Padding back wearily towards camp, Willowstar felt as if she were Willowfern again, padding back into the warriors den after a long day's hunt. She actually padded into the warrior's den before she realized she was half asleep on her paws, and in the wrong den. Yawning she gazed fondly at the camp before padding softly back to her nest. Turning in a half circle, she snuggled in the moss and feathers, but it felt cold and alone in there, with nothing but the moss growing and the camp view to keep her company.

Stormblaze padded out. For a moment, he stared at the ground. It was more like the lovely brown pool beneath him that mimicked a drained lake that somecat hadn't finished with. He sighed. The rain was slightly more than a drizzle now. Not bad, considering the last few days. He relised that Willowstar was back in her den. Stormblaze grinned. He wouldn't go inside and bother her, though. That wouldn't be very kind of him.

((Stormblaze seems to have lost his brain.))

((Blame Fluffy. She made it poof into the next page. O3O Apprentice's wail. But it sounds like a kit's wail so okay.

Yayy, WAR IS AT THE BRINK OF SPAWNING, IT IS IN YOUR PAWS, SMOKETAIL!))

Smoketail turned to Gladestar and her patrol. He glared at them and his hackles raised. Then he turned to Hornetwing. "DarkClan attacked Hiddenpaw!" he hissed.

Hiddenpaw had pas.sed out. But his bloody gash was clear. Right there.

Gladestar hissed. "All of my warriors have been in camp up until now!" she hissed. 

"And what are you all doing on Darkclan territory anyways?!" Minkclaw snapped. 

*poofs Spottedpaw with them*

"Hiddenpaw has always been a liar!" Spottedpaw yelled. "I talked to her at gatherings and she told me her mother's last litter belonged to her mom's brother and the kits were born with eight tails each! And you mean to tell me that you believe her now?!"

Hornetwing hissed. "Hiddenpaw would never lie about this!" she hissed, her spine fur puffed up. She bared her teeth at Gladestar. "You are all the liars in the situation! How could you hurt Hiddenpaw! She's barely an apprentice!"

"I wouldn't even call her a kit!" Gladestar growled. "That little monster has bothered us one too many times." 

((Okay, fine. Blame Stormblaze. XD And I thought Hiddenpaw was a tom? He is a tom.))

Hiddenpaw would've smiled. He loved lying. Getting in trouble. He didn't mind being scolded. He would've flexed his claws proudly in that situation. But of course, he couldn't, because he didn't even relise it.

*poofs Nightstar with them*

Nightstar growled, eyes glinting in rage. "Do not insult my apprentices!" he snarled. "And he wouldn't be on DarkClan territory! He would be hunting on our side of the border, not bothering your filthy Clan!" Nightstar spat. His tail lashed.

Smoketail narrowed his glimmering eyes. "It is clear that you have injured him. Why would he hurt himself?! And look! These slashes were made by cat claws!" he hissed, pointing his tail to the wounds.

Willowfrost trekked out. "They have been." she meowed darkly.

((He did hurt himself, ya dummies! XD))

Gladestar's tail lashed. Her eyes sparkled madly. "This is DarkClan territory fox breath!" she hissed, glaring at Nightstar. She never swore. She was not happy at all. Her fur ruffled as some mist filtered into her fur from the trees. That little chill is what set her off. She unsheathed her claws in the mud. This was her terf. They were tresp*censored*ing and lying.

Ashflight was nervous. She had only been in one other batlle before. And even then she had been only an apprentice. She ran through all of her moves in her mind, feeling confident about them. Spottedpaw looked terrified. Wanting to spare Spottedpaw the fright of seeing cats die, she bent down and whispered in her ear. "Go get help"

Spottedpaw was off in an instant. She raced faster than a rabbit, her paws barely touching the mud. She practically flew. She skidded to a stop in camp and yowled at the top of her lungs. "There is a battle breaking out between us and Oceanclan!" she yowled.

Minnowfoot peeked out from the medicine cat's den. "Dreamcloud, stay here and guard camp." he ordered. "Crowpaw! Vanillapaw! Shadowpaw!" he yelled in the direction of the apprentice's den. 

Shadowscar stood tense, near Gladestar's shoulder. Was this it? Was he finally going to take revenge on those scumtripes? Or would his third love, finally die, completing the cycle? He was stiff legged. Shadowscar knew he had to be limber to survive. He started licking his coat to loosen up. It always helped before. Touching his tail gently to Gladestar's pelt, he sent her an eye message. Calm down. Do not get any cats killed for nothing. Shadowscar always sent messages like that to Gladestar. He knew she hada temper, and she knew HE had a temper. At least, he hoped. But the least he could do for his leader was to calm her down. Unsheathing his claws, Shadowscar accidentally pressed close to Ashflight, losing balance for a second, then regaining it.

((Sorry. My sister went on. >.< An Hiddenpaw was supposed to be near the border, but then he stalked away. Smoketail began to bring him to camp, and DarkClan arrived...))

Nightstar's eyes flashed in rage. "This is our territory, you mousebrain! DarkClan doesn't have sand all over its trees!" the leader snarled.

Hiddenpaw was still unconscious. No one could consult the only cat who could 'help'.

Smoketail snarled. "The border marks have been washed away. But trees like this do not grow in your forest." he mewed coldly.

Shadowpaw turned to who called her. "What?" she yowled back. "Come on." she mewed to Vanillapaw. Shadowpaw lept out of the apprentice's den with ease. She landed on the muddy water with a splash.

Vanillapaw ran out after her. "Yes?" she mewed.

Swiftwing yawned. She was eating a nice, cold mouse. When she finished with it, she trotted over to Minnowfoot. "What's all of the commotion about?" she asked calmly.

Gorsepaw turned to the entrance, but then ignored it. "What's up with them?" she mewed. Since Gorsepaw hadn't been through many battles, she didn't recognize it all.

Crowpaw bounded out of the apprentice's den after his den-mates, his heart pounding rapidly.

"If Spottedpaw is correct, there is a battle to be broken out at any moment," Minnowfoot said urgently. His eyes bore into Vanillapaw. "Can you fight?" he asked. That was a dumb question. He could ask any cat if they could fight, even a kit, and even if they couldn't fight, they'd reply yes. "Nevermind. Spottedpaw, Vanillapaw, you two will be staying here and guarding camp." Minnowfoot declared. "And just in case the fight comes here, I'll be leaving Dreamcloud as well." Minnowfoot said after thought. "Vanillapaw, go and tell the medicine cats to prepare, the rest of us have to go now!" Minnowfoot said. So he could bring Crowpaw, Shadowpaw, Swiftwing and Minkclaw. Minnowfoot gathered at the entrance, waiting or the battle party to *censored*emble.

"You dare insult our leader?" Ashflight growled.

Gladestar flicked her tail. "Oh hush Ashflight" she said. "I know that this is not my territory now" Gladestar's eyes flashed menacingly. "But it will be after this!" Gladestar's fur ruffled and her claws glinted as she jumped. She  landed on Nightstar with a yowl, scratching wildly at his belly.

That was the signal! She had to attack! Ashflight bunched up her muscles and released her energy. She sprang into the air and landed on Smoketail. She let out a yowl of fury and raked her claws along his side.

Hornetwing yowled. The time for words was over. She dashed forward and slashed Shadowscar's muzzle menacingly. 

Vanillapaw nodded. She pelted over to the medicine cat den. "Gorsepaw! Applesong! There's going to be a battle! At OceanClan, if I'm correct. Minnowfoot told me to ask you to prepare." she mewed urgently. She zoomed out of the den swiftly and slipped into the forest. She could attack anyone coming in from OceanClan there.

Gorsepaw nodded briskly and took out some herbs. She began to make bundles. They would be more useful at the battle area.

Nightstar yowled in rage. He raised his paw, claws unsheathed, and aimed a hit at Gladestar's head. He kicked his paws, claws out as well, trying to hit Gladestar.

Smoketail snarled. He lunged forward to bite Ashflight.

Hiddenpaw was still unconscious. Was he just pretending now!?

Willowfrost gave a sigh of exasperation. She dragged the apprentice to her den before anyone could attack her. Willowfrost began to make poultices.

"A battle?!" Swiftwing gasped. She pelted across the clearing without any warning, kicking up mud and water. She dashed acround trees to the OceanClan border. There was going to be a battle. There was a fight going on. She launched herself onto Hornetwing, claws glinting in the sun that managed to shine through the rain. Hopefully she wouldn't miss.

Hornetwing was taken by suprise when Swiftwing was suddenly on her back. She ywoled in fury and rolled onto her back, squishing Swiftwing in the mud. She regained her footing and hissed at the Darkclan she-cat before pelting into her head first.

Serpentbreeze saw that hr sister was in trouble, and leaped up in the air, hopefully to land on Swiftwing, but her aim was never very good.

Minnowfoot, Minkclaw and Crowpaw all arrived at the scene of the battle and got into it immediately.

Gladestar was fighting Nightstar. He was a strong leader, the oldest leader in all the clans right now. She was young and fit, but Nightstar was stronger. That was all that mattered. She took his claws right in the face, barely missing her eye. She lashed out with both forepaws and tried to trip him by clawing his legs.

Minkclaw saw Serpentbreeze and Hornetwing both attacking Swiftwing. that wasn't very fair. With a growl, he leaped into the air and knocked Serpentbreeze away before she could touch Swiftwing. He pinned her down and scratched her face.

Serpentbreeze roared in anger. She pushed Minkclaw off of her with much difficulty- he was a big, very fluffy cat. When he was finally off of her, he was unbalanced. Seeing her oppertunity, she leaped on his back and bit his neck- hard.

Minkclaw yowled in anguish. He threw Serpentbreeze off, sending a few clumps of fur with her as he bled out. His breathing was ragged. That she-cat had a bite much worse than any bark he'd ever heard. He sank to the ground, lying on his side, almost buried in the liquidy mud.

"Minkclaw!" Crowpaw yowled in terror. His eyes glinted in hatred. Serpentbreeze killed Minkclaw. With a roar of fury, he jumped onto unsuspecting Serpent-breeze's back and bit right in between her shoulders.

Minnowfoot saw Ashflight. His heart thudded. He charged into Smoketail as fast as he could, knocking him away from his sister.
