 "Yea...Quill likes sleeping a lot...He is my big lazy bird." Ilian said watching as Quill fell asleep on his shoulder as if to prove his point.

Sola chuckled and stretched out her other hand to pat Quill, then stopped. "Hey, it's alright to pat him, right?" She asked, worried that Quill would be uncomfortable with someone he didn't really know patting him. "After all, Fiero may be friendly, but he needs to know someone first." She shrugged.

The falcon had heard the starling's twittering song, and he turned his yellow eyes on the smaller avian. Giving a small croak he leaned down to inspect the loud animal, cocking his head to the side in confusion.

Jesca padded up to the table with a consternated look on her face. 'Sorry, he's curious...and hates cats,' she said in a not very apologetic tone, her face stony.

((I like long RPs...It seems like they get more interesting as they get longer.XD))

 "He won't mind." Ilian said. "He is very friendly to almost everyone, even strangers."

Sola didn't really care about the lack of ex
pression on the girl's face. "Oh, it's alright." She said, giving the falcon a little friendly wave. Fiero puffed up, looking rather indignant. He chirped to the falcon, as if saying 'yes, I am a bird'. Sola chuckled and patted Fiero. "Don't do anything to provoke him." She whispered, and extended another hand to pat Quill on the head. "Oh, I guess you're right." Sola said. "He's extremely friendly. That's a first, for an owl." Sola grinned.

Jesca nodded and held out her hand for Sab to climb onto, but the falcon seemed inclined to stay with his newly made friend. 'Sab,' she said softly, a kind look coming onto her usually emotionless face. 'Alright, you stay.'

She glanced at the two Gryffindors, clearly at loss at what to do. 'Um...can I stay here until he wants to go? He's stubborn and I can never make him do anything he doesn't want to do.' She flushed slightly and fiddled with her cloak.

[[Alright then. Maya can finally be un-stuck x.x]]

Sola looked up at the girl. "Of course you can." She said happily, nodding and s hifting over a seat to squish next to Ilia. Sola patted the newly vacant spot. [[Awww short post x.x]]

Levi petted Shichi's fluffy head. "By name, you mean mine or his?" He pointed at his dog. Shichi looked at Levi's finger and playfully bit it. Levi chuckled, patting Shichi with his other hand. "My name is Levi, and the dog's name is Shichi. Not too sure about the breed. Nice name for your owl, by the way." He smiled earnestly. The name Beowulf certainly was intimidating.

 Maya looked around. "Oh, look." She said in a lazy manner. "Another Ravenclaw finally decided to join the table." Maya took the boy's outstretched hand and shook it. "My name is Maya. And this is my cat, Chem." Chem's amber eyes stared up curiously at the boy, mewing incessantly. 

Jesca nodded and slipped inbetween the two Gryffindors, feeling out of place at the red-and-gold table filled with chattering people from anther house. Unfortunately for her, Sabbatical didn't seem to have any issues with this and was calmly chattering with the starling, much to Jesca's surprise.

'Some falcon,' she huffed. 'Speaking to his prey. Not that I'd...ah, want him to eat your pet,' she said somberly, blushing again.

"Say thank you, Chem." Maya grinned as her cat purred when the boy patted him. "What's your name again?" She asked. Maya was sure she had seen the boy wandering around Hogwarts last year. Then again, life in Hogwarts was a pretty small world.

Sola chuckled. "It's fine." She said. "Fiero can fly fast, I guess." She shrugged again. Fiero never was intimidated, and her starling always as-sumed that he was the king in the avian world. "What house are you from?" Sola asked the girl.

Maya's eyes widened with the barrage of questions coming from the boy. "Umm... I'm 17... And about birds..." She burst out laughing. "What's with the questions, Mores?" She asked, patting Chem. Her cat narrowed his eyes at Mores, wondering what was up with him.

"Ravenclaw?" She asked. "That's nice. I've got a few Ravenclaw friends." Sola grinned. "7 years is a long time! I suppose you're going to graduate soon, right?" Sola almost respected the older girl. She seemed friendly enough, and her falcon was adorable, the way he communicated with Fiero. Fiero would constantly chirp back a reply at the larger bird.

Jesca smiled. 'Next year. I plan on becoming an aurora...I'm pretty good at the spells you need to become one.' She turned and glanced at Sab, who seemed perfectly content to talk with Fiero and peck at the floating platter of mouse meat that had just appered.

'Odd,' she remarked quietly.

Maya continued to watch Mores, slightly amused by the boy's actions. "I guess you like turkish delight?" She asked, looking at the almost empty bowl of turkish delight being slowly refilled by the teachers and their wands. Chem sat still on Maya's lap, also watching the boy. Maya and Chem moved almost in sync sometimes, though Chem was the more fidgety one.

"An aurora?" Sola inquired, curious. "That sounds like a nice deal. I don't know what I want to be. I've got a few more years left, then I guess I'll become..." Sola shrugged. "Perhaps I won't even be employed." She chuckled. "Maya always said I was the lazy one." She watched the girl's falcon nip at the meat, while Fiero turned his attention to a bowl of berries, hopping onto the rim of the golden bowl and pecking at a few ripe berries. He occasionally chirped a reply to the falcon.
