Alex didn't know any stories except for a few and they were all clearly tragic and sort of depressing. Was he depressing? Is that why he wrote and read depressing things? "uhm... Ok..." He started, trying to think if a none depressing one.

"There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile. He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile. He had a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse. And they all lived together in a little rooked house. The end." He finished with a laugh. 

"I don't know any real stories that aren't... sad or depressing. Or Scary." He added, he shrugged. 

Alex started to strum the strings of the guitar in his lap slowly, his fingers picking at the strings very quickly. He made it look easy though playing the guitar wasn't all that easy, Katana would know that of course. His strumming slowly got louder, but only slightly to match Katana's own melody that she was creating with her guitar. 

Katana looked over at Alex "You wanna record this?" she asked. She had been thinking the same thing, Katana wanted to remember or at least hear what it sounded like all together. She had brought her phone and if Alex had something that could record that would be fine also. Katana put her hand over the strings to stop it from making sound and waited for his answer happily.

Alex stopped his guitar too in the same manner, putting his hand over the strings before he replied.  "Sure, I used to record with my brother all the time." He said, looking around the room. "And if i can figure out where I packed that recorded up we can record." He said, getting up and going over to a random box that was labeled 'music'.

He opened it and dug through it for a few moments before he fished out what he was looking for. He played it and the sound on harmonized guitars came out loud and clear over the small speakers. "Found it." He said happily and came to sit back down with it.

Alex smiled ad set it down and pressed the button that would allow them to record. He was carefult not to record over the melodies him and his brother created, now that he had found this thing he could get the melodies off onto a CD. 

He sat back into his chair and brought his guitar up again, listening to Katana's again before playing along and blending their sounds. He felt like he had heard this melody somewhere before but figured it was because his melody told about himself, as did Katana's So together, they were familiar.

Alex found himself listening to Katana's melody, it sounded sort of sad. He wasn't even paying that much attention to his own though he was still playing. It just came to natural to him he didn't have to pay attention to it anymore. The recorder was still silently recorded and other than the two guitars the house was totally silent.

Alex finished playing too and let the strings vibrate until they stopped on their own and then he leaned forward and grabbed the small rectangular recorded and hit the small red button that made it record. He put it back down and looked up at Katana as she bowed and thanked the ghosts for coming with a smile. "Feel better?" He asked her.
