Lune~

Glancing up at the stars, Lune swore he had never seen anything so beautiful. Next to him lay Merci and Whisp, his brother and sister. Merci had long since fallen asleep and Whisp was watching the stars with Lune. The two brothers sighed and Whisp stood up, shaking snoow from his pelt.

Whisp~

"I'm going hunting. Tag along if you want." He said, turning and striding away. A safe distance from his siblings, he lowered his maw and searched for the scent of prey. Success. A fresh scent hit his nose, storng and powerful. Deer. A doe and two fawns. Lowiering himself, Whisp crept closer to the doe, now in sight. He would take the biggest of the fawns, the male.

Merci~

Rolling over in her sleep, Merci dreamt of fighting off a huge bear. The bear roared at her, slashing it's claws and catching her ear. She spun 'round and bit into the bears leg, bulling it down and finishing it off with a paw through it's eye.

Dew~

Dew stood on a rocky outcrop. He lifted his head and howled, long and sweet.

Syn~

Syn stood next to Dew. He wasn't her mate or her relative, but he was her friend. He protected her, kept her warm, and fed her. She lifted her head aand howled as his sound ended.

Calyx let out a long yawn. She looke dup at the stars, We never had stars as beautiful as those when we lived in the old forest. The memory of the old forest, where she used to live, also reminded her of her mates death. She let out a small whimper, and closed her eyes, trying to get rid of the thought. She opened her eyes to look at the stars again. That got the thought out of her mind.

Aurora sighed at Calyx. he diddent dare ask what was wrong, she already knew. She diddent want to cause her more pain by bringing it up. Loud mouth Cinder would yap 'bout it all night. She was sure of it. "I'm going out hunting." She said getting up, Better than sitting here all night. "I'll bring you somthing back to you, Calyx." Calyx nodded. Aurora bounded away to the scent of a Deer, a doe and two fawns. She was going to go for the male, just as Whisp was...

Cinder hissed. Why diddent she ask me to go? He thought. I'm the better hunter, I could of brought back more game! He grunted. He turned to Calyx who was looking uo at the stars. What's so cool about the stars? There just small bundles of light......He thought looking up also. Well...There ok....

Nyght sighed toward Cinder. He is such......a pup. He grunted. Always acts like one. He added. He watched Aurora leave, To late for asking if she could get me something.....Dosent really cares for us, only Calyx. He mumbled to himself in a nice manor. Very kind of her, I guess I could get something later.

Starfrost mumbled in her sleep, Nyght stared at her curiously. She tossed and turned, whimpering. Nyght thought it was just a dream, and tossed over to the other side and fell asleep. Starfrost was dreaming that she was saving pups from a flood. "Just. One. More......"

Lune~

 Lune sighed and rested his head on his paws. He watched Merci as she twitched and growled in her sleep. Finally, she opened her eyes. He looked into the familar blood colored orbs and smiled. "Good morning." He teased.

Whisp~

 As Whisp was just about the start the chase, he noticed a pretty she-wolf, stalking the male fawn as well. He pondered what to do. Then, decidedly, he waited for the she-wolf to move first. If he attacked now, he could scare them all away.

Merci~

Merci smiled at Lune and stood up, shaking snow and pine needled off her fur. Pricking her ears, she listened two the howls of the others and added her own in.

Dew~

 Dew touched Syn on the shoulder with his nose. "Your it!" He laughed, leaping off of the rock and sprinting through the forest, loving how the snow absorbed all the sound he made.

Syn~

Syn laughed and ran after him, always keeping him in sight. She would win this time.

Cinder heard other howles. Bored, he put in one of his own. Nyght turned to him and smiled. Cinder grunted, "So what? Am I not able to howl any more?" He snapped at Nyght. Nyght only smirked at him and turned away. Cinder huffed.

Aurora was just about to attack, when she noticed a handsome wolf. She hid a blush and backed away, nodding to him showing that she was sorry that she almost took his kill. She turned the other way, and started to trot away, when the prey spotted her, she stood still to blend in. She was blue, and diddent fade into th egreen color that was the forest. But being not as smart as wolves, the prey made no notice. She found out if she moved, she would accidently scare it off.

Nyght sighed. So hard-headed, he is. He thought. He stgood up and stretched. "Calyx, to you mind if I go out for a while, I don't want to leave you another short of a wolf." he smiled at her. Calyx looked down from the starts and smiled at how nice he was. "Go on." She said before staring up at the stars again. Nyght trotted off into the forest.

Starfrost jumped up. She noticed Nyght leaving, and shrugged. She trotte don after him. "Mind if I join you? I'm sooo bored." she admitted. To pas.s the time, she let out a giggle to her brother, tagged him with her nose and bounded away yelling out "cant catch me!" be fore he could react to her invite. Nyght laughed and bounded on after her.

Lune~

 Lune stood up. "I'm going to explore. I'll be back around dawn." He said, turning and walking into the forest, leaving Merci alone to find shelter.

Whisp~

 Whisp nodded at the she-wolf and started off at a trot and quickly built up into a run after the he-fawn. Taking it down carefully, he drug it over to Aurora and dropped it at her feet. "Here. I'm sure you need it more than me." He panted.

Merci~

 Merci glanced around the clearing her siblings had settled in. She knew the land well. She decided to find the nearby waterfall with a cave behind it. Glancing around, she took the leaf that held the blood form that days kill and stepped into it. Then, she left a trail of bloody paw prints that led to and into the waterfall cave. The waterfall had frozen already and would povide a good windbreaker.

Dew~

Dew took a sharp left, leading him to a break in the trees. He ran down the tree line and dissapeared again into a tangle of branbles. Catching his breath, he laughed. Syn would never find him here.

Syn~

Syn followed Dew, but lost him as he took the left. The snow turned to ice at the edge of the trees and the tracks were lost. Sighing, the walked on, swinging her head from side to side, sniffing the air.

Aurora smiled. "No, its yours you caught it." She lowered her head. "Sorry for disturbing you." She told Whisp. "Well I don't want to bore you any more, I must go to catch some prey for my sister, you should meet her." She smiled. "I'm Aurora."

Everyone was leaving, We would have to find another place to stay at this rate! he hissed to himself. It dosent hurt to scout ahead and find some shelter if we do have to move again. He decided. "Calyx, I'm going to find shelter." he told her.

Starfrost turned left also, and hid in some brambles, just as Dew had done. She panted, "He'ss never find me here!" She said quietly. She heard breathing behind her, and smelt another wolf. Sge slowly turned around to see Dew...

Nyght looked for Starfrost. "Starfrost!" He called. "Come out here so I can get 'cha!" he barked. He grinned to himself. He scented out another she-wolf. Thinking it was Starfrost, he folllowed it to find Syn. "Oh hello....." He said.

Calyx shrugged, "Everyone left me," She sighed. "yea, leave a pregnant wolf out on her own." She huffed, hoping nothing would come and attack her.

Lune pushed through a burst of frozen ferns to find a she-wolf, all alone, laying in the snow. He approched her carefully. "Um, miss. I don't think you should be here alone. my brother says bears roam this forest. Although I doubt a bear will attack during winter." He said, sitting down.

"My name is Whispers. But everyone calls me Whisp." Whisp said, dipping his head. "I could help you chase down the doe and bring her down. If you want." He offered.

Merci lay down in the back of the cave and licked the blood from her paws. She sighed and fell asleep quickly.

Dew was surprised to see the she-wolf. "Um...hello." He stuttered.

Syn Faced the stranger and flicked her tail. "Have you seen a blue wolf with golden eyes. He should be around here somewhere." SHe said, glancing around.

"Umm..." he started, "Sorry, I havent." He shook his head. "But have you seen my sister? She is white, blue eyes and wings?" He asked. "We could look for them, togethor if you want....." he sugested.

Calyx jumped at the sight of another wolf. "Uhh, yea." She smiled. "My brothers and sisters left me here." She grunted. "But I dont think there is more shelter around here, my brother, Cinder, went looking for some shelter and hasent come back yet..." She whimpered.

"Hehehehe..." Starfrost giggled, "Sorry for stealing your hiding spot," She started, "Im hiding from my brother, I diddent notice you were here....."

Aurora smiled. "I'd like that."
