Plot
Thorn is an evil dragon out to kill all humans. Taylor’s family; Jake, Nick, and herself were taught to protect mankind. Their half dragons out to stop Thorn and his pack from killing them and the human race. Taylor was always closer to her dragon side. She had sharper senses than the rest of her family because she was more in tune to them. She is always taking risks while Jake is sticking his neck out for her. Jake encourages her to mingle more with the humans and Taylor ends up falling in love. This could be a problem. Even though the human race knows the dragon part of the family, they don’t know that they are half dragons. Taylor was nicknamed Firestar by the humans, seeing as she was the leader. Jake was named Fireclaw and Nick Smokeclaw. The humans only know that the dragons defend them in time of great need. For instance, when Thorn and his colt decide to mess with the humans. The humans aren’t supposed to know who they are in their human forms, but when Taylor falls in love and accidentally reveals her secret…
The Characters
Taylor has spent her life as any normal teenage kid. Besides the fact that when she’s not in school or socializing with the human populace, she is fighting baddies as a dragon. For generations, Taylor’s family has been gifted with the power of being able to transform into a dragon at will. It is a gift, but also a burden. With great power comes great responsibility, as her mother always says.
Jake, Taylor’s cousin, but close enough to be a brother, also has the gift. He is always there for her and will fight with her no matter what. He will always help her with tough decisions, push her when she needs it, and be patient with her when she is sad. The only thing he disagrees with her on is mingling with the humans. While she stays well away from most contact, he is constantly dating girls and hanging out with human friends.
Nick is the youngest of the generations. He is only thirteen years old, but still strong enough to be on the field when danger calls. He is sweet and loving, always making Taylor and Jake laugh when they need it. He is noticeably smaller than Jake and Taylor, but gives his all. He will protect them to the end of time.
Thorn is a dark, twisted and evil dragon that hates all of mankind. He believes that the human race should perish in his claws. In the old days, when he was just a hatchling, humans knew about the dragons. They hunted the dragon population until near extinction. This included the killing of Thorn’s six siblings and his mother and father. Forced to stay hidden for the next thousand years, the dragon populace dwindled to a few surviving dragons. Thorn’s hate for the humans grew and as he gained strength, the last of the dragon species joined up with him out of fear of being killed. Now, he rules over all pure bred dragons. He believes that the human race shall perish. The only thing stopping him isn’t the humans themselves, but the small population of half dragons defending them.
Astrol is Thorn’s right-wing man. He is almost as old as Thorn himself and was one of the first to join his colt. He believes in the extermination of the human race.

Name: Taylor Sommers

Looks: 5'4'' with Long, brown hair that falls four inches past her shoulders. She always wears it down, feeling content with the bangs that run diagonally across her face. She has high cheek bones, and a straight nose. Her eyes are a vibrant gray with silver flecks in them.
History: She's half dragon. She was always taught to put others before herself and to do what is right. Never, has she hurt someone intentionally unless they threatened her or if it was her cousins.
Persona: Very outgoing and loves to hang out with her family. She feels more normal in her dragon form and just enjoys the feeling of flight. She is fierce in battle and will not stop until she has reached her goals. She loves swimming and volleyball and loves when she meets really sweet guys, but she shy's away from them.
Dragon/ Half Dragon?: Half Dragon
Dragon Looks: Sapphire colored scales that, under her stomach are a light blue. Her tail is curved into a wicked spike and she has spikes that travel down the ridge of her spine. Her eyes stay the same in the transformation except the silver flecks glow brighter. She has long claws that can retract like a cats. She usually stands on four legs, feeling more comfortable and she is faster that way. She can stand up to her full hight on her hind legs which is about twelve feet tall. She has one set of wings that are the same shade as her scales.
