{{Ok. I'm Back}}

De, being as he was, hated company. He paced outside the cave, claws clicking on the ice of the lake. He pricked his ears and listened to the conversation inside. Deciding against intruding of the wolves, he lay beside the frozen waterfall, keeping his head up incase of emergency. Like this, he fell asleep.

Lune sighed. He struggled to keep his eyes open. Finally, sleep won him over. He scooted closer to Calyx and fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Dew eyed the strange wolf sleeping outside of the cave. He shrugged and continued up the slope, Syn beside him, Night and StarFrost behind. AS he entered the cave, he nodded to Merci who was still working the doe meat for the late morning meal thay would feat on when they all woke up. Settleing down on the other side of Lune, he glanced at StarFrost and jerked his nose to the spot next to him.

Whisp had long since fallen asleep. He dreamt good dreams of chasing down quick footed prey, racing against the eagles, and living amongst the stars.

As Merci finished, she lay by herself in a corner of the cave, not to far from Cinder. She didn't sleep though. She watched the strange wolves sleeping with her siblings. It was odd. The two small groups didn't even know each other.

Syn spotted Merci, laying alone. She trotted over and lay beside her. Smiling, she slipped into black dreams, though not fully asleep.

Starfrost trotted inside. She turned to Dew, and padded over to him. She plopped down close beside him. She yawned and layed her head onto her paws. She wrapped her tail around to her paws to keep warm. She let out a small cough before finnaly going to sleep.

Nyght looked at Starfrost. He wondered how she went to sleep that fast, and why he couldent. ell its probrably becaus I have alot on my mind......Like Calyx for instance, she's going to have pups in this harmful winter...He shivered at the thought. He padded by Cinder and layed next to him. He yawned and watched everyone else. He tried to go to sleep, but it just diddent work. He sighed.

Calyx pawed the air as she slept. She growled and snarled. Her heat beat quickened, as she was in a nightmare. She was tending to her newborn pups, when an unknown wolf came and attacked. She stared down at her dead pups....She jolted up, barking.

Aurora wobbled over to Caktx drowlisy. "Calyx...Are you ok...?" She fell asleep again, before Calyx could answer.

Cinder woke up at Calyx's sudden out-burst. He grunted to himself and padded outside the cave and into the snow. He shivered at the cold then noticed a stranger wolf. "Who are you?" He snapped.

Bryda padded out in the snow, she had no shelter and was freezing. "Im going to turn into an iceburge." She hissed to herself. The wind blew her over. She barked at the wind and stood up. She continued to find shelter.

De blinked open his eyes. He stood up and glared at Cinder. "Just a wolf trying to get some sleep." He growled. As the wind swirled around him, the fur that ruffled up mad ehim look bigger. He slicked back his ears and dug his claws into the ice.

Lune woke quickly, touching Caylx with his nose. "What;s wrong?" He asked. "Are the pups coming?" He was still sleepy but quickly woke up fully.

Dew lifted his head and pricked his ears, watching Calyx. Was she ok? Was it just a bad dream of something else?

Whisp still slept, deeply. He wouldn't wake up until someone bit him. He usually slept like this. If he didn't, Merci's constant twitching would keep him awake all night.

Merci and Syn just watched like Dew.{{Phail}}

Calyx whimpered and settled back down. "N-no.....Just a N-nightmare......" She whimpered. "I'm sorry..." She said hiding her head with her paws and tails. She tried to go back to sleep, hoping the nightmare diddent come back again......

Cinder shrugged. "Me too...Me too..." He padded off to a small den. This should work for tonight.......When Calyx ishent waking everyone up.....But not me hehehe....I'll be having a wonderful sleep all by myself....e crept into the den and settled down.

Aurora was still sleeping. "Food....Must catch teh rabbit....So nummy..." Aurora said in her sleep. (Phail xD)

Nyght stared at Calyx, them Aurora. "Is she Ok-" he was going to say to Aurora when he rembered. "She talks in her sleep xD" He told them. "Just ignore Aurora." he chuckled lowering his head. "Where did Cinder go.....?"

Bryda hissed. She fought off some more wind, but couldent take it any longer. She was about to guve up when she saw a cave nearby. "I can make it..." She told herself. She was just 20 steps to the cave, when she collasped in the snow. Snow quickly covered her body....

Starfrost yawned, fast asleep.

Lune lay his head over her neck. He quietly hummed the lullaby his mother had used to make him go to sleep when he was a pup. He folded his wings to his sidesand curled his tail over his paws.

De trotted away from the waterfall, towards a lump of snow that had just formed. He smelled it. Wolf! Carefully digging, he uncovered the thinnest she wolf he had ever seen. Looking around, he grabbed her by the scruff of hte next and tossed her on his back.

Dew lay his head next to StarFrost's, falling asleep again.

Meanwhile, Syn, Whisp, and Merci still slept.

Calyx purred. She quickly fell asleep. This time she dreamed perfectly.

Starfrost nuzzled Dew and layed her head in his paws sleeping happily.

Bryda opened her eyes. She had no idea what was happening. She diddent have enough power to move, so she just sat there on De's back, slowly going into unconsousness again.

Nyght shook his head, he knew exactly what had happened to Cinder. He trotted off, Ugh. He thought.=, knowing it was true.

Cinder and Aurora slept.

 De lined the snow cave he had dug with pine needles, oak leaves, and soft gr*censored*es. then, he lay the she-wolf carefully on her side. SItting beside her, he watched the sun lower itself for the second time since finding the she-wolf.

Lune, Merci, Syn, Whisp, and Dew all woke up and went out to hunt, leaving the other wolves to sleep.

Cinder woke up. He yawned, and walked out of the den. He stretched his legs and padded to the cave. Once he got there, he layed down behind Calyx.

Bryda groaned. She opened her eyes to see a stranger wolf. She raised her head to look around. I'm still alive....? She glanced at the he-wolf. Did he find me? She asked herself. She layed her head down and breathed, "Thankyou."

Calyx woke up. "Cinder? Where have you been?" She asked him, not opening her eyews. Cinder diddent reply. She nuzzled her belly, and knew, that the pups were coming soon.

Aurora jumped up. "I slept well? Did you?" She woke up Nyght and asked Cinder and Calyx. Cinder ignored her, "I slept ok." C alyx told her.

Nyght yawned. "Let me go back to sleeeeeep." He mumbled.

De nodded. "No problem. Don't you know how to hunt?" He asked accusingly, eyeing her skinny shape.

Lune torotted in the front of the group, a silver fish in his mouth. He had broken a part of the lake and fished for a while. The fish had skin instead of skales so it wouldn't be a problem to eat. He dropped it in front of Calyx.

Merci and Syn carried in a medium sized buck, followed by Whisp who carried only a rabbit, and finally, Dew, carrying four blue birds by the tail.

Bryda hesitated. "Well......N-no..." She admitted, feeling like a pup. She felt embaressed, not knowing how to hunt, she WAS a pup in other wolf's eyes.

Calyx looked down at the fish. "Thanks." She smiled as she began to eat the fish. She took a small bite and spoke, "Do you want to share?" she asked.

Nyght finnaly fell back asleep. He sniffed the air, so smell food. His mouth wattered. He woke up and wagged his tail.

Starfrost did the same. She pushed Nyght over playfully, Nyght pushed back.

Cinder grunted, not caring at all.

Lune nodded and lay down on the other side of the fish, his tail laying in the burned out ashes. He took small bites off the back of the fish. "So..I hear the pups will come very soon." He said between bites, trying to make small talk.

De stood up. "Well, maybe you should learn." He growled. "Can you stand? No. You collapsed out htere in the snow. I''l be back with some food and water." He said, trotting off. At once, he scented elk. Trotting silently, he came up to the elk. It was male, with large antlers. He circled the elk and snapped at it's thickly furred neck.Blood dripped fromt he great animal. Again, De snapped at it's neck, this time, holding on. SLowly, the elk suffocated. With a bit of force, De drug the elk back to the snow cave and laid it infront of the she-wolf. Panting, he licked blood from his muzzle.

 Merci again worked with the meat. She was glad when Whisp and Syn came over to help her. They three got the meat cleaned, bled, and de-boned quickly. Even the brids were easy to de-feather and bone.

Calyx nodded. "I think they are coming today, or mabye tomorrow a mother knows." She smiled, taking another iece of the fish. She swallowed, and yawned. She stretched her legs, that were still stiff from sleeping, and trotted outside and sat down.

Bryda smiled. She used most of her effort to sit up. She eagerly took many bites of the elk, wishing she could hunt also. She sighed, taking another bite. After she was done eating, she looked batter. She looked like a normaly fed wolf, but you still could see her ribs a little.

Starfrost and Nyght played until the food was ready.

Aurora wasent really hungry, but she decided she would eat later. She layed back down to go to sleep.
