Farii looked the male up and down. "Shouldn't two lions be mated before they share a den together unless they are kin?" Farii looked at the two lions before her sceptically. Jevai watched the queen. "Well... Um... I guess two lions should be... but... um..." Jevai had no excuse. |

Tanshi looked at the queen "Im so.. sorry my queen i'll be leaving now." Tanshi said and bowed before leaving and ran into his den.

Farii gave them both a stern look. Then, after Tanshi had run into his den, she turned and went to head in to hers. Jevai watched the queen leave. Then she headed to Tanshi's den. "I'm sorry. That was all my fault." |

Tanshi looked at her and walked up to her and licked her cheek "Don't worry i was the one who didn't want to sleep in the den with my brother." He said.

Jevai froze when he licked her. She had never been shown any kind of affection from anyone other than her now gone mother before. "But..." It took her a moment to put her words together. "... But I invited you. That makes it my fault." She then turned to leave. She did have some hunting to do. She was already late in bringing food to the pride.

Farii watched out her den opening, surveying the lions of her pride. She watched as Jevai left to find food for the pride. She saw Tanshi, now in his own den. She took in the image of Faolan studying his own reflection. Then, she turned her watchful eye to her son. Maivan was still asleep. He looked peaceful lying there, snuggled into his mother's side. It hurt Farii to know that her son wasn't really as peaceful as he now seemed. He was a prince with no King to teach him the ropes. Farii could only teach her son so much. She was no king after all.

Faolan looked at his reflection "Im sorry father. i know i should be protecting Tanshi, but he doesn't want it i tried my best to fulfill your dying wish." He said and continued "I can never tell Tanshi the truth about your death, im sorry" A tear slowly went down his cheek.

Farii stood when she noticed a tear fall from Faolan's eye. She glanced back at Maivan to be sure he was still asleep. Then, she strolled over to Faolan. As she reached him, she brushed herself along his side. "Are you ok, Faolan? You can talk to me."

Farii gave him a caring look of concern. "Faolan, I have two things to tell you," she stated. "One is that my name is Farii. You don't need to call me your queen all the time. Right now, I am your friend. Two is that I can see something is bothering you. I am not a stupid lioness. I know you are avoiding telling me the truth." She nuzzled his nose. "So tell me what is wrong."

Faolan looked at Farii and nodded "The reason me and my brother are so angry is because he doesn't know what the truth is about how our parents got killed, i told him they were killed by a bear, but he knows that's a lie the real reason was from a lion cub who went way to far from his home his parents ran after him and got killed by a lion protecting his pride." He said ((braindead))

Faolan sighed then nodded and stood up. He nuzzled against Farii "Thanks." He said and walked off towards his den. Tanshi looked out of the den when he saw his brother with Farii behind him.

Farii stood behind Faolan. She watched the two brothers, not making a sound at all. She was there to support Faolan, and she would only step in to help if Faolan needed the help. Jevai dragged a nilgai towards the prides territory. She got to the den area to see that Faolan, Tanshi and Farii were all in the brothers' den talking. She dropped the food in the feeding area and laid on the ground watching them. |
