Tode hasn’t RP’d in a while, but I’m looking to start here
again.

Some of you may know about my web comic summer project with
the same ti
tle as this here thing, Hither & Yon [tle="" target="_blank">prologue story board…..first
three pages] and just like….I need something to read while I do and maybe get
ideas from? idek

So the plot so far is just that Grieg, my character is on
his way to becoming a knight and has to first survive all the challenges of
being a squire. He’ll meet some interesting people along the way and have fun and
probably die but he REALLY wants to be a knight. Read [tle="" target="_blank">here] for a crash course
on medieval knights.



.:Rules:.

No lady knights. I’m sorry but that would complicate things.
Also, no girls pretending to be boys to be knights* because honestly that could
ever have happened??? If you want to be a female, please consider being; a
gypsy, a town folk, or some mystic being.  I would like to keep this with VERY LITTLE fantasy.

Swearing minimal and romance? Eh. Go for it, I guess. Let’s
just keep everything PG-13 and follow Res Rules.

Please let other players know if you’re not going to be able
to reply for a long time. I myself am working full time and I often come home
and just go to sleep. Do not pass go, nor collect $200. But letting us know
will keep you from being flooded with posts when you come back.


I prefer freeform (no bio form to fill out) with your first
post being a basic introduction/deon with the option of a picture at the
top (I have a drawing from Soggy Butt that I want to show off so WOO!). If you
prefer a bio, it’s up to you to create your own.

Literate to semi-literate, please. A minimum of three
sentences would be nice to give the rest something to go off of but if you can’t
do that every post, don’t do it. I PROMISE everyone will thank you for not
filling a paragraph with how the wind felt blowing through someone’s hair ;)



We can begin whenever. I gotta go get something to eat now.

*Unless you’ve had experience and your character is super

Role: Princess, more tom-boy

Role: Prince, doesn't enjoy being so up-tight and formal.

Personality: Kyle is friendly, but can be shy. He prefers to be outside and practice mounted archery or on the ground. He likes to run in the forest outside their 'castle' and climb their trees. He hates to be proper, up-tight and formal and wishes to live a normal life as a village kid,
Family: Father, mother and sister.
Fashion Sense: Pants and shirts than the usual tight itchy formal attire.
Other: Nope.

A little background...
The mom and dad are very up-tight and formal. They are trying their best to be the queen and king. Michi and Ky are best friends, and have no other friends. They act like their parents but during the day they pack up and head into the forest behind their small castle. Michi and Ky rides their horses.
Ky is more into competitions with his horse, Brutual Rain. He is grey thoroughbred. Stallion. 
Michi is always on her horse, going for rides in the forest. She refused to have a fancy horse like a Thoroughbred or Andalusian. She settled on a powerful black shire called Midnight's Soul. She's a mare.
Her parents have grey Andalusian that Ky and Michi excercise as their parents hardly ever ride.

My Characters:

Sir Bradley of Brek: Although his order of knights (The Old Guard) is now obsolete, Sir Bradley continues on a personal crusade of fighting evil and bringing justice to the land of Eneriand. He is a proud and jolly fellow, who cares about nothing more than keeping his fellow man safe. He is selfless and pure, but perhaps a little over zealous in stomping out evil. He wears steel plate armour with dark red cloth over his right arm and left leg. He fights with a spear and small round shield. Underneath his visored helmet he has short, sandy blond hair, a curled moustache, and blue eyes. He owns a grey warhorse with black spots called Lucatiel. He has travelled much of the land, fighting bandits and thieves, and met Oscar when he saved him from a gang of highwaymen as the cleric was on a pilgrimage. After that, they have become close friends.

Oscar of Weston: A cleric of the Sun God, Lanta. Although quite young, only 19, he is a fully matured member of the church and is the accompanying scholar of Sir Bradley. He is strongly faithful in his god, but is in fact quite a coward and will shy away from violence. He is particularly grossed out by blood. He is a wiry young man with brown hair in a bob with the middle bald (typical monk hairstyle) and brown eyes, wearing a brown robe decorated with a stylistic sun. He can perform some miracles, such as a minor heal, a magic barrier and a shockwave.

Silas the Long Blade: Hailing from the Illan Desert, Silas was trained by desert nomads in the ways of assassination. He is a mercenary who kills for the highest bid, although really he doesn't care for material things. He believes that the act of anointing himself in the blood of his targets will grant him favour of the dark god known as Caitha. He is sneaky and paranoid but highly determined and never gives up once he has a target in his sight. He has tanned skin, brown (almost black) eyes, a hooked nose and long black hair with beard and moustache. He wears a loose white silk shirt, baggy dark green pants and a burgundy turban/headwrap. He carries a scimitar and uses poison and throwing knives.



Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
