With a frisky glance at Kalika, Zephyra snapped, “I wasn’t worried about you. I worry about no one.” She felt like a wild filly stuck in a corral and the wrangler was finally getting to her. She didn’t want to give in and run, but this demon was intimidating. When he said, “You try to run and I'll catch you, so don't bother,” she couldn’t help but shiver. Pursing her lips, Zephyra was about to say a smart remark when he mentioned a lover. The comment made her raise her eyebrows and smirk. Well, isn’t that charming. The lover in question appeared and kissed the demon soundly. Zephyra rubbed her palms on her jeans wish she could give them privacy. Hilarious to think these two are sharing something so publicly what I have never experienced. When a strange dog came up to the group Zephyra had almost crept off the chair when Sumnor, as the lover called him, pinned her with a hard stare. Hoping that a silent stare would bore him, Zephyra let out a small, embarra.ssing squeal when he slammed a palm on the table. Her midnight-blue eyes wide, she growled, “All I want to do is enjoy my hot coco, and you have to come and hara.ss me. I don’t answer to you, so leave me be.” Why is he so persistent! No one ever cared before. Her fingers tapped a nervous rythum on her cup, as she judged the distance to the door. I could make it there in less than four seconds if I shift to my demi-cheeta form…but that would expose me to the public. And Zephyra knew what a mess that could be. Looking at the male demon, who seemed to be in charge, she whispered, “I’ll just leave if you don’t mind.” Glancing over at the lavender haired girl, Kalika, she mumbled, “And you should come with me. You owe me.”
