10 minutes later...
Lakara woke up and rubbed her tired, dry eyes. She un-blurred her vision and peered at the horizon. A dot appeared. She exclaimed, "Land! LAND HO! Finally! And no Torin!" She leaped gleefully, rocking the boat.

Lakara stretched and yelled and wahooed for a couple minutes, then she decided to speed up the process. She pushed the water back as quick as possible and soon she was coming closer to the still-small dot. When she was relatively close, she took a good look at the medium-sized dot.

Torin was so tired from hanging onto the boat, she was so tired she finally let go and started floating in the water.

Lakara heard a small splash but ignored it. She sped up and saw what the dot was. The water was clear and sparkling. She strained her eyes and saw a small town, floating in the water. There were docks and small stores and children running around, playing. Builders were improving the large water-town. It looked cheerful, and wonderful, and Lakara couldn't wait to get there.

Òakara stoopped near the docks and walked on to the sturdy platform. She smiled happily and saw a young man walking towards her. She waved quickly.

Lakara walked over to the (ok you made me it's your fault) GROWN MAN.
She said, "Hi there! Is there any place here I can find some food and drink and rest?"
The man chuckled and stroked his beard, mock-thoughtfully.
"Hmmm, maybe here, or there, or maybe over there, or right on that dock, or over there where that boy is, right over here..."
He laughed good-naturedly and said, "Lady, there is no place where you aren't welcome! This is just a small village with a big heart, but for now you can stay at my place."
He gestured to a medium-sized cottage on a private dock with a sturdy thatched roof.

Torin screamed and sat straight up," WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!?!" she screamed jumping out of bed

Lakara relaxed on a small bed, courtesy of the man. She thanked him gratefully and went to sleep for a hopefully long nap.

The tree children screamed and ran out of the room yelling something about a mad women. Torin shrugged and turned to the window, she was about to jump out when a middle aged man stepped into the room. " I just wanted you to know that you gave my wife and my children heart attacks." the man said as he closed the door, He did so because of the heavy breathing coming from the children in the other room. " Thank you though, this house needed something interesting to happen."
