"Oi Jim, the next load's just arrived. Where do ya want me to put 'em?"
"Out the back, Will, like the boss told us, yeah?"
"Sure, mate. OW one of them bleeding animals bit me! It just bit me!"

So much pain.
It is overwhelming, so you follow your instincts and thrash out; where are you going?
How will you get there? Where is food?
Look, there's a human coming out.
Why is he here? Who are you?
His hand looks nice. Maybe you'll taste it.
Oh no, he made a weird noise. No, you don't like that.
Thrashing out again, you break free of the chains, keeping you together with others. They smell like prey. The one next to you takes flight and so you try as well. It looks fun.
Oh no, why do you have extra legs? Is that meant to happen?
How did you do that? Why is there string? How did you get up there?
Turning around, you see many others escaping, while some curl into themselves.
You hear more weird noises, they're high-pitched and they hurt you a lot. You don't like that.
How do you get down? Look, there are more humans. Are they making the noise?
What are the green papers that are floating everywhere?
Where are you?
You scuttle away.

'In downtown Truwe, there was a mass breakout from the Mutation Market; people are being warned to keep their doors locked and windows bolted; as well as any other openings in your house. The mutations are on the loose. I repeat, the mutations are on the loose.'

Mutation Market:
A wondrous place where mutations roam free around the premises. They are completely harmless, and go for a cheap price.
Fantastic as a substitute for those very expensive horses!
Great for entertainment purposes, pets, riding and many other things.
They have a face because we care :D

There are many different types of mutations at the Market, but the load that has escaped are insect mutations.
Mutations were created over 3 centuries ago, by a young chicken farmer by the name of Muqae Alice, when she accidentally spliced a young chick with her baby brother, and created the first hybrid. Over the years, many different types of hybrid's were created, and were bred to eventually evolve into equal balances of animal and human. Although they were equal balance of each participant, many still retained the animal state of mind, making them feral and wild.

The Mutation slave trade quickly wiped out the human slave trade, as Mutations were much more effective with travelling and farming; while insect Mutations are good for protection purposes, as they have mainly bred dangerous and unstable insect mutations (e.g wasps, spiders) while some have chosen more friendly insects for children or profit (e.g silk worms, lady bugs)
The friendly insect mutations compared to the dangerous mutations are in a ratio of 1 friendly for every 8 aggressive.
Many of them have poison held within their human counterparts, while others still have the stingers, fangs, and other dangerous additions from their animal counterpart.

The load that has recently escaped from the Market were a mix of both friendly and aggressive.

Rules:
- All Res rules apply
- Minimum of one paragraph per post
- Every post must be something to help the plot along (e.g someone posts about a huge encounter between the escaped mutations, while you post about how pretty the cave is that you have escaped to, millions of miles away from where you're supposed to be)
- Please, if you've read the rules, write in Other about your Easter weekend.
- You may have as many characters as you wish, as long as you can write one paragraph per character
- You may have violence, blood, and gore, but not full on horror movie style.
- Death is allowed, although no killing of other characters
- No godmodding at all
- You guys are mostly insect, you can't be 6 feet tall or uber-powerful.

- Name - Abyaz Sygnus
- Age - Nine.
- Gender - Male.
- Species - White Ermine Moth.
- Personality - Abyaz is a sweet-natured boy, though somewhat naive, who has a tendency to pick up on the emotions of others easily - perhaps as a socially-oriented survival instinct, most likely deriving from the human part of his heritage. He is acutely claustrophobic, preferring wide open spaces, and is easily startled. He can be a little odd at times, though, occasionally striking up a conversation with his shadow or his reflection. His mental state is on the friendly side of the spectrum, but this is partly due to the fact that the insect part of his heritage is mostly harmless. He is, however, a little unbalanced by human standards. Even when provoked, he does not tend to display any anger - possibly a conditioned response - but will retreat into himself instead.
- History - Abyaz was intended to be a pet, bred to be the playmate of whichever rich kid wanted him first, so he has been reared to be polite and accommodating. He has never known another life, and does not know quite what to do with himself now that he is out, but he cannot resist the pull of the open air.
- Looks - Abyaz is of very slender build, with pale skin, and his short tufty hair is soft and snowy white. His large, round eyes are black, the irises as well as the pupils, and he has long, feathered antennae. He has four arms and a set of large black-flecked white wings, and he has copious amounts of white fluff over most of his body, though his lower arms and his legs below the knee are free of fluff - as is his face.
- Abilities - Flight: Abyaz is small and light enough to manage flight, though his stamina is not indefinite - flying takes a lot of energy. Also, his antennae give him an excellent sense of smell, and allow him to detect movement in his immediate area and air pressure changes to some extent.
- Other - Abyaz has a high metabolic rate, requiring a lot of energy input. This is part of the reason he was to be relatively expensive for a mutation, the rest being due to the cute appearance he was bred to have. He also does not need to wear more than a pair of shorts, as he is so fluffy. Oh, and my Easter was fun and chocolate filled, thanks - how was yours?

 Name -
Vinta Papilio
- Age -
19
- Gender -
Male
- Species -
Ulysses Butterfly
- Personality -
Vinta radiates an almost quiet grace, possibly due to the fact that he is, indeed, a butterfly. He doesn't speak much and does not even really interact with others much, preferring to stay off to his own. That said, he won't ignore others who are in need if it is possible for him to do so. He isn't heartless, merely...antisocial.
- History -
He was bred not to be a fighter, but more to be a lover...quite literally. His appearance and the choice of insect was due to butterflies generally being calm in nature and not too strong, as well as being beautiful to look at.
- Looks -
Vinta stands at around five feet and six inches tall with long electric blue hair that ends in deep black tips. This was so he would stand out in a crowd, draw the attention of whoever desired his company first and foremost and who was willing to pay the most. His hair is choppy in the front, kept short by Vinta whenever he is able to find anything to use to cut it, intending to keep his bangs out of his face as much as possible.

The butterfly aspects of his body, not counting his brightly hued hair, include a pair of wings upon his back, the outsides being dull brown while the insides are a bright, electric blue surrounded by black, which is where his hair colors came from. He has no antennae, but he does have a slim build and rather long legs considering his height.

He was bred to be as human-like as possible, seeing as what he was intended for was to be a bedmate for lonely rich ladies...and possibly gentlemen if they so desired. Since he has no antennae and his eyesight actually happens to be rather poor, he is either required to be led around somehow or given correctional lenses to help with his sight, which usually ends up adding to his appeal because they make him look more...refined is probably the best word. His skin, despite his appearance being mostly human, is covered with soft fuzz not unlike what would cover a butterfly, but it isn't very noticeable.

In keeping with him being an insect he has dark eyes, though they appear more humanoid that most other insects' might.
- Abilities -
He can kind of hover a couple inches off the ground. He weighs too much to actually fly.
- Other -
He has a definite fondness for flowers and will sometimes go out of his way to at least pick some to carry around with him.

Also my easter weekend was basically just a normal weekend. xD

((If I sketch out anything of him I'll add it in uvu'))

- Name - Zhee Coron
- Age - 15
- Gender - Female
- Species - Platycryptus, more commonly known as a type of Jumping Spider from the United States.
- Personality - Zhee usually thinks of things very practically.  She doesn't look into the emotional levels of things very much, and feels very mild emotions herself.  She has strong hunting and stalking instincts, but she's sentient enough to restrain herself as long as she's not starving.  She doesn't like being in large open areas as they make her feel unsafe.  She is prone to anxiety and will usually opt to avoid things that upset her whenever possible.  If she can't avoid something, there's a good chance she'll attack it.  She has conflicting feelings over other mutants, because one side of her says potential friend, while another says potential food.
- History - Zhee was bred to be a sort of home defender much like some dog breeds are.  She is intelligent to figure out whether or not someone posed a threat, but she isn't deadly enough to kill them.  All she can do is restrain them unless she gets hold of a knife or something.  She was also bred to be more friendly than other spider hybrids, as jumping spiders are known to be very calm around humans only bite when provoked.
- Looks - Zhee is rather tall for an insect hybrid, likely because she is female, but compared to humans she is a rather average height of 5'9''.  Her hair is grey with streaks of black on the sides and back of her head.  She keep her hair cut short so it doesn't get in the way.  Her skin is mottled with both pale human colors and grey spiders colors appearing in patches over her body.  Her sides have a black stripe wherever her skin shows spider colors, but in human patches the stripe doesn't show.  Her eyes are pitch black and very strong, giving her eyesight as good as a human's in the day and better than on in the night.  She also has six of them visible.  Two large ones with two smaller eyes below each.  She has eight limbs, with two being arms, two being human legs, two spiders legs just below her human arms, and two spider legs just above her hips.  Her canines are a little larger than a human's and the gums around them appear swollen from the mild venom they contain.
- Abilities - She can shoot web from the spinnerets on her hips, can spit venom, and has a pretty nasty bite.  She can also jump very far.
- Other - Her venom is not deadly.  It's more of a deterrent than anything else.  If her venom gets in someone's eyes it will hurt but it won't blind them.  If she bites someone it may cause full body pain similar to mild arthritis but really the bite itself is a bigger issue since it bleeds and all.  Also she frequently she forgets she has a last name, and rarely remembers when it actually is.  In a short moment of pity, the man who made her gave her a dog tag necklace with her name on it.  My Easter weekend wasn't very interesting.  I ate some chocolate though so that was nice.

((I haven't roleplayed in a while...  Hopefully this is okay.  <:3))

((Okay so a heads up, underneath characters there are short deions of all your characters, plus my two. Those deions are all I'm doing for my characters, because that's not how I plan to do the rp. I'm going to be like the director, setting challenges and paving the path for your characters' journey throughout the rp.

On that topic, unless I get 2 more bio's, all the insect mutations will be travelling together as a pack; safety in numbers right? The only reason you guys will function semi alright is because of your human genetics, so be sure to throw in some moments where Aggressive mutations clash together, or attack the Friendly mutations. You guys are mostly insects, so you have more moments of fight or flight, with the Aggressive preferring fight, and vice versa.

I'm going to leave this open for more character bio's for 2 days, when it will be begun.))

((Aw dang I said I'd start on Monday afternoon, it's Wednesday afternoon now. Welp, sorry. But now with no further ado, here is the beginning post.))

As soon as the chain breaks, and your hands are free; you run. There are loud noises everywhere, as so many other mutations flee for their lives.

There are many ways to escape.
You could try the tall walls, topped with electric wired barb wire.
There is also the small trap door in the ground, although there is no knowing what is down there.
The side-exit, a sign glowing exit above it. It seems relatively safe, although instinctively you are wary of it. There seem to be loud noises coming resonating from that area.
The only other way you see of escape is the large open wall, although there is some sort of shiny solid in it. On the other side, there are many 2 legged naked looking creatures screaming, running around.

What will you choose?

((Also guys, this is just the start, I'd appreciate if you let me put danger in everyone's path so no overly long posts this time.))

Abyaz didn't know what was going on, and he was very confused. It had been a long time since his hands had been free, and he'd been told that he would soon belong to someone new - he'd been prepared for that his whole life - but it didn't look as though that was going to happen. Instead, it was chaos, and there was noise everywhere. Inkdark eyes wide, Abyaz allowed his smile to slip as he looked around wildly to see what he was supposed to do. For as long as he could recall, he'd been told what to do at every turn. It would make him feel better if there was someone who would tell him what to do, instead of leaving him all at sea.

The fuzzy moth-boy didn't even consider the trap door, and not only because his wings might get crumpled if he used it - it would simply be too small for him to cope with, he'd only wind up freezing and whimpering. The door was out as well - he'd been trained to only use doors when he was supervised by a human, and there were none by his side. That left the walls, and the open sky. He had felt drawn to that expanse every time he'd glimpsed it, and had relished every chance he'd had to sample its delights. True, he'd been on a leash each time, but he'd loved each flight even so. Which wall was least noisy? He didn't like lots of loud noises, they usually meant that people were angry and upset, and that was never good. The tall ones seemed best, given this, but he was still uncertain. Trying to come to grips with his first significant decision, Abyaz pushed off from the ground, figuring that he could get a better grip of the situation from a higher vantage point. Seeing another mutation nearby, and one who looked older than him, he called across to this nearest other being in plaintive tones. "What do I do?"

Vinta ran forward from the area in which he had been held captive moments before, using his wings to give him a little bit of extra time in the air when jumping over objects, his dark eyes narrowed. He hadn't been given anything to correct his vision, so he was figuratively flying blind, trying to squint to try to clear it enough to get him out of harm's way and possibly find another mutation like himself willing to possibly help lead him along since he could hardly see for himself.

Then he heard the shouting of a young...boy? and looked up to search for the source. Sure enough there appeared to be a moth child hovering in the air, asking what he should do.

"If you can make it over the wall, fly!" he shouted in return. Unfortunately for him, he was too heavy to properly use his wings, so he was stuck trying to find a way out on the ground while barely able to make out where he was going.
