Yukita walked in silence to the edge of the city, not bothering to look down the buisy street before crossing. She jumped out of the way of each car ignoring their unkind words. She walked down the last block to the edge of the forest and continued walking even as she began to shift. She felt her bones stretch and herself shrink and was soon running through the trees. Yukita came to a clearing that gave a clear view of the moon, sitting back she howled to the family above a tear rolling through her fur.

Andrew walked in the dark neighborhood. He looked up and saw many stars and a beautiful full moon. He smirked as he kept walking through his neighborhood. He just moved to a new neighborhood, in a little apartment. His parents didn't want to deal with him anymore, so they give him money every week so he could stay away. Just the thought made Andrew frown again as he kept walking.

As he walked, he saw the forest not far from where he was, he remembered when he used to live with his parents. He'd always go in the forest to just run away from the world that hated and judged him for his flaws. He looked back at the path he was going through, that led him to his apartment again, then back at the path to the forest. He smirked, as he walked through the path to the forest, just wanting a glimpse of his used to be life.  

The moon was directly over head, Yukita stood up and began to trot back the way she came. She had only made it half way when she heard footsteps, human footsteps and Yukita crouched behind a bush and watched as a red haired boy of only about 16 emerged from behind a tree. She bared her teeth and accidentaly let a snarle slip. She heard her mistake and jumped from behind her hiding place ready to face what ever threat this boy might hold.

She retreated back a couple of steps answering back with her own snarl then leaping high above the ground landing on the bear's back, but slipping of and landing hard on the ground. She slunk away and lunged for the bear's eyes this time barking at the large beast.

She felt the cut close and  her eyes widened. Yukita place her back paws on his chest pushing off allowing her to stand while knocking him down. She quickly shifted and jumped over to the fallen kid placing her boot on his chest pinning him to the ground. "I'm not a rabbit. If you were smart you wouldnt have touched a wounded animal, especialy if it were a wolf that just attacked you." Yukita said coldly with her chilling stare. She pushed off lightly into the air flying to the nearest tree, racing back towards the city lights, not bothering to look back at the boy.

Yukita stopped at the edge of the forest, and looked back. She smiled at the thought of another shapeshifter, someone else who was different. She jumped up and flew to the roof of the nearest building and began running to her room where she lived alone. Once home she noticed she had a missed call from the landlord. Yukita lisnted to the message that said the room two doors down had a new tennant and that she was to make sure he didnt need anything. She sighed in frustration as she turned the machine off turning to the old desk that she did her homework on every night. "Math. Last cl*censored* of the day soill just copy off of someone. She hit the light switch and fell asleep looking at her family picture album.

Andrew started walking back home, to his apartment. When he got their he fell right asleep. He was exhausted. He climbed into bed, and slept.
