"but.. but.. but the ohh, nevermind, we will have to prepare really well for this though. " and I set off to make each and every pack member a satchel, and got water, food, herbs, and tools for the trip, and for me, I packed a few books, for info on the creatures, you know, just in case.

i was resting on the ground nudged up against jeremy's jackal form when silverkiss handed us a satchel. "thanks, iguess we'll be on our way then?" i stood and stretched. i then put on the satchel and waited for instructions on what to do next.

"ugggh!" i was getting a little impatiant. it wasnt like mme. maybe the hormones that come with the baby. oh, well. "fine go get the antidotes. we'll be right here. waiting for you." my foot was tapping. by the time she was out of sight i dashed away, into the forest.

The fact that Luna was running from me was a problem, this was probably her first child as a were. Didn't she know a wolf's gestation period was much shorter than that of a human? And as she was a were, how many pups would she have? I grabbed the antidote and hollered at the troups, I could tell by Luna's scent that she had gone southeast, towards the tiger and lion territory. This was really bad, I knew for certain that those two territories had never sighned a treaty. So I ran after her quickly.

I looked in my book on the gestation period of wolves and panicked, 61-63 days, that was bad, bad, very bad, she could be due any day now, bad bad, very very bad. I rushed even quicker to find her.

all though my injury was gone, a sharp kick of pain hit my stomach. it stopped me in my tracks. i was panting and i placed my paw on my stomach. i whimpered as the pain hit again. i growled butthat obviously didnt help. i heard pitter patter of paws behind me and i turned to see silverkiss. "please help. im so glad your hear. my stomach hurts so bad." i frowned and showed her my stomach.

He sighs and shrugs, As she looks for a den. "any den you find out here wil either be cold, belong to a cat, or be filled with snakes, I can sleep in my brother's den for the night, I insist." He says this gently.
" he does have a really nice den." silverkiss says. "I should know. " Then she covers her mouth. "oops, uh, hehe." She runs and hides from everybody's stare as Luna's pains start to worsen.

i grunt in pain and squeeze out an agreement. "ya, i guess if you insist." jeremy trys to comfort me but my motherly wolf instincts make me snarl at him. its wolf's nature for the mothers to basically kick out the guys for a while.

Darkstar nods Kindly and helps escort Luna to his Den, although several of the females had to help carry her, if any of the males tried to help, they got a solid nip in in the hindquarters. They gently layed her down and maneuavered past the many glowering eyes of lions and tigers. Spotted fur comes in and sits next to Luna to help as a nursemaid. She puts her head to Luna's stomach and smiles. "three." she says excitedly

i groan and smile. "4 kids. tht will be a lot of work. i might have to stay here for a while until they are able to keep up." i grunt in pain again and my eyes start to glow "its time. everyone, out. i can do this myself."

spottedfur stands by the den door just in case and everyone waits. An hour, 2 hours, everyone's worried. But at sunset they hear little yelps, spottedfur is the first one in and everyone gasps, 3 beautiful little pups, two girls, one boy,all the colors of their parents.One is pure silver like jeremy, with black on it's tail tip and ears and paws, one that is black with a silvery muzzle, and one that is pure black. All three have tiny closed eyes. (spottedfur) I look at the precious little bundles of joy and have to leave the tent, it brings to man memories. Silverkiss seems reluctant to leave the side of the bed. I wonder why.

i wasnt to happy about the idea of people crowding my pups. and i made that very clear. i got up and standed gaurd. growling and nipping at the others until they were all out. the only one that i couldnt get out of the den was silverkiss. i moved the pups to where she was at some diatance away. i layed down in front of them just to give more protection.

Silverkiss stares sadly at the pups, only going when Luna moves the pups and she is about to cry. She excused herself and cried behind a tree.NightEmber comes up behind me in his cat lion form while I am still in my human. He nudges my hand up on his head and I pet his soft velvety fur.I crouch down next to him and rest my head on his broad black chest. He puts his big black paw on my back and hugs me. "it's okay." he whispered in my ear. Tears stream down my face. "no it's not, It's not okay! We lost them, we lost them." I collapse and sob into his neck." why did they die, why!It's an awful feeling to have two delicate creatures die inside of you, and it was all my fault, all mine!" I sobbed again, still stressed, " I want them back, I want my daughter and son back, for them to be alive, not for me to have lost them, I lost them inside of me, A weak before they were due." I slid onto the ground and cried until there was a mud puddle next to me and I still let my head sit there and get caked in the sticky earth until NightEmber picked me up and put me on his back to take me back to camp. He slept next to me that night, protecting me from my fear of the world, and of myself. But before I went to sleep I asked myself one question, Why does everything I love have to leave?
