...Honestly, first thing I thought of was a fallen star. Maybe it has something to do with new drop down menus on the pop-up boxes when you click certain pets?

Sounds like a new galactic/cosmic pet colour though i'm not too sure. Maybe we might be able to access Uldavi? :o

hummm im guessing some new cosmic colouration or effect?
or may be even the proposed idea for the "res colour theme" ( the bluey pets above the rescreatu signature?). although looking at that swirl thing it seems unlikely
it could be obtained from the Kir quest? like synthetic magic? where you get it randomly as you progress in the quest and you need a certain amount of dust to change a pet.
and you could use the dust as ammo for a new zappy gun thinggy available from kirs shop hummmm

This reminds me of War of the Worlds, where the aliens come and zap people away.
But, this is Kir, zapping pets into dust. Like, a cremation type thing.
Kir is zapping our pets and turning them into dust. ;-; |

Maybe the new Kir is going to leave and the old Kir returns with a new cosmic themed creatu.
Because he did say that he had to go find and do stuff with a new creatu.
OR, the current Kir is going to offer a new type of creatu.

Fizzeh said it was big. Bigger than a new pet so that itself is sort of ruled out... on its own anyway. I am guessing, bigger than just a new coloration as well.
I vote for a new planet or the opening of Uldavi. Something big.

but the reason i said "effect" was this, ( it could have absolutely nothing to do with this and be for another upcoming development but i thought it was interesting)
it only comes up for adult pets

I would like to say maybe an item like a RMP that can morph your pet into another new type of pet. Or an effect that is random? If you use the item it's sort of like a bean?

I think it might be a new item. When you use it you get a random Egg/Pet so when you use it its kind of a gamble because it could be as great as a Trance Omni or as plain as a Natural Otachie. (well maybe not that extreme, but you get the picture ^w^) Maybe items are even included in there somewhere....
