"Okay, students," said the teacher, Mrs. Emery. "Choose new partners, okay? Girls stand in the front, boys in the back. Same gender partners is fine." A few people giggled. Lewis stood in the corner of the back, trembling and practically clinging to the back wall. He didn't really know anyone in the cl*censored*, so if he was chosen by some random person, he'd die. Maybe literally, too. A few males away, Keith stood tall, and in the middle stood Jerrad. Both of them looked a little bored. "Girls choice, alright?" Mrs. Emery said.

Lewis' head snapped up. "Alright, go on, Lewis," Mrs. Emery said, and Lewis slowly made his way over to where Brittany was standing. His face was red, and he found that he was actually a little shorter than Brittany. It made his face go even redder. Hopefully, when he got his second growth spurt, he would grow taller than her. Much taller, preferably.
