Leverene Revamp
Hey all! I'm your resident artist KiRAWRa, and I have an exciting batch of sketches to share with you today: the Leverene Revamp!
This creatu was one of the earliest graphics I originally made for Res, way back in 2010. This makes the current Leverene 12 years old, wow! What do you think of this new look for the Leverene? Comments are welcome on this thread!
To answer a few questions upfront, here's some extra info: Q: Why give the Leverene a revamp?A: Many older creatu graphics are going through what the art team calls an "optimization". These older graphics might be too small, messy, or outdated to work with effectively. Most creatu only need small touch-ups, but some creatu (like Leverene) need a bit more attention to correct for style, anatomy and shading, so it gets to be completely redrawn. Q: Why is the new baby pose so different?A: Concerned commenters brought to my attention that it is dangerous for baby bunnies to lay on their backs. Hopefully this new pose eases the minds of Leverene owners everywhere! Q: Are these the final images?A: No, these are sketches. We would like to hear what the community thinks, in case there are any issues that need to be fixed.

I'm really glad to see Leverene is getting an update. It's always been one of my favorite designs! Maybe the baby could be a design inspired by one of the earlier designs? The elegance and tranquility in the earlier designs is so gentle and precious. |

I think the eyes look much less creepy, the tendrils look better, and I am enjoy the less lanky design. It's much cuter and compact.

I'm going to miss the baby pose, but I understand why the change is being made. I wish the pose change didn't remove the way the neck ruff looks kind of like a heart or the way the paws are tucked in, though. Those traits are really cute and made the baby pose my favorite of the three.

I love the new lines overall, but honestly, much prefer the original pose for the baby. It's just cuter in my opinion. The new one looks a little stiff. Maybe instead of laying on it's back, it could be sitting on its hind legs?

I love the new pose so much -- the current baby has always made my teeth itch because like you said, Kirara, rabbits are supposed to never ever be put on their back its SO BAD for them

I feel the baby should look a bit more relaxed it does seem a bit stiff. Overall love the change though.

I am in love!! The current design is really adorable but I have always been interested to see the Leverene with a more bunny-like facial structure. This looks wonderful, Kirara.

I love this idea! :) I also really love the new revamped Leverene in almost all aspects, the baby stage does look a bit stiff, maybe it can be fixed with the front paws being held closer to it's chest? Right now they look extended out in front of itself instead of relaxed. But otherwise I love the new art it looks adorable!
