Rukalet loose a snarl at the golden dragon; he was not some curious little critter to be looked down at. "Who I am does not matter, but this gathering, and the production of it, is greatly angering myself and many others!"

Peeke hissed in return, saying, "And who are you to speak for those 'others'? They have not come here to complain, they have not gathered; it is only you, wingless thorn!"

Salaar dropped from his perch to the ground to get a better view of the strange dragon. Many others were doing the same though it visibly agitated the already angry dragon. At this pace, a fight was sure to break out.

Shislan looked around her. The dragon that started the dragonsong hissed at the thorny one, while others leered at them. The only one that didn't snarl at the thorny wingless dragon was a black dragon with glowing red wings, who merely looked curious. "Don't shout!" Shislan cried at the hissing dragon. She never liked fighting. She turned back to the thorny dragon. "I'm sorry if we have disturbed you." She said earnestly.

 Zephyr watched the golden dragon talk to the thorny dragon. She seemed unafraid of him, of any dragon, in fact. 'Strange. Usually fire and ice would be spouting all over the forest by now.' Zephyr thought. 'This certainly is an interesting night.'

Peeke, startled by the golden dragon's sudden retort, reeled. she no longer liked the golden female at all. Her perfect hide, perfect voice, and now this perfect mannerism! She growled at the gold before leaping into the air, her sleek form quickly vanishing as she dove towards the trees, wanting to get away from that frustrating situation as quickly as possible.

Ruka glared at the golden female, saying, "I don't need your sympathy, female." Despite his words, the thorny spines retracted a bit, easing the scale of his frightening appearance.

Salaar sighed, somewhat relieved that no fight was going to break out. Whenever such incidents occured, the atmosphere of the forest was terribly strained and uneasy for days, sometimes weeks on end. Satisfied that nothing would occur, Salaar turned away, ready to go back to sleep; this was enough excitement for one night.

Shislan tipped her head to one side. "My name is not female." She retorted. "My name is Shislan." Her voice was merely curious. She thought the male dragon was quite odd, though she felt less intimidated by him when his thorns retracted.

Zephyr watched the dragon lift off from his tree. The force that she used had tipped the tree, causing him to sway on the tip. Zephyr was a light dragon, so lifting off was done smoothly. When any normal wingless animal would have fallen, Zephyr was hovering in the air. 'Back to the skies.' He thought, his wings beating down and lifting him higher into the air.

Yukita sat with her brother, staring up at the moon. She spread her wings open to take in the light her scales glowing silver. "Brother, I think I am going to fly now." SHe turned her head to her brother Yusharan. He was a black dragon built for destruction while she was a silver dragon who was born to be gentle. She took a couple of steps before leaping into the air, taking off was easier for her than it was for Yusharan just because she was slightly smaller than him.

Yusharan watched as his sister leaped gracefuly into the air. He rose and took a running head start before leaping for the stars. His sister could only be seen in the moonlight, even for dragons she was difficult to see during the day, and sometimes he envied her for that. He felt each muscle under his scales move as his m*censored*ive wings pulled him over his sister. He usualy stayed back a bit unseen until another dragon gets to close to her, then he wards them off.

Lowee poked his nose outside the cave, sniffing the air. "Good." He mumbled. "Nothing near." He looked up at the sky. "The moon is glowing brightly today." Lowee said, irritated by its brightness. He saw a small dragon shape cross the moon, followed by another one. 'Same species, perhaps.' He observed. 'None of my business.' Lowee thought, retreating back into the cave.

Yukita caught the scent of another dragon and looked down in time to see one retreat back into a cave. Without saying a word to Yusharan, Yukita dived for the cave shifting her wings so she could land soflty. "Well that should give me a minute." She said to her slef before turning to the cave.
"Hello?" She poked her nose into the cave wondering who lived there.

"Yukita!" Yusharan growled. "Always poking her nose where it doesnt belong." He made a loop and began the decent down hoping that what ever she was doing didnt end with her hurt.
