Miriam:

The man raised a hand to his chin, rubbing it quickly. "There are some decent hunting grounds if you go to your left after you pass the gate. Plenty of horned boar and dire wind callers there for you to practice on. Though the wind callers tend to fly at you in groups so you should watch out for that."

He raised a finger quickly, remembering something. "Oh, and if you happen to gather twenty or so pristine heart feathers from those wind callers, you can bring them back here to me. I'll pay yah for them."

A small quest bar blinked up in front of Miriam with a button "Accept or Decline" next to it. The text read:

Deliver twenty completely unscathed heart feathers to Inn keeper.
Reward: 200 gold and 200 exp.

[[Smart, asking him about that. I didn't think you would get that quest]]

Shivering despite the warm air, Oliver leaned back against the wall of a... Oh, a bar... Pub... Thing. He blinked and shook his head to clear it.

Don't panic don't panic don't panic do-

Where had everyone gone anyway? He was sure he heard mention of "the northern gate" but certainly there would still be stragglers in his part of town. Oh well, the northern gate was closer to where he was anyway.

((I am so sorry omgod))

Shadly couldn't believe her ears. How could they possibly be stuck here?
Her thoughts reeled, but she knew she had to think rationally; otherwise she wouldn't last long.
She grabbed the map that had been added to her inventory, her hands shaking nervously. She decided she should try to level up as fast as she could, to better protect herself against monsters.
People were in chaos around here, scrambling. She had to elbow her way through the crowd to escape.

((If anything is wrong with these please tell me I just feel like I've missed a bunch o.o)

Miriam grinned at the menu screen before her, teeth glinting white in contrast to her dark lips.
"Will do. I'll get back to you soon. Do you have any advice on taking them down?" she mentioned. If they attack in hordes, there's no way I could take them all on at once. There has to be a way.

Shadly

Shadly seemed to be one of the few who moved towards the north, following the road not very far before the houses disappeared and a large hill slopped forward. Homes could be seen dotting the hillside and a rather nice looking dirt road travelled up the side of the hill, winding around. If you were to travel up that hill, you would see grassy fields, flowers springing almost everywhere from the ground. A spire stood tall and proud, surrounding by an alcove of rocks. Gravestones marked the ground around the spire and flowers grew up from the patches of grass around the graves.
These stones were obviously just NPC graves... though you could expect there to soon be headstones of actual players there. It wasn't an ominous cemetery either... but one that showed life in death. Continuing up the pathway you could see a large jutting out of the wall that surrounded the town, watchtowers looking out over the wall and big double down gates that obviously lead out into the level one floor beyond.

Miriam:

The bartender shook his head before giving her a clever smile. "I've already given you exactly what you need to take them down," He hinted before turning towards another player that had come up to the bar. It was clear then that the conversation wasn't going to go any farther.

Shadly thought it would be a good idea to head towards the flowers. Her mother had been an herbalist and had passed down many recipes to her. She figured if she could make a few simple things, she could sell them, or even use them herself if she needed. She decided to go inspect the flowers and see what they were. The graveyard seemed a bit ominous though and she felt a bit eerie as she went.

((Done and done :u))

Scowling, Miriam shrugged and thanked the bar tender before walking out of the bar and jogging to the southern exit gate. She took in the landscape before turning to face the left. She could see a few player characters fighting boars, most clearly struggling, but seeing how early it was there weren't all that many. She began walking at a brisk pace heading to the fields, trying to think of a strategy.
Obviously I need to separate one from its pack. But I can't herd them away...an idea suddenly came to her and she grinned.

Shadly

A few small animals, specifically rabbits and a squire or two, scampered through the grassy fields. None of which payed any real attention to Shadly as she moved through the flowers. Sadly, the flowers here were not of the same type as they were in the real world. They were hardly comparable at all to herbs that you might find there. Until you level up in herbalism or mending, it was not possibly to identify any of these flowers as usable in remedies. However, they are very pretty?

Miriam:

The grasslands were spiked with rocks every now and then but the scenery was beautiful. Large masses of land floated above their heads and perhaps oneday, someone would even manage to get up onto those places. Who knows what could be up there. For now though, players of all types were battling through the monsters here, quickly making them despawn almost as fast as they appeared. Some were struggling with much difficulty and others... others, no matter how hard they tried and no matter how many other players would run to their rescue, would slowly creep down to 0 and shatter like glass into nothing.

The areas closest to the town were the most occupied by players and few had dared venture farther out. Perhaps they hadn't bothered to ask the inn keeper where the best hunting grounds were. Either way, the monsters were not capable of spawning fast enough to satisfy 10k worth of players.

However, before Miriam could even get to the hunting ground, but far enough that they were out of sight of the town and other players, some snuffling noises came from a large cluster of trees and shrubs.

Personality: Because I can never stick to a personality, please forgive me

Chosser is very playful, always poking fun and making jokes. If you ever need someone to lighten the mood, he's your guy. He is definitely a social butterfly, if you want to put it that way. He is very extrovert and usually gets depressed if left alone too long. Needless to say, he has a few separation issues. He also has a very low temper, so it takes a /lot/ to set him off.

History: Chosser was born into a bad family. His mother and father were constantly fighting, and when he was ten, they split. By then he had a sister [Marie 5] and a brother [Jacob 2]. They went to live with their mother, and they lived a hard life. Chosser was working constantly to help provide for his family, so they scraped by. Five years later, when Chosser was fifteen, his mother died. Due to some legal issues, they were put into an orphanage until he was eighteen, and took his brother and sister with him to start a new life. He now lives with Marie and Jacob, and is working full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. Marie is also working, but only part-time, due to the fact Chosser insists she needs to focus on school.

Your
ability to block an attack someone is using on you. The higher this
level is, the stronger attacks you can block. There is a chance of you taking some minor damage with each block but there is also a chance of you being able to counter attack immediately after. This will be decided by your speed skills and their strength skills. If their strength skill is higher than your speed skill, you won't even have a chance to attack again since your block will just barely be capable of withstanding their attack. If your speed is higher than their strength, there is a 3% chance (at lvl 1, mind you. the chance gets higher the higher the level of parry) that you will be able to get another clean hit in.

Shadly cursed under her breath. She had no clue what any of these were.
She decided to gather a few anyway, maybe they would be useful later.
She took out her her map studying it carefully. She returned it before deciding she would head west from where she was.

[[Love, she has no idea where the inn actually is. You only know what you've discovered

Edit: Once all the parts of the town will be discovered, the map will be complete and sent out to everyone. Meaning, once at least one of you has dicovered something in every part of it, even if it's just one person to the tailor, another to the blacksmith, and so on, all of you will know. Until then, you just know what you discovered. ]]

The mixed-race 19 year old froze as she heard the scuffling around. She weighed the options and looked for a pebble. Finding one, she took aim and threw it into the bushes.

Miriam:

Was it the best option? Who knows. Either way, what was done was done. The charged up pebble, glowing blue, was shot into the bush and a squeak resulted from the foliage. Trampling sounds grew to rapid fire and out of the bushes appeared a Frenzy boar:

These creatures do not attack unless provoked, which Miriam did. However, it is common knowledge that they are the equivalent of the slime of the game. Miriam would have seen other players fighting them closer to the gates.

Combat Initiated:
Miriam has first attack, her speed it higher.

Miriam laughed once, more of a bark, unsheathing her sword as it charged up. She mentally ran through the combat section in the guidebook. Her simple sword glowing a pale blue, she charged at the boar with a yell, swinging fiercely at its snout.
