Anthony blinked and snaked his head around to inspect her wound again. It did look like it hurt. "I'm going to try something. It might sting a little, but it will help, so don't bite me."

He allowed the poison that he used to make his bubbles explode drip down from their glands in his mouth onto his tongue. In the past couple years, he had learned that when it came in contact with flesh, the poison would turn into a disinfectant and help speed up the healing process.  

Once he felt that his tongue was soaked with the poison, he licked gently at the wound, closing his eyes just in case Calyx decided to bite or scratch him.

Shad grunted. "Unless you have a change of clothes that'd fit me, I'm fine." he thought about it for a moment. "Although, do you think you could help me find my friend." as much as he'd prefer to just search alone, the idea of trekking through a forest, soaked to the bone, did not appeal to him.

Calyx whimpered. "done yet?' she asked shaking. " it dose sting a little.." she lied, it hurt, alot.she dug her claws into the ground.

Anthony finished applying the liquid to Calyx's wound and pulled back, the slightly blue poison dripping from his mouth. "There, that should make it heal after a few days. It'll also numb the pain soon." he said, spitting the remainder of the poison onto the ground beside him. Swallowing it would, more times than not, give him a bad stomachache.

Anthony smiled, slightly embarras-sed. "I'm sure you'd manage. You're a bright girl." he answered, sweetly. He chuckled slightly. "I actually learned it by accident. A friend of mine got injured a while back and I tried to clean the wound, not realizing I still had it on my tongue. He was ready to kill me until it made him feel better." He laughed at the memory of Shad, believing he was going to die from the poison, chasing him carrying a large stick and threatening him at the top of his lungs about how he was going to take Anthony down with him.
