Alla nudged Nala. "See," she said soothingly. "You won't ever be banished." Alla lay down next to little Nala. "Why would we banish brave, fierce warriors?" She smiled.

Fall let a tiny growl rumble in his throat as Nala looked as if she was going to nip his nose. "Don't go running away, or you'll be worse than the others, and I know you're better than that." He murmured to her and backed away from the hole, turning to the forest to leave. He hadn't let the others in the pack know that he himself was planning on leaving, but then, that wouldn't do much for Nala.

Nala watched as the elders left and Shadow and Ashe tried to comfort her. She paid no attention to any of it. She knew it was all a lie. Being a 'brave' pup. No, Nala had always been afraid of them, always had been since the first day she was welcomed into the pack and they all picked on her for being so small. She watched Fall walk away, was he mad? Nala could tell he was that kind of wolf, always leaving. I wonder if I'll turn out like that. Fall told me I shouldnt but is he wrong? She wondered. Nala then crawled out from under the rock and shook her pelt. "Fall, where are you going?" she asked innocently with her head tilted to the side.

Fall spun around at the two questions. "I'm going to hunt. You guys seemed to do fine without me and I missed out." He said, a small smile rippling on his muzzle. "You wanna come Nala?" He asked, not thinking about running away any more. That could wait, maybe until tonight. He began to head for the forest again, his tail slowly wagging.

Nala wagged her tail excitedly and forgot about everything else. "Yea!" she then ran alongside Fall. "So where are we going?" she asked, her tail still wagging.

"Well, I was think ping some where there is deer? What do ya thnk?" He asked glad to take her mind off things. Fall trotted along and soon picked up the scent of a female deer.

Nala nodded her head in agreement and ran ahead of Fall. She smelled a deer but paid attention to a squirell on the ground. Nala chased after it barking but the squirell was surprisingly faster. She forgot about Fall and the others but kept running. "Get over here squirelly!" she shouted to it as if it understood her.

Alla watched the happy pair of wolves. Seeing that she wasn't wanted, nor needed, she slowly began to make her way back to the pack, one paw at a time. She noticed the sky had begun to turn an ominous gray and it cast a dreary mood, at least for her. Alla guessed she needed to have some time to think over things, and planned to be alone for a while once she returned.

(I'm back.)
Shadow watched everyone leave and soon walked in the direction of a cliff that was far from the hunting grounds and the pack's territory. It was closer to the other pack's territory,but still out of it. When she reached it she saw the clouds and remembered that sometimes that meant snow. Snow also meant less food,winter and,some times,hunters. A warning howl escaped her throat and traveled to the ears of many things for miles. Before she could stop herself she heard footsteps of something that wasn't a wolf and turned,quickly,around.

The squirell ran away before Nala could get it and she looked back at Fall. She seemed to be very far away from him and just shrugged and kept walking. It looked beautiful in the forest, escpecialky with the snow covering the ground. Up ahead she saw a weird, pale creature. Definatley not a wolf. Nala approached it quietly thinking it was a prey. She soon pounced on the creature but it only looked down at her. "Arent you a cute pup?" it said and carried her in its arms. The creature then continued tickling her belly and laughing. Nala licked her nose and let out a cheerful bark. The creature then set Nala down and gave her a piece of meat. Nala took it and ran off towards Fall. "Fall, look! The creature gave me a piece of meat!" she exclaimed and set the meat on the ground in front of Fall, showing him.

Shadow heard something speak and at the same time the scent came to her. "Human!",she barked and ran towards the trees. Noticing it was a bad move she bumped into the legs of the human before she could stop. It turned around and saw the,now growling,wolf near it. "I found one!",it called and then pointed its gun at Shadow.

Fall sniffed the meat and scowled. "Can you show me it?" He asked, cocking his head. He was in a very good mind to snarl and bite whatever-the-creature-was's paw off. He looked as fierce as possible, but then he softened his gaze, becoming what one of the pale things watching laughed and shreaked "Cute"

Nala shook her head and walked over where she saw the creature. "She was just here a second ago." she said, noticing it left. The same creature soon came back and gasped. "M-Mary, theres another one, a BIG one." she called to another creature. The creature called "Mary" came and smiled sweetly at the teo of them. "Hey there pup." she said. Though she was acreful not to get to close to Fall." Whosyour big friend here?" she asked Nala gesturing to Fall

Shadow watched the human and growled even more. It shot off his gun and it echoed through the air. A yelp came from Shadow as she was hit in the side. She leaped towards its face and the gun fell from its hands. She latched on to its face and bit down as she started to shake her head.

Fall licked this Mary's paw, before hearing Shadows cry. "Shadow?!" He barked, his ears pricking right up. "Stay hear Nala, please?" He asked, as he ran off in the direction of the shot, and Shadows scent. Finding her quickly, latched onto one pale things maw.

When the human went limp Shadow finally let go and raised her head to see Fall. She hadn't noticed that she was bleeding when she walked over to Fall,a trail of blood behind her,and felt a bit tired. Soon as she reached him her vision went fuzzy and she fell to his feet with a faint whimper as it all went black.

Nala did as she was told and stayed put. On the other hand the two creatures gasped and ran towards the sound. Nala tried hard to stay still, but all the excitement wasnt helping. Then, before she took off, something grabbed her around the waist. Nala thought it was the two creatures but it was a different one. "Good puppy. You'll make me some nice cash." he said evily. Nala whimpered and cried out but shem doubted they could hear her. She was then thrown into a cage and couldnt free herself.

Fall was torn. He had to help his alpha, but he heard Nala's cry. He whimpered and licked Shadows muzzle. Then, using his head, he shrugged her onto her shoulders, running towards Nala as well.

The big moster her cage was resting on started moving. "Help! Fall!" she cried and pawed at the cage door. The creature banged on the caged and screamed, "Shut your yapping!". Nala noticed the cage door a bit open and tried biting it. Soon it was wide open but the giant monster was moving fast. Nala took the risk and jumped. She then safely landed on a small area of marsh and saw Shadow and Fall. "Guys!" she exclaimed and ran towatds them.
