
