- Charging through the trees a branch whapped the gash on my shoulder causing it to bleed slightly. Ignoring the sudden onset sting I sniffed the air out finally catching wind of the pack. Pushing myself forward my pace picked up from a lope to a full on run as I ached to see my family again-

-I get to the top a large hill and wait for the pack to pass then I stand looking out for a moment then I start to turn around but I smell something, a familiar scent- it...it isn't is it? -I turn to see Dom charging torwards the pack- Guys wait! Doms here! -i yelled filling with joy of seeing him again after thinking that we lost him, I ran strait for him then licked his face and started to rub against him until I saw his deep wounds- where did these come from! come on you need to rest, I'll go find some herbs,

-Smiling as I saw Storm I licked her face with a smile as she rubbed against me, smelling a familiar scent I looked to the hill and saw the pack ascending quickly as Storm announced my return- ' They're all here' - smiling with pride and joy I took a deep breath and re-grouped. No longer being picked at by the sting of my wound I nodded to Storm and made my way up the hill with her at my side toward the pack-

-Ignoring my pain I ran at full speed for Storm and Alpha. Oh, how I missed them so. Eventually I was at the front of the pack.-

My face lit up when I saw the Alpha. Running down the hill to greet him, I was outrun by Dai. She had to have been more eager than anyone else, the way she blasted ahead of the rest of us. Then again, I had Ani on my back. I smiled as I arrived at the bottom of the hill a few minutes after Daisuki. I was so glad the pack was all okay. Then I smelled it, the scent of blood. Was the Alpha injured? I noticed the wound on his shoulder. Before I could say anything, words fell out of my mouth that were not my own. " Go ahead, finish him off." I murmured. Why did I say that? Was that really me, even? My eyes were wide with confusion and a sudden feeling of anxiety began to eat away at my stomach. "What's happening to me?" I asked, tears welling up in my eyes. I felt different, like I was only partly in control of my own mind.
"I've been waiting a long time for this," I said, yet again in a voice that was not mine, "I'm almost in complete control now. This is good."
Backing up, I slid Ani down over my snout and turned to run, the only thing I could think to do. The only thing I ever did. Tears poured down my face as I stood for a moment before leaving. "I'm sorry... but please don't follow me." I said softly, not looking back. I ran off in another direction, away from the danger of humans, but not in the way the pack had been traveling.

Looking to Storm I shook my fur off then stood still not showing any signs of pain - One of the human's stuck me with a blade, It was all he could do in his last seconds to try to fight back before I won. - Seeing Daisuki charging down the hill towards us at the head of the pack I smiled and reared up a bit to cushion her stop as I licked her face and smiled. Until I saw Yuushuu abruptly stop, allow ani to slide from her back to rest on the ground and then pause.- The others staring in curiousity at her as she mumbled something I heard the words clear as day.- "I'm sorry...but please don't follow me" As Storm went to chase after her I stopped her, -She is struggling with her mind right now as we all are. This journey is going to stir up the negative in us, try to bring us down. But you need to stand strong, The Horizon Moon Pack does not wane so easily to the trials of the minds. But everyone needs to overcome it eventually. Let her be. She will return to us and if something should happen I will go find her. For now let her fight her own battle with dignity before she no longer can, that is when she will need us, - I said looking to Storm. Nodding in response to me she rubbed against my side avoiding my wound she spoke- " I'm going to go find some herbs for you.. For the journey as well If I can find enough" Be safe -I breathed watching Storm as she went off into the woods.- Daisuki how are you feeling? - I ask as we head up to hill to the rest of the pack with smiles.
I will be filling in for Storm here and there while she is gone. There won't be any major parts as I prefer for her to handle the bigger pieces since she knows herself better than I do. But she will still be here, just in Spirit. Miss You Stormy <3

-Looking to the wound that was still steadily dripping blood I ignored it and looked forward greeting the rest of the pack with wags and smiles coming at me from all sides- Yes Dai I'm ok. I'm stronger than I look. We need to get you tended to though, you can't travel constantly in pain. Storm will fix that though - looking out to the woods I sniff the air and find a faint trace of Storm,- she's not too far away, about a mile or so. - Come, let's head to the hill, it will be safe there for the time being.

I ran for a long time, not knowing exactly where I was headed. I ran until I had no more strength to run and I broke down sobbing into the grass. " That's a little dramatic, isn't it? I knew you missed me, but I didn't expect this." a voice said, it was the same voice that had come from my mouth when I was with the pack. But this time, the voice came from my mind.
"Who... are you?" I asked, calming down a little.
"Don't you remember? I'm your other half, we've met before, Yuushuu. ...I suppose I should reintroduce myself though. You may call me Akui. Earlier, that flash you saw was a memory, I'm surprised you've forgotten."
"What happened after what I saw?" I asked.
"I think you already know the answer to that question."
"Akui, did I... kill that wolf?" I questioned, my stomach tightening.
Akui laughed. "Your innocent act is cute, but you and I both know you favor evil, deep in your heart."

It's seems like an hour since I took Roe and I begin to wonder where everyone else is. I smell the air but there is just the scent of prey. No, wolves and no humans. Roe has been asking me about food, and I say with a saddened tone,"I can't get food yet." I start to howl in hopes that I'm not too far from the pack. As i finish howling I start thinking to myself that I should have learned to hunt and not explore. I hold Roe close and wait for a response.

-I found a large group of all the herbs I needed for both Dai and Dom, but it was weird that they were all in nice groups placed so conveniently, I bowed then gave a silent thanks to the earth then started making my way back to the pack but then stopped right away smelling a strange yet familiar scent, it smelled like fire but a wolf at the same time, I turned around to see a small puddle. I walked over and looked into it to see a glowing wolf in my reflection, I turned away immediatly knowing it was just gonna make things worse to keep staring, but then it spoke- "You can't hide yourself from them forever, its ok to feel, you have to understand tha-'
No! you can't tell me what to do any longer I can do what I like and no one can change that!
-I said mind spiraling and heart racing, my anger was building up and rising until I couldn't control it anymore, and my True Wolf form was trying to come out but then I darted away from the puddle still hearing the glowing wolves words 'You can't hide yourself from them forever', I ran as fast as I could until I got into the open and ran into a big, hard, metal machine that humans ride inside of then backed away slowly hoping that I didn't disturb anything but as I turned around I heard the machine start up. I bolted still trying to hold onto all of the herbs until I found the pack's scent then ran in that direction. A little bit later I came to the pack still running full speed, jumped out of the bushes, and skidded past Dom and the others and almost running into a tree then sat down breathing heavily- I....I got the herbs...-I said trying to sound happy and not as worn out as I felt-
(( Hey guys I got back from vacation early, even though I was only gone for two days I really missed the pack and I'm glad to be back, also thank you Kody for filling in for me, it gave me something to do <3 ))

-I watched Dom bolt out of camp and stood on top of the hill looking around worried, hoping I could find maybe just a trace of Star, but I couldn't find anything not even a scent- The wind must have blown her scent away, -I sighed then walked back over to Dai and Ani, and started applying fresh herbs to Dai's wounds. After I was done with that I circled the area hoping to find Dom returning with Star soon, but nothing happened so I sat waiting for there return-

Call shook her pelt as she slowly drug the Stag carcass across the terra. She was older and liked to spend much time alone hunting, or just thinking. This had been one of those times when Call had been absent from the pack. She meant well, she did but the day to day pack life bored her. She just couldnt sit still and function in a pack and have anyone looking to her all the time or depending on her.
She sighed and smacked her jaws as she rested. Bits of deer fur sticking to her maw. Though she was older she was still useful when she liked to be. She scented the area for her pack..it had been a while but she could still pick out their scent after all these days. She chorused a howl over the ridge where she stood stark white against the hilltop. |

I sat and waited. I never got an answer but then the wind carried the scent of Dom to me. I picked up Roe and carried her till we found Dom.

Akui snickered, "That's exactly why you fear your deepest feelings, it's why you fear me."
I didn't know what to say, for it was true that I feared Akui, and everything she said seemed to make sense. But I knew the way evil worked, Akui was twisting the truth into a weapon that cut deep into my judgement, I was sure of it. But where was she wrong? What did she not mention? "You're not in control," I said, "You're going to have to get used to it."
"I don't hink you understand, Yuushuu," Akui whispered, "you lost control, the moment you ran away from your pack. So no, I imagine you're the one who will have to... get used to it."
Before I had time to react, a sharp pain jolted through my body for several minutes until I felt nothing. "What happened?" I asked, unable to turn my head.
"Now who's the strange voice?" Akui laughed, "you're so weak."
That's when I realized it, I was no longer in control, just as she had said.
Akui turned to where I'd come from. "Now it's finally time to put an end to this happy little family of yours. You don't deserve the joy of being loved, Yuushuu, one by one you can watch them fall!" her voice was full of a crazed enjoyment. I could do nothing as she moved us closer to the pack, breaking into a run.

-Ending my howl I looked at ani she was up.- "Calm down. We are somewhere. The pack is moving. We're looking for a new place to live. A safe place. You're talking to me so you must be alive. You are going to be alright." I said calming Ani down. Looking across the land I noticed Yuushuu running towards us. I quickly made my way towards her but i noticed something was off.-
