As I waited for Fenris, I started looking at the boys shirts from where I was standing, but found no joy in doing so. What was so fun about shopping for clothes? I rolled my eyes just as Fenris came out. With a smile I said, "Exactly."
Eh. There were such thing as longer shorts, but I won't tell her that. "Wanna' get anything else, or is this good?"
I said as I started taking the money out of my pocket and counting how much I needed.

Fenris nodded and said, "This is good for now." She would have to adjust to the shorts, but the shirt was okay. She observed the other girls coming out of the dressing rooms with their original clothes on, so she retreated back into the room and slipped her previous pair of clothes back on.
She walked back out with the clothes in her hand, sighed. It was claustrophobic in that dressing room, she noted. She looked back to Nicholas and said, "So, what do we do now?"

I grabbed the clothes from her hand and went over to the cashier.
"We buy them." I said before going up the counter to give the girl about my age that seemed bored to be there the clothes. After giving the money, and taking the clothes in a bag, I held the bag in my hands and said, "Well..."
I looked down at my mothers shoes on her feet. "Maybe we should get you a better pair of shoes." I said before leading the way out.

Fenris was interested in the way that humans had to buy thing. They traded some green paper for a whatever they were 'buying'. It was fascinating, she thought. She was brought back into reality when Nicholas began to speak. She had to admit that the shoes were a bit annoying. They were a bit too wide for her feet, and they flopped around her foot, given that her feet were quite narrow. However, they were around the right size. "Another pair of shoes would be good."

I said, leading the way out of the clothing store and going to the Payless Shoe Store adjacent to it. "So I'm guessing you don't know your size?" I asked as I held the door open.

Fenris walked in through the open door, stopping once she was only a few feet into the store. She ran a hand through her hair and bit her lip. "Um... I guess not." She scratched the back of her neck nervously, a weak smile appearing on her face.

I don't think she realized how I felt about this situation. I'm just a ordinary teenage boy. Finding a hot naked chick in my basement. Who's a werewolf.
I was having the time of my life here.
"It's more fine then you know, Fenris."
I said as the door closed behind me. "Well, we definitely know you're not my moms size. So we know not to look for bigger sizes."
I said as I looked around. "Find me a style or type of shoe you like here and I'll ask them to get the shoe for you to try on in a smaller size."

Fenris was confused. So he wasn't troubled by this. That was good. She felt better now. Perhaps even comfortable.
With a smile and a nod, she scanned a few nearby shelves, settling on a pair of shoes that were jade green and made out of a denim-like fabric. They had a single strap across the top to secure the person's foot, and they were closed-toe and closed heel.
"These look like they would fit my feet well." She was right. They were made more narrow than the shoes that she was wearing.

I took the shoes from her grasp and went over to a older lady and asked to get them in a size two sizes less then my mother's size. (-is too tired to make up numbers-) The lady came back and gave them to me, which I then gave to Fenris. "Try these for size."
I said as I motioned to two chairs close by we could sit in.

Fenris nodded and took a seat as she took the shoes from Nicholas's hands, her fingers brushing his as she did so. He was warm, she noted. Of course, Fenris was probably warmer, a side-effect of being a were.
She took the shoes that she had on off and put the new pair on. They fit. "Hm. I guess we got lucky. The shoes fit on the first try." She let out a light smile in Nicholas's direction.
