As Shade walked in the lights got dimer and dimer until it was black and she couldnt see very well. She then stepped on glass which made some blood come out "Ow!" Shade exclaimed. "I stepped on a piece of glass! Lets go back outside where theres still light. " she said limping of her paw

"yes, thank you very much. and when we get back to light im going back to the other cats. i hate it here." Josh shouted. he sounded very scared in which he probably was. he sawa piece of glass right where he was going to step, so he placed his paw next to it then carried on walking.

Shade saw Josh's frightened face, he DID hate it here, but he was so used to humans of course he would be. "And dont tell Shadow and Manx ANYTHING. Then they're gonna give me some type of lecture and 'forbid' me from comming here. Like they're my parents!" Shade said warning Josh. "And if you do so help me you'll never see those glasses again!" Shade threatened

"fine. i just want out!" josh padded forward and came to the cave entrance. he stepped on a piece of glass as he was not looking where he was stepping. "ow!" he shouted in pain. he pulled it out and ran off, leaving a trail of blood. he went back round the main street and hopped to shadow and manx's alley. "help! she is going to take my glasses!"

Shade hissed as he ran off "You cowad!!" she yelled after him. Shade then clenched her teeth and pulled the glass out without hesitating (( ouch ive done that before :T)) She then ran into the cave and saw them all just watching her. Shade then looked down at her bloody paw and licked it "Just a little accident.." Shade said

Shadow smiled and nodded. Then saw Shade wak in with Josh. "What happened to your paw?",she asked and quickly walked over to her. She then tilted her head and looked at the bleeding paw of the kitten.

Shade pulled away from Shadow thinking of what to say. "We were just in the street and- we stepped on an old broken bottle thats all.." Shade said as she licked it. She had already gotten the glass out but it kept bleeding and she obviously couldnt keep licking it forever

"Um hey Shadow have you ever.. had a kit before?" Shade asked. She was anxious to know who her mother was but she doubted it was her. Shade knew her mother was dead already but there could have been possibilities that she wasnt
