I turned to look at him. "I love it! It's so...comfy." I giggled and sat on the corner of his bed, forgetting my manners for a minute. "I wonder if there is a way to get back." I murmered, reaching back to run a finger down the longest feather of my left wing, as I'd often done while thinking.

He sighed and shook head. "Sorry hun. No, I tried. Multiple time and theres absolutely no way back. Guess you're stuck here with me." He was beginning to lose his temper, he knew he needed to calm down. |

"I didn't mean it like that." I said quickly, standing and walking up to him. "I'm just...bewildered that I even fell from heaven. I really can't remember what I did wrong. I'm sorry if I made you mad." I said and smiled slightly at him. Shuffling my wings shyly, I stepped closer to him and wrapped him in a shy hug. "Thank you for helping me." I murmered.

I blushed as my stomach growled loudly and ruined the moment. "Um...do you have any hot chocolate?" I asked. Ever since my first cup, hot chocolate had been my favourite drink. ((Sorry for the short post. I have alot on my mind right now.))

I smiled and tentatively followed him. When we got to the kitchen, I broke away and went to sit at the table, gazing around at the decor. I didn't know whether to call it lovely or somthing more...manly. It wasn't like what a girl would decorate a house but it wasn't bad.

"Marshmellows or no marshmellows?" Dominic asked calmly with a slight subtle smile as he set two mugs on the counter and boiled a saucepan of milk for the cocoa.

"Marshmellows, please." I said, watching him prepare the cocoa. He was actually very good looking, especially without his shirt. I giggled lowly, realizing how...human I was thinking. Shuffling my wings against the back of the chair, I occupied myself with tracing the patterns in the walls and floors of the cabin.

After making his homemade cocoa Dominic poured the mixture into the two mugs he had set out earlier. Then he plopped a few tiny marshmellows into Ariel's mug and set it in front of her before grabbing his own and occupying the seat accross the table from her. "Now be careful, It's really hot still. I hope you enhoy it."

I smiled and slowly sipped the hot liquid. It immeadiatly burned my mouth but it felt good, for once. The cocoa wamed me from the inside out and brightened my mood intensely. "Thanks." I said. ((Ok, so what to do now?...))

Dominic's lips twisted playfully into a smile, he was flattered. No one had ever called him handsome before. "Well thank you Madam Ariel" he said formally as he slumped back in the wooden dining chair he sat in and sipped his cocoa. "So I have an idea. It may sound REALLY crazy." |
