I nodded, handed Tucker over to Dominic and slipped down the hall to the bathroom. Once inside, I quickly changed and checked my reflection in the mirror. Smiling slightly, I stepped back out, pulling the drawstrings on the sweatpants tight and rolled up the bottoms until they brushed just past my ankles.

Dominic smiled. He liked the way she looked in his tshirt. He ruffled Tucker's ears and handed him back to her. "Would you mind if I got a shower real quick? I was out in the sun all day and got all sweaty."

"Of course." I grinned and slipped past him, folding my wings in closer. Once in the living room, I sat on the couch with the now sleeping Tucker cradled in my arms. I half-mindedly stroked him. The other half of my mind was wandering in some far away land.

After taking a long hot shower, he felt refreshed and slipped on a pair of loose fitting shorts and combed his hair into place before going out to meet Ariel. |

I snapped back into reality as Tucker growled in his sleep then thumped his tail against my leg. Smily tenderly, I continued to stroke him, wondering what he was dreaming off and why his previous owner had gotten rid of him. I was also wondering if he was house-trained. It seemed like his was but I couldn't be sure.

Without even bothering to toss on a t-shirt Dominic sat down beside her and smiled. Tucker was curled up in her arms and she looked absolutely gorgeous. He smiled and nudged her gently. "Hey there. I feel soooo much better."

"You smell sooo better too." I laughed and leaned my head against his shoulder, sighing contently. I slowly drifted into a light sleep.

He smiled and scooped her into his arms and cradled her like a baby. He carried her to his bedroom and slipped her under the covers. After tucking her in, he kissed her forehead gently and laid Tucker beside her.

I hugged Tucker close to me and wrapped my mings around my body, the black and cream feathers covering almost all of me except the top of my head. The thoughts in my head numbed into dreams and the dreams dissolved into the peacefull black of sleep.

Watching her drift off to sleep, he then went into the kitchen and made some breakfast. Dominic knew she would be extremely hungry when she woke up. He began wondering what he would feed the dog.

The soft light of early morning shone into my face and woke me from sleep. I threw the covers off and stood, stretching my wings and flapping them once to make sure they still worked. Nodding, I crept quietly down the hall and fixed myself another cup of cocoa, noting the plate of breakfast on the table. Grabbing them, I sat on the couch and ate a quietly and swiftly as I could. As I finished, I heard Tucker jump down from the bed and run loudly down the hall. I had just finished washing my dishes and curled back up on the couch when he whined and scratched at the door. "Well, at least you are house trained." I sighed and stepped outside with him. The black feathers on my wings warmed instantly and I felt better than I had since my return to earth.

When Tucker had finished and chased all the small animals back to thier hiding places, I led him back inside and arched an eyebrow when I saw Dominic. "Good morning." I said, sitting back in my usual spot on the couch. Tucker jumped up beside me and layed down, resting his head on my leg.

((Bed time. -.-)) I giggled lowly. "I didn't know there was such a thing as too 'hot' with you." I grinned, running a finger across a feather of my wing, noticing that Tucker watching me. "I wonder if he can see our wings." I said, glancing up at Dominic. "I think he can. But that's just my thought."
