Chosser

The npc looked up from where he was watching two other players spar and nodded as he gazed at Chosser. "Indeed you did. Good job lad! Here is your reward for a job well earned." The Nov nodded his head once and waved a hand in front of the boy. Almost immediately, a small screen popped up in front of the player.
Congratulations, quest completed.
You have received 20 xp.

Miriam

The first thing the raptor like creatures did when they heard the dying call of their friend was look up from their food. Being out of battle for a little bit, Miriam had the chance to recover one of her post hit points but not both before both sets of wind callers charged towards her. One pair, however, seemed much angrier than the other and was less likely to be dissuaded with food from attacking.

Miriam yelped as she saw the Windcallers running up to her, hissing and yowling. All boars had fled from the area. Reaching down and grasping a loaf, she charged it and threw it far enough away--or at least hopefully--to get them off of her back while she dealt with the two that were dead set on her demise.

Readying her sword as it began to glow a pale blue, the woman prepared to parry--or attempt to parry--at least one of the Windcallers.

Oliver
Oliver also seemed to be one of the few who moved towards the north, following the road not very far before the houses disappeared and a large hill slopped forward. Homes could be seen dotting the hillside and a rather nice looking dirt road travelled up the side of the hill, winding around. If you were to travel up that hill, you would see grassy fields, flowers springing almost everywhere from the ground. A spire stood tall and proud, surrounding by an alcove of rocks. Gravestones marked the ground around the spire and flowers grew up from the patches of grass around the graves.
These stones were obviously just NPC graves... though you could expect there to soon be headstones of actual players there. It wasn't an ominous cemetery either... but one that showed life in death. Continuing up the pathway you could see a large jutting out of the wall that surrounded the town, watchtowers looking out over the wall and big double down gates that obviously lead out into the level one floor beyond.

Rosa's eyes open. A soft light is peeking through her window; it must be morning. She gets up and flings her feet off the bed, then opens her menu to look at the time. It was about 9 am- She might as well get on finding that lubricant for Grandfather Mo. She takes the plate with a few leftovers on it- packs up the leftovers, of course- and returns down the stairs with the key. She carefully placed the key and the plate on the bar, then left the building. At the three way road she turns west, then north- towards the armory she saw yesterday. Perhaps she could find some oil there- for where else would she find some?

Miriam Fortitude vs WC's Attack
6 vs 3

Parry was successful and Miriam manages to push the monster back away from herself.

The second WC charged forward during these moments however to attack with Bite!
Miriam's Fortitude vs WC's Agility + Attack
5 vs. 7
Miriam is hit for 2 damage.

It is now Miriam's turn.

Miriem had managed to parry one Windcaller, but in doing so had thrown herself off-balance and nearly stumbled; the Windcaller's companion launched forward and closed its jaws around her arm.
Deciding to go for the one who got a Bite in, she swooped low in an attempt to chop off at least a part of its leg, and if all else failed, knock it over at the cost of rolling beneath it.

Shadly nodded and thanked him before walking back to the desk she had sat at only minutes ago.
"How much for a room?" She asked.

Vynessa grinned at the NPC Diana, however with the addition of a name, she seemed much less like a none player character and more like a person.  "Well Diana, at that price, I could hardly decline. " She informed the barwoman , a smirk on her face.
Paying out what was due, The blonde continued to sit at the bar as she waited for the food and room key. Turning her head slightly to face the musically inclined duo of NPC's who she decided would be Barny and Ted She began to tap her foot as her eyes zipped around a bit. "Diana, does being a little set back from the centre of town decrease to amount of revenue at all?" She questioned, noting that there were not very many, if any Players here. It was taken into account that players this early on had a standard colored tunic and breastplate along with gloves and either a skirt or a pair of pants. She had chosen the latter in character creation when she started up the 'game' not that it mattered either way, she just preferred trousers.
Anyway, it seemed like there was only one other player in here, however they were keeping to themself.

Miriam -12HP- :

This time, rather than aim for somewhere small, Miriam aimed for a much more prominent part of the Wind Caller's anatomy. Their feet. It was a simply thing really to slash into the things legs. Smart too. If she had been inciteful enough, she would have realized that it was a good idea from the beginning.

Mariam's Attack vs WC's defense
6 vs 3
The attack is successful!

The hp of the WC drops by 3. From your previous battle you know these guys have 8HP to begin with.

However, because you attacked it's legs, the creature is now leaning heavily on its noninjured leg and it can no longer lunge forward to use bite!

[[ this RP moves so fast :O Its good that Lake is here as a GM, different time zone people would be left out if it wasnt for that]]

Angus picked a rock from the ground and throw it at the boar as hard as he could, gaining the mobs attention.

"Ha!" Miriam yelled, charging up her sword one last time to thrust deep within the Windcaller's chest.

"Players Disappeared? Do you mean they are MIA or the beta testers that ran off?"
Iccarus leaned forward eager for the bartenders answer. Thoughts raced through his head. "I wonder if they are alive. People couldn't have died already. This is really serious.'

"Thanks," he said, nodding and watching the screen fade away. His eyes flicked up to the sky again, which was now mostly black, aside from a sliver moon and a few stars. Chosser was still amazed by how well this world was designed, even if it was his prison at the moment.

"Quick question," the man said, addressing the NPC again. "Where would I be able to find the nearest inn?"

Shadly:

The woman, Diana, who had been talking to Vynessa previously looked over at the girl at the bar, frowning just a little to see it was the one from before. However, the frown was pushed away and she put on a business like front. "25g for a night's stay," She replied with a nod, doing her best to appear calm as she glanced back towards the room where her husband was still cleaning up the inventory from today's customers.

[[You two are in the same place at the same time so you are going in the same post... because of reasons >X>]]

Vynessa:
With a bit of assurance that her husband wasn't going to come out any time soon, the woman turned back to Vynessa. "Not at all. We are far more secure here than the other inns in town. We've hired our own guards to protect the inn from thieves and such." She waved a hand as if to brush off the topic, shuffling about on her short pudgy legs to get a food platter out for the girl, adding on just a little extra in thanks for the conversation. Most people at the bar didn't bother to strike up a conversation if it wasn't about quests. "Jensen and I run it by ourselves but we make a good livelyhood here. Not to mention the fact that we have the best band in town come play every evening."

Angus:

The boar glances over, red eyes narrowing as it snorts and paws once at the ground like a bull would. A second or two later, it charges, heading for Angus with a gleam in it's eye.
