Storm opened her eyes then nodded as Dominik had left and went to talk to Yuushuu. She saw Daisuki, Call and Roe all in a little huddle, and smiled hearing Roe's breath slowdown as she drifted to sleep, and hearing Call's hum, Storm closed her eyes again, her head still lifted but gently swayed with Call's tune, enjoying the peace.

I picked up Roe by the scruff and felt the earth carefully to know exactly where Call was. I was getting faster at it which was great. I place Roe on Call's paws disturbing her sleep slightly. After a moment she easily drifted back to sleep. I moved away from the huddle and curled into a ball. With no sight it was hard to tell the difference between day and night. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep so I swallowed quiet sobs as I cried hopelessly wondering if I'll ever sleep again or forever be shrouded in darkness and never be able to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the forest. Snow. I'll miss the snow. Seeing if fall from the sky. I quit sobbing and let the warm tears flow down my face.
I don't cry because I am weak. I cry because I've been too strong for too long. |

Storm opened her eyes again hearing Daisuki walk away from Call and Roe, and curl in a ball in the corner of the den. She stretched and walked over to Daisuki, nuzzling her and laying next to her. "Talk to me" She said gently, resting her tail on Dai's back.

Can't anyone leave me alone. Hush, she just wants to help you. You can't keep it inside forever. "It's hard on me. I can't see. I can't tell the difference between day and night. How am I supposed to sleep when I'm in darkness all the time?"

As Yuushuu followed we stopped beneath a massive stone like den structure. Turning to her I sat down offering her to sit as well, " How are you Yuushuu?" I asked staring into her eyes beyond just answers.

Storm sighed then smiled at Daisuki, "I was blind for my first six moons, the Alpha wanted to kill me because he saw a sickly useless pup, but the Beta stepped in and promised he would train me and make me the best wolf the Pack had ever seen... I ended up being one of the best fighters in the Pack, my blindness was a gift rather then a curse, but the Alpha still did not approve, the Beta asked the Spirits if they could heal my blindness so I could be fully accepted into the Pack, they had granted his wish and I was no longer blind. Daisuki, being blind was one of the best things that has ever happened to me, if it weren't for it, I would not be as sharp as I am, my senses would not be used as they should because sight blocked them out, I would not be as thankful for what I have. You will learn to adjust and live with your lack of sight, and it will help you in ways you could never imagine." She said encouragingly, hoping Daisuki would understand.

My eyes widened as I sat up in shock. I knew I was looking in Storm's eyes just by the feel of it. I just looked at her for a while. "I know that lack of sight can help me it's just that a lot has been going on and sometimes it's hard for me to deal with change. Thank you for your encouragement, Storm. I never knew you were blind. That was so surprising." I bowed in gratitude to Storm.

Yuushuu sat down quietly. Dom's question was a simple and common one, and yet, she wasn't sure how to answer that. As he looked into her eyes, they shifted from left to right uncomfortably before she tilted her head downward and off to the side. "To be honest..." she started, knowing she couldn't lie, "I'm far from alright. What with all these terrible things happening, I feel a little bit powerless. I want to help out but... I'm not sure how. I think the only useful thing I've done so far is catch a few rabbits, but the trouble I've caused far outweighs the good I've done here."
She closed here eyes and held back tears as best she could, for Yuushuu did not want the Alpha to see her cry. "Why am I here? What good does my existence do for anyone?" she asked, though she knew that no one alive could tell her the answer.

" Everything happens for a reason. You were meant to stumble upon our pack so we would have one less missing piece. You're part of our family Yuushuu. Every new comer, or pup will have mistakes made and even cause a burden-ful situation. But what good are they if they do not make mistakes t teach themselves and others and experience life. You are here because the Elder's needed a Yuushuu... You see-" standing up I move a bit closer then sit down a bit closer to Yuushuu before continuing, my stare drilling into hers with a passive and yet stern look. " -There is only and will only ever be, One of you. We are never copied, we are never re-born into the same body twice, the one time we are born, is the only time the birth of us as the being or animal we are then will ever exist again. We are put here to defend and protect and care for others. No matter their gender or color or even their species. Your existence here with us has done us great good, without you we would have fallen very far behind. Every single wolf in this pack-" I say as I look around at everyone then back to her, "- Is an extremely important wolf. Even the pups. Because without eachother, what are we? Alone? Un-protected? Un-safe? We are family, and now that we have found a nice den until we move to our new permanent den, the only worries we have are the worries every wolf faces everyday, but most importantly, you can begin your training, as well as Daisuki."

Yuushuu's ex
pression lightened up a bit. "Thank you, Alpha." she said, "Thank you for taking me in, for encouraging me to move on through everything, but most of all thank you for believing in me." She thought for a moment before she spoke again, "I've never really told anyone this, but I did not leave my old pack because I didn't love them, I didn't leave because I felt unwanted, either. In truth, I'm not completely sure what drove me to leave them, because they were dear to me and I was happy in the pack of my family and friends. But I felt a deep urge to see what lay beyond the safety of my home, as if something out there were calling to me. And... I didn't know it at first, in fact I wanted to get moving as quickly as possible when I'd met you all, but now I understand. I know where the call was coming from." Yuushuu didn't have to finish, her thoughts were obvious when she looked back at the rest of the pack with a look of great peace. "I'm so lucky." she whispered softly, a tear of joy slipping down her face.

Call snored softly as she slept currled up next to Roe. The pup was nuzzled into Call's chest, snuggling in the soft fur by her heart. Call whined in her sleep, she was having a particularly confusing dream on this chill blizzardy night. Call was unaware of the conversations going on around her, the twitched her back leg every few minutes. *** Call chased Daisuki and Yuushuu around the snowdrifts of their cave. The sun was shining brightly against the snow, the breeze threw flurries of the soft flakes around them. Daisuki was still with her sight, frolicking with the others, Call had nipped her hindquarters and darted off into the forest in a game of chase. As Call ran into the trees and was stopped abruptly..she had almost ran into one of the dark skinned humans. The ones that wore the fox and bear pelts, long sticks always in their hands. Call was frozen, the dancing people had never bothered her before, but she had never been so close. She wasnt sure why she had felt so suddenly afraid, they seemed to stand for hours gazing at each other..she hadnt taken notice of the others lining up in the tree line. Call was surrounded by them all, murmering and pointing at her in their strange language. Where were her pack mates? Call looked around her she was alone, she couldnt even see the den any longer,but she swore she hadnt run this far into the forest. Call stepped back as the oldest one, one with a great bear pelt on his head approached her..he was coming to near! Call felt like she couldnt breathe what was happening?*** Call jerked awake, her head flew up her teeth bared and her eyes wide. The last images lingering in her head. This wasnt supposed to happen, she had never been sent the sleep dreams like this before. She wasnt like the others, what did this mean?

Storm dipped her head then walked back to where she and Dominik were sitting, leaving Daisuki to rest and think, "Daisukis strong, she will make it" she whispered to herself laying down on the cool stone and waiting for Dominik to come back in the den.

Smiling at Yuushuu's emotion and compassion I took a breath, " Luck is but a mere gambler who just happened upon fate" I smile as I look to her then back to the Pack. Feeling a strange skitter like tingle run down my spine I shift my eyes from The pack back to Yuushuu curious to know where the feeling was coming from. Acting normally I spoke, " Once we have settled and you have shown enough activity I can provide your rank to you"

Yuushuu was filled with joy, "I will do my best." she said with a smile. She let out a tired yawn and looked over to Dom. "So, was there anything else you wanted to tell me?" she asked.

I raised my head and well felt as Stormy left my side. My stomach grumbled loudly but it was too late to eat now. Laying my head down I closed my eyes and quickly drift off into sleep.

Looking at Yuushuu for a moment I gave a proud smile and spoke before turning, " No. Nothing further. Don't forget Yuushuu, you can always talk to me" I say as I look back and give a soft smile before craning my head back around and finding my way to call. Nearing the she wolf I felt the zing rush back streaking through my entire body, 'was it coming from Call?' striding up to her, her white fur glowing blue in the moonlight, nearly disguising her as a silhouette. Feeling a mix of emotions I stopped a few inches from her shoulder lowering my head and sniffing curiously at her face. Looking to her face I grew ever more curious as I saw her ex
pression. She seemed truly perturbed and un-eased. Stepping around in front of her I lowered my head and stared into her glowing eyes. " Call" my voice was a deep hushed whisper as I tried to understand her at the moment, " What is it?"

Storm watched as Dominik lowered his head and began to talk with Call who seemed a bit spooked. Looking away she switched sides, getting to a more comfortable position and began to fall deep into her mind looking at the mouth of the den, thinking about what else may happen, and what was the plan for tomorrow.

Call dropped her head looking at her paws, she sat still in the evening light. She had a very strange night vision which was unlike the others as it was a dream. She usually dreamt about chasing deer, running with the others but this one felt different. "I think, I think there is some curiosity about us with the dancing people." she turned her head to Dom looking him directly in the eyes though her ex
pression was thoughtful now instead of disturbed. "I'm really not sure but I had a strange night story about them. They were all looking at us, pointing at us..I'm not sure what that means." She looked to Dom in these times, she didnt have the special skills and visions the others got, just a silly sleep story. "I'm sorry Dom I wish I had more answers."

Thinking over what Call had said I stared at the ground for a second, now curious myself about this current event. " Did it feel dangerous?" I ask looking to her as I sat next to her our fur pressing together at our hind legs as the chilly wind whipped and then slowed to a sullen whisper.
