Okay Once I got up to 39 smeargle and then it broke, I was so pissed off XD I think my highest is 53 or so....and that was the vulpix chain

A chain is where you use the pokeradar to detect pokemon. Once you find the pokemon you want to chain (chaining gives you a higher chance of finding a shiny, it maxes out at about 40) defeat it. Then there's a bunch of other stuff that plays into it, but eventually, as long as you keep defeating the same pokemon, you might get lucky and find a shiny. I think it increases the chances from like 1/8000 something, to 1/200, but I'm not entirely sure.

Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, the games after that don't have the pokerader unfortunately. Though they did raise the odds of hatching a Mesuda method pokemon in black and white

When you breed pokemon from two different regions, say a japanese and american pokemon together, it is MUCH more likely you will hatch a shiny pokemon.

After you beat Driftveil's leader Ipets? 'Cause yeah, you're right,you have to go through Chargestone and beat team Plasma. At the end of the cave you've gotta have a battle with N too.

I hate caves! it seems like I can't walk a step without a pokemon appearing. really annoying.

Yeah I just beat Driftveil's leader with 1 pokemon! (By the way my Dewott is a Samurott now)
I hate caves too. But I gotta do it.

I'm about to enter a cave to start my journey back to Route 4.
grrr, but soon, I shall meet Reshiram and become one with the Great Vast White Pokemon!!!! :D

I like Reshiram a lot better than Zekrom. :) I may like the color black, but Reshiram is just reallly cool.

I don't know about pokemon Grey, but White2 and Black2 have been confirmed. I like both Reshiram and Zekrom, but I went with White because I wanted to be able to get my hands on a rufflet, because Braviary is one of my favorite pokemon.

nice. :3 I chose Black Version cuz I like Reshiram. I didn't know what pokemon I was able to get on that game, but so far I'm enjoying it! When I finish the game, I might restart it and pick a Snivy this time.

Yeah, I've found snivy to be a very entertaining starter. Out of all the pokemon out there, its got to have one of the best personalities, or at least seems like it has one. It makes it fun to play through with, yet it's both powerful and fast too.
I prefer it to Oshawott, although I've played through with both. Grass types usually level up a little faster too. |
