Kai-Ching grinned wide as he pale cheeks would let her. "Ti Jinh wants to play hide and seek!"she cheered. "I call not it."she giggled as she jumped up and down witH Fever's hand still held in both of her's. Gwa-Ryu got up as soon as he heard his owner say not it. He moved behind her and nudged her with his nose. "Gwa -Ryu says Im gonna' win this game."Kai-Ching smiled.

Akilina leapt onto her bed and lay down. It was nice and soft and fluffy. "I could live here." she said and something flickered into her mind that she had at one point. She shook it away, nt wanting to think aboput that...

"Not it." Fever said quickly. She raised an eyebrow at Ti Jinh and crossed her arms, maintaining a serious ex
pression for a few seconds, then grinning. "Slow." She teased. "Are you guys playing?" She asked Gwa-Ryu and Jet. It was serious question, since she generally didn't treat animals differently than humans.
Already her mind was running through her possibilities. She could hide up in a tree, but it wouldn't be very fair. Neither would flying around but she would be easily spotted that way. The market? No, too dangerous, especially for Kai-Ching. Fever shook her head to clear the thoughts.

Gwa-Ryu yawned widely and leaped to Kai-Ching's side. He nudged the little girl with his cold, wet nose. "Me and Gwa-Ryu are not it!"she sang as she pushed Ti Jinh to a corner. "No peeking and count to twenty!"she giggled as she ran off. "Go hide Fever! Base is the front door." ~ Kiggan raised an eyebrown. "Come on now. You can tell me."he said sitting across from her. "Is it stress from finding out...that youre the avatar?"he inquired. |

"I had a bad dream, alright." She snapped, turning away from him. She didn't sound much like a 12-year old and more like a 112 year old. She took no notice. "I mean, why me. I know about the toys and stuff, but why didn't they wait till I was older." she said, folding her arms...

Kai-Ching pouted with disdain. She was going to take off into the woods, but her plans were now ruined by Ti Jinh's rules. Kai-Ching huffed and shouted back, "Fine! I wont leave from around the house!"she said as Gwa-Ryu sneezed. She tugged at his scruff and pulled him to hide. "Go hide Gwa."she whispered to him. He got up and lazily walked away and hid under Ti Jinh's bed. "Ah ha!"Kai-Ching said when she looked at a window. She leaped out the window, trying to be cool like Fever, and hid right under the window. ~ Kiggan looked at Akilina with simpathetic eyes. He felt bad for the young girl. She had every right to be upset and in a tizzy. "I wish I could say something that would make you feel better,"he said sighing and looking down "But I could never understand what you are going though. Finding out sómething so epic at such a young age it a heavy weight. But I have faith in you Aki. You will get through this and I wont budge from your side for a moment." |

"Thanks kiggan..." Aki said as tears welled up in her eyes. "Where should we go from here. I want to be near water. Fire makes me... uncomfortable." she shuddered, edging away from the coal-burning fireplace...

Kiggan gave a soft smile. "I understand."he said warmly. "Come one. We have always water bended with ice cold water. Would you like to try the hot springs here? That would be a change of pace."

Fever nodded, made sure he wasn't looking, then bolted outside. She looked up, one hand shielding her eyes from the glaring sun.
Looks doable. She nodded to herself, then kicked silently off the ground. She soard in an arc above Ti Jinh's house, then landed on his roof with a slight tap.
Fever frowned, realizing that what she was looking for wasn't here. She hopped down to the ground, entered the house again, and started to search.
She dared to enter Ti Jinh's room, but didn't bother looking around- other than at the ceiling.
Something caught her eye, and she smiled in relief.
Undoing the latch was easy enough, and the door was silent as it swung open. The hinges were surprisingly well-oiled. Fever jumped up, grabbed the rim, and pulled herself into the attic, shutting the door. The latch reconnected automatically with a quiet click.
Fever blinked once, twice, then decided it wasn't worth the effort. It was very dark, with no windows. She cleared her throat, and the sound was muted. That told her it was either very cluttered or a relatively small space. More likely the latter than the former.
She sat against the wall in a corner, hugging her knees, smiled, and waited.

Ti Jinh finished counting before sighing lightly. "Hmm. I wonder where everyone went" he laughed randomly walking around the house. He checked in the cubbords for Kai-Ching and around the chairs. "I wonder..." he muttered walking into his room checking under his bed but frowning not seeing the child there. "Jet!" Ti Jinh called watching his messanger hawk fly through an open window. "Why don't you help me find our little guests" he grinned watching his hawk fly back out the window. "Which one first? Kai-Ching or Fever" he talked to himself but it wasn't long before Jet gave out a screech landing in front of Kai-Ching who was under the open window he had flew through. Smirking he ran and actually lept out the window himself landing just behind Jet and laughed spinning around seeing Kai-Ching. "Gotcha. Hey...wanna help me find Fever?" He asked with a warm smile petting Jet who spread his wings and took off into the air. |

Ka3-Ching let out a scream as he jumped in front of her. She covered her face and began to laugh. "You scared me Ti Jinh!"she said as she grapped hold of his arm. She looked up at Ti Jinh then at Jet. "You cheated!"she said pinching his arm. Meanwhile, in the fire nation capital twofriend were trying something new. "Come on in Aki."he said as he waded in thw hotspring water with his swim trunks on. "Its nice and hot. Try to bend it."

Ti Jinh laughed and shook his head. "Nu-uh! No one said I couldn't use Jet" He grinned picking her up and giving her a hug. "How about we go look for Fever? I can't seem to find her. To be honest...I was looking for her first" he said softly climbing back in the window making sure not to hit Kai-Ching's head or anything else as his feet landed softly on the floor. He set her down and looked around. "Whre do you think she's at?"
