Keith nodded quickly. "Uh, sure, sure." he said just as quickly, and he pushed the hand he had offered to Brittany into his pocket. "Um, do you need help getting up?" he asked awkwardly.

( D: Why...? )

"Sure, sure," Keith swallowed, and he pulled out his phone. "Um, my house is just down the street. Do you want me to drive you there myself or should I call an ambulance?"

Keith nodded, dialing 911 and asking for an ambulance. It wasn't long before a red-and-white truck came over, and a paramedic came out. "What happened?" he asked, glancing from the car to Brittany.

Too frightened to speak, Keith stood frozen.

( D: I'm sorry. The red flash thing wasn't going off, so I thought you hadn't replied. e.e
I was kind of like, "Wth, Flare? >:U" )

The paramedic laughed, and waved Brittany over to the ambulance. "Come on, girly. You can walk, can't you?" he said, joking.

"No." Brittany protested. She didn;t feel like walking.

Again, he laughed. "Alright, alright," The paramedic walked over, pulling her into his arms and carrying her like a baby into the ambulance. He looked over his shoulder once he had sat Brittany down in the truck, wondering what Keith was still doing standing over there like a freak. "Um, who's he?" he asked Brittany, gesturing to Keith.

The paramedic gave Brittany a look that kind of read, "Well!" and then he cupped a hand over his mouth, shouting, "Yo, kid over there!" Keith shook his head, blinking. "Are you comin'?"

Keith stared, giving his brain a moment to process the situation, then nodded, running over and hopping into the ambulance. He sat down next to Brittany, and the paramedic shut the door, going to the front and sitting down next to the driver.

Keith led Brittany into the hospital, and a nurse came over and ushered them into a small, curtained room. It was cute, actually, with little duckies trailing up the wall and flowers in the corner. Keith sat down in one of the chairs, and the nurse told Brittany to sit down in one of those doctor's office chairs that are covered in paper.

The nurse came back, and she murmured something. She looked up, blinking at both Keith and Brittany. She spoke louder: "We're going to need x-rays of your wrist, Brittany. Could you come with me, honey?" Then, she paused. "And, we've alerted your parents. They should be at the hospital soon."
