"Thanks" he sighed and took out his pocket knife. He locked around and spotted a snake just siting thair,just waching them "How about some rattle snake? Or one as a pet?" he joked about to fling it at the snake. He threw it over to the snake's side and wach it ball up and start rattling it's tail. "I aint' affraid of you." he laughed. He looked over at Emily and back to the snake. He walked over to the cabin and grabbed his shot gun, he alked over to the snake and picked it up on the shot gun and walked over away from the cabin, and into the dark. He lied it down and walked back to Emily and the bucket of deer meet. He carried the gun back in side and let out a loud sigh.

Emily rolled her eyes at his impatience. She continued to look at the moon and its beauty,but then turned her attention towards the deer. It smelt done so she hopped down and took it off the rotisserie. She layed it on the table, and cut it up into chunks, so they could save it for later. She took only small bites, knowing that her run later would make her even hungrier than she was now. She looked over at Chase and his eating habits surprised her. He was one of the cleanest eaters she'd seen, but then again she's the only person she's really seen eat besides herself. "Don't go following me tonight Chase", she smiled. "Else i may have to kill ya", she joked.

He nodded his head "Ehh, well." he shrugged "I could be behinf the brush and you not no it, or even behind a tree." he laughed. He dugg into the medium rare deer steak and stood up, he took a few bites from it and walked over to the creek beside the cabin. He picked four wild ouin's and gave two to her and kept two. He took a few more bites of the deer steak "So, to tell ya the truth I got up about at twelev, one a clock." he shrugged "Today is really the day I had off really. Becuse it's friday and I've been workin really hard with the cabin and all this week." he sighed.

"Trust me I would know Chase", she smiled, biting down into another apple then threw it down. She listened to Chase some more then gawked at the time he got up." You get up so late there buddy boy", she walked over and patted him on the stomach jokingly."You're going to grow a gut there", she giggled. She always touched Chase, but every time she did it gave her little butterflies.

He shook his head and laughed "Yeah, I just need some whates." he shrugged. He took another bite from the deer and then tok a bite out of the ounion. He put the ounion down and put her arm around her neck. "I get up too late." he laughed.

She layed her head down on his shoulder and sighed. "Yeah go lift a few trees or something", she joked. She watched the moon and could feel herself drifting off. She knew that if she was going to leave tonight that she would have to stay up until Chase fell asleep. Emily hoped that was going to be soon. She smiled at him and continued watching the fire. She imagined herself running through the forest, just as free as ever and the moonlight bouncing off of her white shiny fur.

He nodded "Wish I could." he laughed. He looked around and sighed, he gazed off at the fire and looked over to Emily. He listened to the call of owls and smiled at the ight of two of them side by side "Look" he said pointing at them.

Emily cuddled closer to him and she listened to the owls, and then looked up as Chase pointed them out to her. "Wow, they're pretty", she spoke softly, as not to scare them off. One was white, and the other a brown creamy color. She looked at them as if they were her and Chase. She felt bad for thinking like that but she wondered if maybe they hid secrets from each other like her and Chase. She hoped that he didn't have any secrets that he kept from her, and she blushed because Emily had quite a few secrets hidden away from Chase, but only for his sake.

He looked down at her and smiled wondering what they would do tomarrow. He looked back up at the owls. They fkew away togather following one another side by side. He then wondered about ten years back, how did she save him? Why did she? He looked down and kicked a bit of dust into the air. "I was wondering.. Why did you save me yen years ago?" he asked.

Emily hoped that he'd never ask her that question but deep down she knew that the day would come. She looked up at him and sighed." Chase, we're best friends. I wasn't going to let my best friend die in a fiery inferno right before my very eyes. I care about you too much", she smiled. She scooted closer to him and layed her head back down against his shoulder, and put her arms in her lap.

Emily blushed a bit and looked up at him as well."I'm not sure Chase", she laughed. She also looked at the fire and wondered what their future held for them. She hoped that he would never find out her secret, but knew that maybe it was inevitable for him to find out. Sooner or later he would get too curious about her running off at nights and early in the mornings.

She nodded smiling back at him. She wanted to wait until he fell asleep to go but the moon was just right. She bit down on her bottom lip hoping he would go to bed soon. She sat waiting, as he held her in his arms and she played along with the smiles. She was happy, but wished that she could tell him her secret. Then he could come with her. Maybe he would like riding on her back through the night time. Then again...she knew biting him would... She shook her head free of the thought."No biting him", she thought to herself.

He looked back at the fire and looked at her "Alright, I'm gonna' go to bed now." he sighed. He looked down and pulled back and went to the rosting deer meat. He took of the stick and pulled off all the deer meat "You want anymore?" he asked. He pulled up the bucket and set it inside. He put down the rosted onto a random plate with another sigh.

Emily smiled and stood up."OK Chase", she walked over to the cabin door and opened it. She walked in and climbed into her shower on the opposite side of the cabin. She turned on the water and it became steaming hot instantly. she climbed in and gasped a bit. It was really hot but then she moaned a bit. It felt nice on her skin and she thought about Chase. "oh Chase...", she sighed. She loved him, but she just didn't want him to know about her secret.
