So once they are painted can you still hatch them ?

Does it affect what could be hatched ?

yes, you can still hatch them, but no it shouldn't affect what could be hatched ^^

Actually, you can't hatch them at all. Once painted they are unable to be hatched.

They are right in saying that Egg Painting Kits are used to paint your normal eggs to turn them in to wonderful looking items. Since they are now items, you won't be able to hatch them. These painted eggs were recently used in an Easter Quest in exchange for points to be able to buy certain items in the Prize Shop. They are also used for collections.
