Before v3, I set up a trade with a person, i got there nice pet and they got my pet, but it was only a temporary trade. They had advertised to read your pets books then give them back.
I haven't gotten mine back for three weeks. I wrote them, found there advertisement and bumped it so often. Then I found a recent post yesterday of so, but still no answer.
Should I keep waiting?
My pet is dying on their profile
would this mean that there pet is now mine and I can do whatever I want with it?
my pet was amber and a cs pet, theirs was a lime and cs pet.
I'm not naming names thou to keep that much fair, but i needed opinions on what i should do in this situation

i think you should tell staff. maybe they can get it out! tell me the person.

If they couldn't get it out, they would have told staff or contacted me in some way. I think this person may have other peoples pet too

I think you should offer them to trade their pet back for your pet but Im not sure the person would accept because they might have given you a pet they dont really care about. :/

Sadly, pet trades are being recoded. D: If they were working, I'd say set the offer.
I think this is a matter you need to talk to with Staff about. Anything where a user takes your pets in order to take care of them, train them, improve them, or whatever is a possible scam.
Even if they gave you a pet that might SEEM of equal value, people value things differently.
Staff should be able to help, so I suggest talking to one of them about this.

I'll try the trade and see where it goes, and I think I was scammed...I'll see if I can talk to the other users who did the same thing and see if they were scammed too

maybe the person left Res and just forgot, you could try getting in contact with there friends and asking them what happened or if they know when the person holding your pet will be back? i suck at advice sorry!! :( good luck and i hope you get your pet back soon!

I've rmailed them many times no answer, I've wrote on there active forums, but nothing, I think they stole from me...

I just don't know, Sometimes when you send a ticket you get a warning if its not worth the time and other stuff. I don't like getting warned, hate to get banned

O_o I've never had that happen to me on Res. If you're afraid of sending in a support ticket, PM a staff member you trust like 14brokenmirrors or Fizzeh (Forget her full user name). It's their job to handle stuff like this and if you think you've been stolen from, its their job to get things settled.
