Sanguine had his hat tipped over one of his eyes so he could peek out an see the woman entering the house. As she entered, he pounced pinning her down his razor at her throat.

Raising an Eyebrow, Vyn looked at the young girl who went by the name of Rose. "So Skullduggery, you seem to have a knack for getting the attention of young girls. You really need to limit your name being spread. What ever happened to your old get up? that wig suited you ya know?" She joked, turning to leave. "One last Question, is ghastly still around? I had heard he used Earth magic a few years ago."

"Ghastly is still suffering the consequences of using Earth magic, I'm afraid. Or there abouts, anyhow." Skulduggery said. "And as for you, Rose, why do you need to see Tanith Low? I assume you know each other?"
Eliza froze to the spot for a moment, eyes portraying a look of caution and a little fear, as well as a hint of curiosity. Studying the man for reaction, Eliza shapeshifted back to human form and took a step forward. Then another. The air around the area rippled a little; that happened whenever she was expecting something bad to happen. She hoped nobody picked up on the air ripples and found her. Eliza took one final step toward the man.

Skulduggery paused, as if in thought, then shrugged.
"Fair enough." he said, with a little shrug. "Hold on." He pressed a small button on the car's key, locking it. He pulled his hat down a little and started walking, beckoning for Rose to follow.
"Vyn, are you coming, too?" he asked, looking back.
Eliza shivered. She decided to take a few more steps towards the man. Something's not right,, here...she thought.

At the last step Billy Ray leapt up from his chair and pounced upon her holding his razor to her throat "why, hello" he growled.
Rose nodded and took a step toward the gently she hesitated before finally steping in to the front seat. She crossed her arms nd thought about her cousin Tanith, she thought was dead but it appeared not Tanith must think I'm dead to.

Eliza, being young, was terrified when caught off guard by the man in the chair. She scarecly had time to even yelp before the razor was at her throat. She daren't struggle. But her eyes definately showed her fear.
"Um...hi?" she responded to the man. Then she let out an air pulse that rippled from herself and quite far around. This time, she was praying that it reached someone. Anyone.
"I really think I should be going." Eliza muttered. But it was obvious that she wasn't going anywhere.
The air pulse did reach someone; Skulduggery. He was about to get back in the car and take Rose to Tanith when it reached him. The disturbances in the air troubled him. It seemed to indicate that someone was being held with a knife to their throats. Or something LIKE a knife, anyway.
"That is puzzling." he muttered, before saying to Rose "I'm afraid I must see what's going on. I believe that someone is in iminant danger. I'll be back in a minute." He turned and began moving at a swift jog to where the air pulse had come from.
"Anyone else coming?" he called back, cheerily.

Rose rolled her eyes " I guess I am" and she speed after him. Catching up at him shaping her fingers and letting a spark of fire dance upon her fingertips.
Billy Ray pressed the razor harder into her throat to show he wasn't messing around. "How bout you tell me what your doing here" he said in a lazy drawl. Seeing the girl's fear. He smiled evilly at that.

"I'm travelling. I have been for some time." Eliza managed to say. "I peeked in at your window, acidentally broke the glass and, out of curiosity, decided to investigate inside. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a child, and we're known for curiosity. Surely you must know that." She gagged a little at the razor held to her throat. She gave a tiny smile.
"Maybe not." she said.
Skulduggery read the disturbances in the air.
"Over here." he muttered. He saw a house with a window apparently missing. He heard voices inside. Yes...he thought...they're in here.

"Curiosity killed the..." Eliza muttered, trailing off as the man's intent dawned on her. "Ah. You're going to kill me. That's no fun." With a slight grin, she shapeshifted one leg into the clawed leg of a wyvern and kicked out. While the man recoiled, Eliza became fully human again and bolted for the broken window.
Skulduggery was about to enter the window when this happened. Two things had hit him; one, that it was Billy-Ray Sanguine in the house. Two...that it was his own daughter that had ran out. Obviously she had been the one threatened by Sanguine. However, Skulduggery's daughter showed no recognition for him. Well, she probably wouldn't. Her father hadn't been a skeleton before.
"Billy-Ray Sanguine." Skulduggery directly addressed the man in the house. "Should I have known?"

Rose didn't want Sanguine to see her he would tell Mr Pleasant a few things she didn't want reminding of.

Eliza fully shapeshifted into a Wyvern. She took a further step back. Skulduggery, however, did not falter.
"Do you know who that girl is?" he asked.
And then Eliza knew. She heard the voice that she had longed to hear for so very long.
"Daddy?" she asked, hesitantly. But her father seemed so different. What was it about him that was different? The new suit? The hat? Maybe he'd lost weight? No, it was a much more drastic change. Her father was a lliving...well, kinda...skeleton.

Skulduggery took a step forward.rnrn"But you should know..." he began, flexing one hand. "That if you should come near her again..." He was clearly threatening Billy-Ray Sanguine now. Eliza merely cowered in one corner. First Serpine, now this guy. Her life was full of chaos.

"Valkyrie is not here, Sanguine." Skulduggery said. He took another step back. This time it was evident that he was planning on soon retreating with Eliza in tow. rnrnEliza, however, was not waiting any longer. SHapeshifting into the Wyvern, she darted for the valley entrance.
