OOC:  I hate it when people comment how inventive your plot is and how much they adore it, but leave almost instantly the story itself begins. ;/ It's almost like "Oh WOW I gotta join this roleplay! 8D It's amazing, omg the thread owner's so awesome, I think- ahh nevermind. Can't be bothered. :x" But the Sue roleplay was the worst. A number of users I respected joined, all cool-headed and professional, but never actually made a story post. Worst of all some people posted bios simply for the sake of it, literally: "I'm not gonna join but I wanna make a bio anyway~" That offended me so much. They were taking advantage of a roleplay thread simply to make a spoof character that they'd never even use. The thread itself was a parody, but I was hoping people who had a sliver of sense would join it.
 I'm cool with anythin'. :3
Yeh. Almost every roleplay I make never lasts. xD I don't know whether to take that as a hint and simply give up or keep trying for good stories. I don't actually create plots, just themes. Still... they didn't give my joke Sue roleplay a chance. ;c I wanna make a thread sometime, but I just know it won't last. x3
Yus. Grave-diggin' (kentracha claws might come in handee ;o), a kidnap, but violence must come in somewhere. That's where Vash's arm could get blown off, rite? 8D

OoC: *spammerkick* ;( gthoplz. You're never gonna get clicks that way. It's rude. There is a reason they made a stickied click thread in the Off Topic board.
... I really should stop being so lazy. Haven't posted in more than a week.. I could at least have Knives do something.
Edits later.

OoC: Wolfeh has Faisbook? O: Dood, add meee. xD I'se Yoshi Lisk. Hurr.
And I'm sure you'll get back on your feets soon, Mouseh. Sounds like you're just stuck in a bit of a block. o:
Now. I need to actually buckle down and WRITE. I've had the same two paragraphs done for like, a week now. And then they died because my computer fell off my bed and lost its battery last night. But still. xD That just means I should work even harder at it.

OoC: Ohlard. I knew there was a reason I loved old-school Pokemanz. xD I just watched Pokemon 2000 for the first time in prob'ly two years, and lard. It was amazing. The whole thing was just.. chock-full of little hilarious jokes I hadn't gotten before. Cracks about gender, fourth wall breakage, amazingly idiotic Team Rocket moments.. I'm still having igglefits about it.
Now I wonder what a lumbago is though. Too bad I can't look it up at the moment. x3 It's two-twenty; no Internets for four more hours.
But at least I'm actually writiiiing. |D And surprisingly, I managed to remember basically how those two paragraphs went.

Knives didn't miss the word that hovered silently on the shifter's lips - an echo of his own careless reference to Ces. His eyes showed a sort of subtle concern, like somehow it was more important than it seemed. But how could that, of all things, be something to get worked up over? It seemed the most obvious of ways to describe Ces; she was always using her canine form, and she had even been replaced by a wolf when she died. Anyone could tell she was a wolf more than anything else. Was it really all that important?

Again, he chose the low route and didn't ask. Even if he had come out her on curiosity, it would be better to leave these little questions unanswered. Knives wanted to keep things going smoothly, especially since this pair could apparently take the dog out of the picture. He pretty damn well wanted that to happen, so cooperating with them would be no sacrifice to him. Besides, it probably wouldn't matter much longer; if things went well, he wouldn't have to see Ces again. A nice thought.

And then his steamer train of thought instantly crashed, as he felt a hand take and shake (or shake and bake~ |D Mmm, breaded hand.) his own. Just once, and very abruptly. Either the stranger was trying for a sense of professionality, or he didn't feel very comfortable with the touch and wanted to end it as quickly as possible. The Plant guessed it was the second one. Still, he smiled - it was a confident, victorious sort of smile. And it only grew with the questions that seemed like they should be obvious.

"What I want is exactly what you want," he replied. "For you to whisk her away to wherever you're going. Nothing more. And omg bb, you should know you're the someone special in my life~" He tried to make his smile look a little more genuine. "I guess now that we'll be working together, it would be silly to keep being so cryptic.."

"You can call me Knives."

(Such a surprising name, amirite 'Rello ye currently-nameless deerfais? 8D
Whee. I started out all serious-like, and by the end of the post I got all stupid. xD
... So that's what a lumbago is. Hurr, I get ittt. He could have been all, 'Ow my back,' but nope. He was all, 'Ow my lumbago.')

OoC: Rararar. Bump.
... I kinda had a music-listening fail today. xD I was listening to a pretty quiet song and had the volume all the way up. Almost instantly I went and forgot I had it so high. So, instead of turning it down again when the song ended, like I would have if I'd remembered, I let it go right on to the next song.
And, of course, it had to be a loud one. Smooth Criminal, Alien Ant Farm version. First thing I hear is this extremely loud 'BOW!' I ended up shrieking about it and almost jumping up from my chair. The dood who sits next to me in that cla-ss poked fun at me for it for prob'ly the next ten minutes. x3 He loves the weirdy noises I make sometimes, so the sudden squawk was just loads of fun for him.

*edits* Also. D; I'm kind of devastated right now. They ruined the ACS - stuck a search limit on it. Now I'll never be able to find names again.

Poppy stared at Wolfwood, watching his every move and twitch. “Where are we going?” She asked. Should I tell them about my powers? She thought, but then thought better of it. These were probably normal (ish ;o) people that just hang around here. But she didn’t want to be the only one who knew, and she wouldn’t be able to shift when they’re around.

Later. She told herself. You can tell them later.

OoC: Oh my. Worst post ever Dx I just wanted to get something written so you weren't waiting, Yoshi <3

OoC: Ah, sorry for takin' so long. x3 Distractions, distractions..
Homg. Dood. It feels so weirdy to be sitting at home on a Monday morning. I feel like I should be tackling someone right now.
Oh, oh, and I bought the Creatu named V. x3 Makes me happy. And makes me wanna watch V for Vendetta..

The question caught Wolfwood a little off-guard, actually. He'd expected something more concerned - or at least not quite so nonchalant. But maybe he should have expected it. The way Starlett looked, it wouldn't have been surprising if she was stuck with a crowd just as bad as they were. It was pretty hard to imagine her ever hurting anything though; she definitely looked like the most innocent thing he'd met since he was a kid.

"Uh.." The priest couldn't really think of much of an answer. "Well.. We could go to the December orphanage like I mentioned, if you want to. It's a nice place - safe most of the time, 'long as there aren't any desert rats stupid or desperate enough to try and hold the place up. Damn outlaws.." He noticed Vash frown a little and raise a finger, like a kid pouting to defend himself. "Yeah, yeah. Save it, Mister Outlaw," Wolfwood interrupted. "I'm just generalising here. Don't get your coat all up in a wad."

"Anyway," he growled, turning his eyes back to Starlett's dirty face. But maybe his voice was too harsh. Sometimes he just couldn't keep it from turning to gunshots at that cactus-headed idiot. "Anyway.." Wolfwood tried again, a little softer this time. "Your choice, but it will probably be a while from now, if you do wanna go. December's three provinces away from here. No telling how long it'll take, especially with so many of us. There's no way we're all fitting on Angelina. It's hard enough just traveling with that donut-freak in the sidecar. The idiot can't even take a turn driving once in a while."

Vash looked a little offended. "Well come on, you know I can't drive motorcycles. It's one of those things I'll never get. Like riding a thomas. I've tried and tried before, but they just don't like me."

"Ugh, fine. Were you two going anywhere in particular? Know someplace we could go in the meantime?"

"Uhm.. Not really, no. I don't think we had any plans.. Oh!" The Plant looked like he'd suddenly had the greatest idea in the world. "I do know a pretty good place. If we can find the Doctor, he can let us in. And then we won't have to ride that junky heap of yours or walk."

(Whee. Kinda really bickery, but it's hard not to make it that way, with those two right next to each other. xD I tried to stay on topic thouuuugh.)
