One last thought - if there were a checklist of actions it would be a great way to familiarize new users with the site and inform them in a rewarding way of what they can/should do around the site to build up their account. :) |

So I really, really love this feature - I think it has a lot of potential! I feel like it's rather unclear what the intention of it is, though. When I think 'daily reward' I expect something like a thank-you for just being on the site, like a login bonus, or something that doesn't require such a large amount of effort and guess work. Really I wouldn't be oppose to the effort required if I could clearly see what actions I needed to take. I'm certain there will be user-created lists of actions in time, so I'm not sure why the site wouldn't provide us with a list to begin with. As it stands I still have not made it to the final reward and I don't expect I'll be trying it again in its current state, so it doesn't entice me to hop on the site daily. New users (who could benefit most from this feature) won't be able to figure out what to do without someone giving them a list anyway. Also, the site will only benefit from more users having that 4th hatch so it doesn't seem like we need to make it that hard to obtain, in my opinion. Otherwise I think it's a great feature, and would be fun to see it have some extra bonuses during seasonal events (like a seasonal egg or exclusive items)! Just making it more user friendly would go a long way towards making it something I'd actually do on a daily basis, especially since none of these prizes would radically impact the economy in a negative way if all active users received them daily. :) <3 Really love seeing stuff like this added! |

I did this by topping up my apparent 68 % daily routine points and ended up with 20 naff food items when I wanted the 1 million token. No alert received. No indication if you are meant to select item or what to do to get the correct item reward. Not really interested in sitting here all morning to get past food stuff. Certainly not starting again from 37 % today. |

I appreciate the constructive criticism provided below. As you all know, features like this often require some tweaking after the fact. I think it is obvious at this point that it was too difficult. As such, I've just made a handful of adjustments that should make this more achievable. We'll continue to monitor completion rates and make adjustments as needed. We'll consider adjustments to the rewards as we go too.
For those who want to know exactly how this works, all I would say is that the intention of this feature is for it to be an added bonus, not to be something that everyone can complete each day. In fact, we certainly do not want everyone to be able to complete all three rewards each day. If this ever becomes the case then I'll know we've made it too easy. Additionally, this is not meant to be a significant wealth building feature. All we wanted to do is reward people a little bit for actively playing the game :)
I really don't think of this as "secrecy" or "lack of transparency". It's definitely possible I could have better communicated things though :) It's a simple concept - game play activities will earn you progress towards the next daily reward. Playing games, doing quests, hatching pets, etc. Most generalized actions that contribute towards building your account and helping with the game economy.

Cost of 20 random food items: less than 2k.
Fastest reliable way to 1M: squishy quest will get you an average of 10M per day, single levels sometimes give over 1M.
Cost of an extra hatch: 100k average. So we're getting zero clues, things may or may not be working as intended, and the value of all THREE prizes together is under 1.5M. Not worth the headache as is now. It has serious potential though. |

Seconding what Wolfspi commented. Secrecy and lack of transparency has never served this site well, not sure why it is still being done. At this point, this new feature, it's frustrating. Zero progress is given for playing quests, stocking your shops, stocking or removing from showroom, using "feed pets now" from the food pen, visiting blogs and forums, depositing or withdrawing form the bank, sending rmail, receiving rmail...I've only found that buying in NPC shops gives progress - and then you have two players speed-shopping all the shops to get points, while the other two are cleaning out shops in prep for events, leaving the rest of us twiddling our thumbs. I have done all the things listed above that give no progress. Oh there's also zero progress for naming a pet, but you do get a tiny bit for hatching one. Collections by far give the most point reward, but when you've filled 90% of everything before daily rewards were released, there's no credit for you. I've played, actively, since 8:30 this morning. It's 11:10 now. I'm at 44% and there's nothing left to do but buy NPC stuff I do not need. |

Soooo....all that time spent on here doing "things" was really a waste? I should have known that all progress would be wiped out at midnight............now I know. I know Miss Complainy over here, but sometimes I wish things were spelled out for lil ole me a bit better |

I'm not sure why we need to obfuscate what is required for a reward. I feel like having a checklist would make it almost more likely for me to interact with things. For example, I had hatched, done the springs, done all the games, explored the forest, picked something up from the trash, and several other things yesterday and was only at 49%. Today I've done maybe a few less things (definitely all the things I've listed specifically though) but I'm at 29% and I don't know exactly what I've done differently. |

Aria, it resets each day. That is most likely why you went from 80% to 4%. |

You will also be notified via an alert when you've reached a new reward. I was not notified. I was at like 80% and all of a sudden I am at 4%

Love daily rewards! I already had enough trouble remembering to do the springs daily and dropping to zero always stressed me out, so having something auto count towards a reward, no matter how small, is nice :) |
