Dye Kits were still relatively new when the quest first started. People weren't used to the prices and the point was to clear up ancient creatu from you know who knows when, not to clear new, freshly dyed ones. o3o
At least that's what Lut thinks. It /would/ be nice for him to ask for dyed ones now though, considering how difficult it is to sell dyed creatus these days.

@lut ~ I was kind of thinking that. >_>; I have a few dyed pets that I wish would go up in value. At /least/ up to what I paid for the dye kit and the pet. XD And since naturals and sepias are so much cheaper than a dye kit ... well. o__o/ That's an interesting time line point, though, with dyes being added shortly before the pet quest.
@bow ~ curious why you think mutants or quelis wouldn't be added? A forum post somewhere by staff that I've never seen? oAo
lol, on a side note, I get that the pet quest is meant to keep pets rare, but I wish it would burn up more of my silly common pets and quit alternating between blonde seasonals and calico rares. >8|
