Cassie grinned, still thinking. "And he wouldn't be able to report it, because then he'd have to reveal what he's done to me." Her smile faded some. "I wonder, if he'd report it to the school to un-enroll me... they could tell him that I'm still alive."

Amber pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed their current school's number. She talked to the receptionist for about a half an hour. Amber finally hung up and smiled excitedly at Cassie before saying "I need to use my laptop to find the other school's number." She stepped away and picked up her apple computer, and sat down. Amber clicked and typed before dialing another number on her phone. She talked for a while before hanging up. "We need to go register, okay?"
