Zephyra slammed on the brakes. “What a nut case!” she growled as a girl jumped on the hood of her car. “Don’t you dare be denting my car!” The girl had long, silky hair that looked…purple? Her eyes were large brown pools. She has an odd smell, not bad but…different. Putting the Jaguar on park, she killed the engine. Slipping out of the door, she hissed, “I wasn’t going to hit you! Are you crazy?”

With a feral rumble deep in her throat, Zephyra looked at the haze. It was all that was left of the strange girl. Her hand flipped some hair off her shoulder. “Ella esta loca,” she muttered under her breathe. Turning to the hood once again she looked at it. Two little marks scratched it. Her blue eyes turned a deep navy as fury boiling in the pit of her stomach. “Ella pagará por esto!” Kicking a rock across the street, Zephyra spat, “I will find you, and make you pay!” Zephyra took a calming breath, and tried to keep the beast from coming out. She normally kept a cool face, but anyone who hurts her baby goes to her back side instantly. Stroking the black hood, Zephyra promised her a nice waxing when they got home.

Sliding back into the leather driver’s seat Zephyra felt as if she was sucked into the comfiest lazy-boy chair. Turning the key until the engine rolled over into a roaring purr, she sped off home. What an odd girl, she thought. Appears out of nowhere and jumps on my car. My car! Stroking the steering wheel as if to sooth the cars feelings, Zephyra leaned back, and sighed deeply. Turning up the stereo she grinned when Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin came on. “I wonder what she was…definitely not a were-animal.” Zephyra murmured, “But she was something odd…”
