Melanie gave one last look at him, sighed, and then headed for the dorms. That was probably one of the best in-school parties she had ever attended. She climbed up the stairs to the Girls' Dormitories, and plopped down into her bed, pretty tired. At least she could be tired again.

Many of the girls got up and headed for Stefan's room, and some of the loners and nerds stayed where they were, trying to sleep. Melanie took Damon's hand and walked out of the Dorm with him.
