"I'm talking about those Pidgeys." She growled, flicking her tail toward the damaged Pidgeys. But her gaze softened and she smiled a bit. "But I suppose we could battle. I haven't had one of those in a long while. Do you want me to make the first move or...? Too late!" And then she sprung at Jade, her teeth parted in a wide grin. She bowled her over and pinned her down with one paw, the other lashing her lightly with glowly dark purple claws-Shadow claw. |

The non-shiny sentret, though with lighter fur. Personality: Bubbly, likes to have fun. Cookie is rather slow, and sometimes needs to have a little boost before he realizes what everyone else is doing and that he should be doing it too.
Tries to make friends with everyone, which is kind of a bad thing, because once he got stung in the... ahem.... -cough cough- by an angry beedrill.
He has this inner-rage thing inside of him, and when he gets really angry, which doesn't happen to often, (0.1/9999999999999 chance) he turns into a bunch of dynomite. o3o |

((I wanted him to be kind of the sort-of-stupid-but-cute-sidekick-friend-helper-pokemon. 8D I don't know how to start... it seems like it's only me and you on right now.))
Cookie's ears perked. "I hear a wild cookie!" he whispered excitedly to his pal-friend, Trest.
Not waiting for a reply, he slinked into the tall grass, his poofy tail twitching slightly. He pounced, and landed on something, which squeaked indignantly. Cookie tumbled off it, surprsed a cookie could make such a noise.
He looked up, and he realized it was a shiny brown radish. He blinked. It had definitely been a cookie a second ago! His cookie-sense had never failed him before.
He turned to Trest, a small tear in his eye. "It wasn't a cookie," he said sadly, going to sit beside her.

Jade snarled in a high pitched sort of way that could make anyone laugh. Her eyes flashed with the usual mischief they always held as she smiled darkly. "Think you can pull a fast one, do ya? Well I gotta few tricks too." With out any hesitation she let loose her Confuse Ray to blow the Absol off of her small form. She flipped back around, pausing to look at Cookie. "Can't you see I am just a tad bit busy? I'll help you locate your lost cookie later." She panted to her cookie loving friend. Turning her attention back to the battle she waited for the next move, ready to dodge at a seconds notice. her breathing was heavier than normal and she now knew that using Confuse Ray had been a bad idea. She hoped that besides the impact of blowing her opponent backwards that the confusion would effect the foe.

((Oh, I guess Cookie could actually be there at the scene, because, as I said, he's a bit slow. XD Don't change it, and just pretend now mine says Jade, not whatever I put. XD))
Cookie blinked. Why was that absol hurting Jade? He blinked again, waddling over to the absol. "Stop hurting her!" he whimpered, staring angrily at the absol. He was not going to let this absol hurt his cookie-finding helper friend.
Cookie had never actually successfully pulled off a proper move, but he could try. Normally he just punched and kicked like a human.

Jade hung her head with a sigh. "No Cookie. I'm in a battle, we are supposed to fight. I was the one who asked for it anyway, silly. You know I will be alright come sundown. Then we can look for your cookies, but right now it is battle time. You should sit back before you accidentally get hit with one of our moves." She explained, not moving from her position. She loved her friend Cookie, but honestly he could get a little annoying at times. Too young to really understand yet. She told herself, almost laughing at her friends valiant efforts to save her from a battle.

Cookie turned his large eyes to Jade, then shrugged. "Okay." he walked over to a tree and leaned on it, his eyes darting from Jade to the absol. Jade would win, totally. Cookie nodded to himself confidently. Jade wouldn't lose.
he looked up, and realized he was leaning against an apple tree. His mouth watered. Next to cookies, apples were his favourite.
He shimmied up the tree into the lower branched. He reached up his paw. The apple was so close. He moved up the branch a little more. His paw wrapped around the apple, and he shimmied down with his prize in paw.
He sat down again, crunching the juicy red fruit.
((If apples don't exist in the pokemon world, shoot me. X3 ))

Soul sputtered as she fell back. She fell over a few times and banged into a rock. She fell down at that, but the hit to the head snapped her out of confusion. She looked at Jade. "Nice one." She stopped for a moment, and sat down where she was. She tilted her head towards the ground and closed her eyes. A small purple-black aura was forming at her paws. When her blood red eyes open, they were gleaming with a playfull-like evilness. She raised her paws to her chest, and then suddenly thrust them foward. Inside her two massive paws was a ball of shadows. A smirk passed her face and she threw it as hard as she could, and the ball hurtled toward Jade. |

Jade gasped and was forced to think quickly. The oncoming attack was way too large for her to dodge alone and she growled with frustration. Suddenly an idea came to her and she smiled. Dashing forward she used Quick Attack, aiming straight for the oncoming shadow ball. Just before she collided with it, she used Screetch. The new move disrupted the current shadow ball enough so that the momentum from her last move carried her through the shadow ball. She came down hard though, slightly twisting her paw as she landed. Using her quick attack again, she raced for the Absol but never made it. A stone she over looked caused her to trip and further twist her ankle. She fell onto her face, moaning with pain. She was still exhausted from the Confuse Ray and mixed with the slight damage she took from pas.sing through an attack left her vulnerable and defeated.

Cookie stood up. Jade was loosing! He growled a bit. Jade never lost. Never. It wasn't possible. Was it? He pomdered it. If Jade would always win, what about the pokemon who faced her? What if that pokemon never lost? Would it be tie? Or maybe, Jade almost always won, and sometimes lost to the pokemon who always won?
Cookie shrugged. He didn't like thinking like that. Too confusing. He looked at the absol. It would take advantage of Jade falling, of course.
((Wow, writing that piece of Cookie thinking made my head hurt. X3 ))

Soul knew a chance when she saw one. She crept slowly toward Jade, her claws unseathed. They glowed purple once again and looked even sharper then before. Once she approached Jade her claws quickly scraped againist her side. Not hard enough to make her bleed, but most likely hard enough to make her faint. She slowly said under her breath, "I'm not a bad Absol. I'm not a bad Absol." |
