Ohlook! Random roleplay! 8Y
I know, I know, it sounds like a roleplay where you just make a silly nonsense character and mess around. Not quite.
Our ti[injection]tle is what it is because, for one, we have no set plot and just pretty much make things up as we go along, and for two, you can be any character no matter where he or she originated. Your own head, book, videogame, cartoon, you name it.
I know it might not sound too random to those of you who still keep up with the roleplaying board and have all these newfangled ideas about how roleplays work, but hey. It seemed random back when we started.
Anyway. This whole thing was started by one HappyBunny in May 2008. Since then a few people have joined and more people have left, but we're still goin'. 8Y For a long time we had a trio, but since Nias left Res, now it's just me and Wolfeh. Sometimes people ask to join but.. well, usually they never end up posting again. xD I have a feeling my habit of not posting for weeks at a time is the biggest turnoff.

I guess first thing there is to post the previous threads, from before we had pages in order to make looking at so many posts a little less ridiculous. I'm sure, no one is probably ever going to read through all this drivel. xD We were horrible rolepla[injection]yers, we're very aware. But if I'm gonna have a good summary I just have to include the long version too.

There are a few more after this one too, but just plain copy/pasting from the old Forum left all the posts with these messy headers above them. So I have to clean 'em up and it takes forever and I really don't feel like doing it. |D So yah. You just get the beginning for now.
'Kay, now. Actual summary. I think I'll try doing this a little more organised than I have in the past. Categories and whatnot.
Settings.
The current setting is Gunsmoke, a harsh desert planet with a very western feel about it. In this place, having a gun and being decently skilled with it are essential to not dying. And even then you might still wind up dead anyway. Also everything is powered by feathery but humanoid creatures kept in giant lightbulbs, called Plants.
The previous (and first) setting was a skyscraper-filled city on an Earth-like planet. That's.. basically all I can think to say about it. xD We really never decided where the heck this city was, exactly. Might have actually been on Earth. Might have been on.. whatever planet those Final Fantasy VII dudes were from. It was just a faceless scene for a lot of silly hijinks and.. poor attempts on my part at conveying deep emotion. Its story only goes as far as the roleplay's did with it.
In the near future we will probably go to Theslern. I don't know much about Theslern as it currently is yet so I'll just leave it as a mention. P:
Characters.

Vash, Knives, Wolfwood.
Occasionally a few of Knives' henchmen.
Yes, I am a master of creative genius. I roleplay a bunch of characters that not only aren't mine, but they all come from the same show. Blame the shameless fangirl I was four years ago. :Y
Vash and Knives are brothers - twins, in fact. They're sort of special Plants that look like regular people, and they've lived on Gunsmoke for almost all of their 150-year-long lives. They look to be in their twenties.
Vash is the optimist. He believes killing is absolutely unacceptable and that there's always another way. Despite this, he's a ridiculously infamous outlaw for accidentally destroying a large city and thus killing many, many people a few dozen years ago. It was all sparked by his brother, of course.
Knives is the pessimist, one who sees all of humanity's faults and shortcomings. He hates them and pretty much plans on carrying out genocide on them. Also he loves his brother more than anything else, and it concerns him how much trouble Vash gets into at the hands of humans.
Wolfwood is, in the fine words of the Doctor, a cursing religious man. Basically he's a priest and a gunman rolled into one. He's around seventeen or so but looks like he's in his forties because of an elixir he used for a while that vastly speeds up healing and, at the same time, age. He loves kids and works to raise money for the church-orphanage he grew up in. He follows Vash around as an order from Knives, whom he also happens to work for because he's been trying to get a chance to kill the guy.

Ces, Tevereo (formerly known as Berello), Hurjad.
(in the past) Master Chief, a couple characters from Final Fantasy: Advent Children.
She also plays all of Nias' characters at the moment.
Ces, Tevereo, and Hurjad are all Harans. Tevereo and Hurjad are brothers. They might also be related to Ces but I'm not entirely sure about that yet. xD Harans are a lanky people that hail from the planet Theslern, and they have spirits within them that give them the ability to shapeshift into many different animals, both natural to their planet and unnatural. Some also have magical ability, such as being able to teleport.
Ces is the youngest of the three, with less than a hundred years under her belt. Her primary animal form is Theslern's version of a large brown wolf, though she does have multiple other forms and still even learns some new ones now and again.
Currently, our rather ragtag cast of main characters consists of Shade the Fera; Ces, Berello, and Hurjad the Harans; Vash and Knives the independent Plants; Nicholas Wolfwood the sucky preist Human; Lucy the Diclonius; and a Time Lord known simply as the Doctor. There's also a group of Fera that has just introduced itself, but I can't quite recall all their names yet. xD
