Duke was standing on a hill side, looking down at something. It was deer all by itself. Then he look to his pack.

Duke:Ok. I have spoted A deer. I need someone to see how it is and maybe why its all alone.

"Ill go check it out",Blu said. Creaping upon the deer, Blu thought about Aero.

'Me and Aero have been friends for awhile. I think I should talk to her about something.'

Blu heard the howl and quickly got up, making the deer look her way and run. Blu slowly turned around and saw the deer make a run for it.

"Aero",Blu called from a distance,"we got a deer on the run."Chasing the deer the deer slowed and looked Blu right in the eyes.

In the cover of a large oak's shadow, Kain watched the pack of younger wolves with narrowed eyes that almost seemed to glow white because of how light they were in color. He sat motionless and regal, the posture of a true fearless warrior. His thick dark fur moved with the slight breeze that seemed to go by every now and then, like shaggy moss on a stone statue. A slight twitch of his nose and the constant flicking of his ears were the only movements that the alert wolf made, always checking for the slightest threatening sounds or smells. Kain would remain this way until either the pack decided to move or they were in danger.

He stared at the younger wolf, debating inwardly if leaving his post for a short time would leave the pack wide open for danger. After a moment, he gave a short nod, deciding that a few minutes would be alright as long as he kept his senses alert. He stood, almost towering over Blu, and silently trotted towards where Aero was holding down the deer. As he came closer, Kain became impressed with the two younger wolves. The deer was massive and full of life. This was the kind of prey that would take a full on assault from a whole pack to bring down, and here these two held it by themselves. After he was close enough to the deer's head, he swiftly lunged and sank his enormous fangs into its thick muscled neck and in a quick motion jerked upward until he heard a distinct "snap". After the deer became limp and motionless, he let go and headed back to his shadowed spot without a word uttered.

"Thanks Kain",Blu said,ripping into the deer's pelt.The pelt was soft as moss, so as a reward to Kain, Blu decided to give the pelt to Kain.Carefully,Blu dragged the pelt to Kain and put it in from of him.

"I think you deserve this",Blu said kindly,walking back to the deer that was only meat and bone.

Kain stared down the the pelt that was layed before him and then looked up in time to see Blu walking back to the freshly killed deer. He was not expecting anything in return for helping with their prey, and he was fine with that because more food meant a healthier and stonger pack. So, the gift of the pelt came to the dark colored wolf as a bit of a shock. But, he was not ungrateful. As he carefully folded the pelt into a neat and manageable square with his nose, he decided that he would find a way to repay Blu's kindness.

Hey, Blu! She shouted not embarrsed at all while Duke blushed and ran into his cave that he shared with Mazzy. Hi Mazzy shouted Blu back. Want some food? Blu asked. No thx I have already eaten she said. I should probally go back to Duke sort him out. Ok, blu said.
