My sister was like 5'4 when she was 10. She was a giant. XD
 
 My 3 cousins who are 11 are around 5'4. XD

 Yea, I have a friend who was 5'2"-5'4" when she was 11 too. She is now like...5'7" and she is only 12.

Thats because back then 10-13 years old 5'4" was short.
But now its different because these generations of 10-13 year olds are so....so short, like I noticed when I was in 9th grade the 7th graders were as tall to my eyes, 10th grade the 7th graders were at my chest, 11th grade the 7th graders were bout 2/3 inches above my belly button, und when I became a Senior....I swear the 7th graders looked like K to 3rd graders, they were to my hips. O__o
